“I’m not the one that’s going to lose Wesley… You are!”
Wesley looks at the people that came out of the dark in utter shock, he is looking at them in confusion, “How?! They should’ve been dead!”
The people that came out of the darkness are Rex and Adhara’s, parents.
Although the two cars behind them are still engulfed in fire showing that the explosion did happen, Wesley was surprised to find that they’re still alive.
Kyran is the one that leads them as they came out of the darkness,
“I’ve done what you said Rex”, he said from the side.
Hearing this, Rex glanced at Kyran who looks a bit different before he nodded his head.
There are not many obvious changes in Kyran’s appearance, but the aura he emitted right now is way stronger than the last time Rex met with him.
This is because Kyran has already reached the sixth rank,
Rex instructs Kyran to do something before he gave Kyran his spirit to assimilate with.
His spirit is a five thousand years old spirit that has also reached the early high spirit realm just like Adhara’s red serpent, it’s called Shurbaa the Overlayed Ash.
With Shurbaa as his spirit, Kyran’s presence is even fainter.
The dark element added with the spirit’s power that dwells in the dimension between shadow and darkness amplifies his already faint presence, even an eighth rank Awakened like Wesley can’t sense him.
It shows how much Kyran’s presence can’t be detected,
After Kyran said that, he gave Rex somekind of chip that Rex gladly take.
Rex lifts the chip in his hand while looking at Wesley with a smirk, “You said that you took Igor right? Well, this chip right here contains the video of you scheming to attack me”
“I can share this online and the public will hang you, not even your backer can help you then”
“How about this as a backup plan?”
Hearing this, the veins on Wesley’s neck bulge, “HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO RECORD ME!”
The clear anger that Wesley feels can be seen through his red face,
Wesley grins his teeth fuming in anger before his eyes widen, he realized how Rex manages to do this, “YOU BASTARD! EDWARD BETRAYED ME!”, he shouted.
Upon hearing this, Rex can’t help but crack a grin.
Since Edward has proven himself to be useful to Wesley, he was present in every meeting that they had as he also possesses the information regarding Rex.
But who would’ve thought that Edward is on Rex’s side from the start,
The last meeting they had is the summary of their plan to take Rex down, and Edward told Rex through the notes on the table before Rex sent Kyran.
Kyran then records the meeting from the darkness, he’s undetectable.
“Edward didn’t betray you, he’s not on your side from the start”, Rex said with a mocking smile, this makes Wesley’s aura start to circulate violently as his eyes glow Tosca.
Wesley gritted his teeth and said, “How can you work with Edward?! He resents you!”
“Oh, you mean about my fight with him regarding his kidnapped family? You don’t need to worry about that”, Rex replied before he signals to Kyran again.
This time, two people came out of the darkness.
Adhara looks to the side before her eyes widen in surprise, she instantly recognizes the two people that came from the darkness.
It’s Zelene and Edward’s uncle!
Upon seeing this, Wesley was at a loss for words, “W-What? How are they here too?”
“You don’t need to be that surprised, those two were never kidnapped in the first place. I just orchestrate that just to give Edward a reason to fight with me so he can get to you”, Rex replied with a devious smile.
Rex has planned this with Edward from the start,
Both of them made a plan to make Edward go inside the Atkins Family, they decided that making Edward’s family seems to be kidnapped is a great reason to start a fight.
The only thing Rex has to do is to refuse to help Edward for the reason of cautiousness.
Since the Atkins Family is pressuring him, there’s a good reason for him being cautious which gave justification to the orchestrated fight between them.
Only Evelyn and Kyran know about this one, the others don’t.
With this justification of their fight established, Edward can start approaching the Atkins Family with the reason for finding his family that is hidden inside the Cluster Domain from the start.
The Reed Family or Ari to be exact is just a scapegoat since Ari and Edward have bad blood.
Knowing Wesley’s personality,
He won’t help Edward at all but take advantage of him, but Edward is not that innocent.
After successfully infiltrating the Atkins Family from the inside, Edward told them information about Rex and the others’ powers, the Cluster Domain, and even kidnapping Igor back.
It’s all for the sake of gaining Wesley’s momentary trust.
Wesley might think that he’s trying to lure Rex out of the university to attack him, but in reality, he’s the one lured by Rex instead.
The information he got from Edward prompted Wesley to attack Rex,
If he knows exactly about Rex and the others’ power and also knows where they will run to if their backs are against the corner, this will increase the Atkins Family’s tendency to make an attack to finish Rex off.
At first, Rex’s plan was to attack Wesley’s factories first to lure him out.
Wesley will definitely attack them with full force if the factories are destroyed, but the only thing that catches him off guard was the Atkins Family attacking directly in Faraday University.
But aside from that, all of what’s happening is according to plan.
“This is not over Rex Silverstar, you win again this time but know that I will come back to take your life”, Wesley said with an ugly expression.
Attacking Rex right now will mean that he will get arrested,
It might seem to be not bad but if Wesley was about to get arrested then his family will be left without a head family, and that might result in a catastrophic loss for the Atkins Family.
When Wesley was about to leave, “Where did you think you’re going, Wesley?”
“Huh?”, Wesley glance back upon hearing what Rex said.
Rex is looking at Wesley with killing intent as he added, “If I wanted you to get arrested or crippled then I can just give Igor straight to Daniel, or even share your scheming video to the public to get you off my back the moment I had it”
“Why do I need even bother to make a plan to lure you out?”
Hearing this, Wesley’s expression turns even more ugly as he realized what Rex meant.
With a devious smile, Rex then explained, “I don’t give Igor to Daniel because at best he can only cripple your business, I didn’t share the video because at best you’re only going to be arrested”
“My end goal is not that… I want to kill you instead”, he added boldly.
BOOM!!
Wesley’s aura exploded as he glared at Rex with a hideous expression, he can’t believe what he was hearing, “You want to kill me…? A feeble Awakened like you want to kill me?!”
“Know your place insect!!”

Another powerful shockwave blasted from Wesley’s body,
Rex might have won the war but to actually think of killing Wesley makes Wesley angry beyond measure, he can’t believe the extent of Rex’s profanity.
The others were blown away by just the sheer aura coming from Wesley,
Adhara, Gistella, Evelyn, Kyran, and even the parents are all blown away by the force of Wesley’s aura, it’s the aura of an eighth rank Awakened that Rex can even hardly maintain his stand.
Thankfully, Gistella covers the parents and Edward’s family so they don’t get hit directly.
But instead of fear under Wesley’s immense pressure, a smile crept on Rex’s face as he nonchalantly look at Wesley, “If everything has gone according to my plan”
“You have no chance of winning against me Wesley…”, Rex added slowly.
Hearing this, the veins around Wesley’s body bulged as the Tosca linings appeared again, “WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU BRAT?!”, he shouted angrily.
But then he smirks brutally, “You should’ve let me go, I can kill your family right no-!!”
“Huaakh!”, out of nowhere, Wesley falls to one knee as he spat a mouthful of blood.
Wesley covers his mouth in utter disbelief when he suddenly vomits a mouthful of blood, his aura dispersed as the same pain inside his blood started appearing again.
After looking at Wesley falling to one knee, Rex then mutters, “Can you feel it?”
“What did you do?! and Where are my people!!”, Wesley shouted with blood still coming out of his mouth, he is still coughing blood while shouting this.
Rex places his Amuerus Katana on his traps, “All of them already died…”
“Each one of your factories is probably finished getting raided right now, the black hand, Luc Family, Platchi Family, and the Reed Family should already occupy your factories right now”
“You lose Wesley, I’ve taken everything from you”, Rex added with a grin.
This is why Rex didn’t tell Adhara,
In order to make Wesley not notice that the Awakened he stationed in Emham Forest is dead, or other odd things happening around him, Rex needs to make him sure that he’s winning.
Rex needs Wesley to get inside Emham Forest, there are no people here.
Killing Wesley in an open place although plausible might bring consequences, which is also why Rex lets the bomb Wesley planted stay there to add more confidence to Wesley.
Adhara turning berserk is also the last piece to push Wesley’s certainty further.
Unknown to Wesley who is starting to realize the dire situation, Rex already planned on who will take the blame for all of this and it’s a closer person than what Wesely imagined.
After saying that,
Light stepping sound can be heard as a man walks into Emham Forest attracting Wesley’s attention, Wesley glances at his back while still vomiting blood.
“As for the one that poisoned you, it’s none other than your previous right hand”, Rex said.
Wesley widen his eyes in surprise upon seeing the person,
A couple of days before Rex already brought Norman back to Hans, at that time Norman told Hans about the blocked memories of what Wesley did to his wife.
Since then Hans has borne insurmountable hatred toward Wesley,
Rex gave Hans the Blood Drought Pill that he got from finishing the first quest of the Blood Moon, this will be used by Hans to poison Wesley.
The pill is not as effective to Wesley, but it’s still powerful enough to weaken him like this.
Just after Wesley won the fight against Stevanus,
Hans gave Wesley a drink that has the Blood Drought Pill substance in it, thus poisoning Wesley like this without even him noticing he’s been poisoned.
Added with the injuries Wesley sustain fighting Stevanus, he’s very weak right now.
Even during Edward telling him information,
Hans already backed Edward up so Wesley trusts Edward even more, it’s not planned but works.
Seeing this, Wesley widen his eyes in utters disbelief as he saw Hans looking at him with a brutal expression filled with hate, “Why Hans! Why?!”
“You’re still asking why?!! YOU MANIPULATE ME FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS!!”, Hans shouted.
From the start, Wesley is the problem in his life,
Not only does he unable to hold onto his lust and rape Hans’ wife resulting in a child, he even manipulates Hans by making his wife tell him that the one that attacked them is a rival of Hans back in his home city in her dying breath.
After making Hans believe the one that attacked them is his rival,
Wesley’s men just like a savior in such a dire situation appeared and offered Hans a helping hand to avenge his wife by killing his rival who turns out to be innocent.
Because of that, Hans felt indebted to Wesley and work as his right hand ever since.
That was all nothing but Wesley’s manipulation, “You rape and kill MY wife! You even make me kill an innocent person! You’re disgusting, I regret every second of serving you as your right hand!”, Hans shouted angrily before spitting on the ground.
Knowing that all of his secrets have been spilled by Rex,
Wesley gritted his teeth as he intended to flee the place with his remaining strength, he dashes away but then suddenly,
BAM!
Out of nowhere, he got planted back down to the ground.
“Aarrghh!”, Wesley grunted as he got slammed back to the ground, the ground creates a web-like crack after his body hits the ground.
Seeing this, Rex smiles as a green smoke started to materialize into a person.
Prof. K finally appeared after taking care of the peak seventh rank Awakened outside, he then glance at Rex before he asks, “What do you want me to do with him?”
“Open his skin and create a path to stab his Spirit Core, I’m going to kill him”, Rex replied.
Hearing this, Prof. K did exactly that as his hand filled with a green smoke stabbed through Wesley’s chest corroding his skin easily.
“RAARGHH!!”, Wesley shouted in agony.
Prof. K’s hand is like acid as it melted Wesley’s chest without any remorse.
With the Blood Drought Pill becoming even more potent by the second, Wesley can’t do anything as his chest was ripped open by Prof. K.
Even his bones are melted exposing the green glowing Spirit Core,
But instead of stopping there, Prof. K goes ahead and melts each of Wesley’s limbs using his powerful corrosive green smoke.
It was brutal that makes the parents look away in fear,
Wesley’s shout kept ringing in the onlookers’ ears as Prof. K mercilessly melts all of his limbs, there’s not even a slight hesitation in Prof. K’s movement.
Although Wesley is already very weak in his state, he’s still an eighth rank Awakened.
Knowing this, Prof. K decided to cripple Wesley further just in case he tries to do something that might reverse the situation before Rex killed him.
It’s a precaution to guarantee that Wesley will not be able to do anything.
After doing that, Prof. K glance at Rex before he said, “The meeting will start soon, I’m going to go now before the king realized that I’m gone helping you”
“Okay, I’ll be there shortly”, Rex replied before Prof. K disappears again.
Rex looks at the green smoke disappearing before he glances at Kyran, “Take them away, I don’t want them to see this”, he instructed.
Hearing this, Kyran nodded his head.
Kyran brought the parents and Edward’s family outside of the Emham Forest by using his dark element, what Rex was about to do can’t be seen by them.
After they left, Rex approaches the crippled Wesley with light steps.
The others that are still here are looking at Wesley with hate, not one of them feels even the tiniest bit of pity for Wesley, not even Gistella.
Rex squats down beside Wesley who is still glaring at him,
“I’ve given you one chance to back away, but you’re too stubbo Rex mutters lightly.
He looks at Wesley’s body which is irreparable beyond measure before he added whisperingly, “I must admit that you almost got me, you almost expose me at the banquet”
Wesley widen his eyes upon hearing what Rex just said,
Seeing the surprised look on Wesley’s face, Rex grinned nastily as his eyes turns red.
Rex exposed his fangs while looking at Wesley with his animalistic red eyes, the sight of this struck a devastating surprise into Wesley’s core, he realized that Rex really is a Supernatural!
His suspicion turns out to be true, Rex is a Supernatural or rather a Werewolf.
“I’ll allow you to die after knowing the truth”, Rex whispers before he leans his face forward with a grin that exposes his sharp fangs clearly.
