Hundreds if not thousands of rotten corpses of humans are staked by black spears lining up a few feet from each other, the scene spans from left to right leaving no space at all.
It filled Rex's vision with staked corpses,
All of the corpses were staked perfectly the same as each other, they're staked on their mouths.
Some of them wear the outfit from all kinds of military divisions, while some are wearing guilds or even FAA outfits and they're certainly the ones that defended Eqosa City.
Out of all of them, there is one cross-shaped black object taller than the others.
Rex saw that there is five heads hung on the cross-shaped black object with a black skull on top of it, he doesn't know who they are but just by looking at the corpses alone, they are certainly Awakened.
It's suffocating, to see the Supernatural manage to do this again.
The cold wind brushes the entire place making some of the lighter-staked corpses sway, and Rex saw all of them have a weird symbol on their foreheads.
With a heavy heart, Rex asks the system to translate the symbol with heavy breaths.

Rex grinds his teeth upon reading the system's notification, not only do the Undead cruelly stake each one of them but they also marked them with a despiteful symbol.
While Rex is feasting on the scene, light steps can be heard from the back.
Leo and the woman walk slowly from the back as their eyes widen, the disbelief in their eyes can be seen clearly as they saw the view in front of them.
The woman covers her mouth as tears started to roll down her cheeks,

He kept on running to the sea of staked corpses searching for his father,
"Father! FATHER!", Leo called out checking each one of the staked corpses, even though it's almost impossible to find his father from this many corpses.
Rex follows Leo who is running left and right,
He felt a pain in his heart looking at Leo who was desperately trying to find his father, even the woman who he carries on his shoulder kept sobbing non-stop.
'Just how did this happen', Rex thought as he closes his eyes.
This all happened because the Great Barricade got breached, if it's not for that then it's impossible for a Supernatural army on this scale to manage to go through.

"F-Father...", Leo mumbles as he creeps toward the staked military man slowly, his entire body is trembling uncontrollably as his eyes gaze upon this corpse.
Hearing this, the woman looks toward Leo before her eyes widen.
The woman started struggling to break free before Rex puts her down, she then looks at the staked corpse and her legs feel weak as she falls to her knees.
'Out of all the corpses, they really manage to find their father', Rex thought wryly.
From looking at their expression alone, the corpse is certainly their father.
The corpse is wearing a military outfit and is missing one arm, his eyes are still opened as the Undead didn't have the courtesy to close them, and there's a black dagger still stabbed into his body.
Leo grabs his father's leg with his trembling hand as he shakes his head,
Although he already steeled his will knowing that his father has certainly died, seeing it in person still makes his heart crumbles and no one can blame him.
With determination, Leo grabs the black spear trying to pull it out.
Leo wanted to bring his father down from the black spear, but no matter how much he tries to pull the spear he just can't make the black spear budge from its spot.
He did it desperately giving it his all, but the black spear still stubbornly stabs the ground.
Looking at this, Rex slowly walks toward him and grabs the black spear.
After putting some strength in his hand, the black spear got pulled out off the ground before Rex gently puts down the black spear in respect for their father.
Rex also gently pulls out the spear off of their father's mouth,
Leo is already started sobbing while holding onto his father's corpse, the woman who is kneeling on the side didn't even dare to come close unable to see her father's corpse.
"Why did this happen to us, Why is the world so cruel!", Leo shouted desperately.
He kept on rambling about how unfair the world is as Rex gives him some time to mourn, he sigh before turning to his back, 'I'll check this place to make sure it's safe'

Rex leaves the two to mourn their father, he knows how they are feeling.
Although it's been a long time, the time that Rex and Mrs. Greene brings his real parents to be buried still brought a slight pain in his chest, it's a hard thing to remember.
'It's been long, I should visit their graves', Rex thought with a sigh.
Leaving the two, Rex scans the place around and finds that there is only a couple of low-rank Undead roaming this place as he takes care of all of them.

Without even caring about the ghoul's attack, Rex just received them calmly.
The ghoul's attack didn't even manage to land a scratch on Rex's clothes, it looks at its claw before intending to run away feeling that their power is too far apart.
It didn't even look back and started running to flee from Rex.

With a slight dash, Rex appears beside the ghoul before he kicks it right on its ribs crushing its entire body instantly as the ghoul got slammed to the ground.

Rex looks at the dead ghoul as he shakes his head, 'To think that I died because of this thing'
After clearing the Undead around to make sure the two are safe, Rex then went to the cross-shape black object with the five heads hung on it.
From a closer look, Rex saw that turns out it's literally a black cross.
The black cross is as thick as Rex's body and six times taller than Rex, it looks like it is made of black steel as it glistens under the golden sunlight.
After inspecting the black cross,
'It's different?', Rex thought as he saw the symbol on the hanging heads is different.
The previous symbol is marked with somekind of black ink shaped like a withered leaf but this one is different, not only that it's marked with red ink instead, the shape is a devious skull shape with an eye on its forehead.
Rex asks the system to translate this one,

But then suddenly he remembers something, 'Isn't this the same symbol as the human corpses during the big war in Dwight City? I remember it!'

Upon getting back, Rex can see that Leo and the woman are still mourning.

Many of the Undead are not comfortable walking under the sunlight although it doesn't hurt them, it's probably due to the fact that they're night creatures so they have such a feeling.

The woman looks at Leo in confusion despite her tears, she then holds Leo's shoulder lightly as she whispers, "Let's bury him, let father rest"
But Leo shrugs his sister's touch and hold onto the corpse,
"You want me to go there too father? Okay! I'll go to you", Leo suddenly said making the woman and Rex frown before suddenly,

Leo reaches out for the black dagger stabbed into the corpse's chest, he pulled it out and with one swift motion stab himself right in the throat.
Both the woman and Rex widened their eyes as they were caught off guard,
"LEO!!!", the woman shouted in absolute shock seeing the blood flowing out of Leo's neck, it stains her trembling hands in blood as she catch Leo's body.
Rex appeared beside them as he instantly buy a healing elixir from the shop.
"Help him! Please, Help him!!", the woman pleaded to Rex holding onto his arm.
Leo gazes up at the golden color that painted the sky beautifully, a smile crept on his face as he stretches out his arm to the sky, "Father... Wait for me, I'll be there", he mutters silently.
Without wasting any more seconds, Rex immediately pours the healing elixir into Leo's mouth.
"Leo! Leo! Stay with me, don't die!", the woman mutters softly feeling Leo's body start to get weak, the tears coming out of her eyes flooded out as she hold onto Leo.
Rex is also cursing himself for not foreseeing this, 'I'm fucking dumb!'
'Not everyone can cope with something like this easily, How did I not realize this sooner', he thought while helping Leo swallow the healing elixir.
But the system notification makes his body stiff,

The sudden system notification makes Rex looks at Leo with a heavy heart, unknowingly Rex doesn't have the gut to raise his gaze to meet Leo's sister's eyes.

But all Rex can say is an apology, he's too late.
Her eyes then slowly gaze at Leo who has already turned pale, the realization makes her body tremble until finally, her tears burst, "No, no, no! LEO!!", she shouted while hugging Leo's body.
The scream of agony reverberated to the surroundings as she holds Leo's body.
It was a broken view with so many corpses around them, 'This is just one family, and there are at least a thousand corpses here', Rex thought with a darkened look.
Never crosses his mind that another Supernatural almost match his hatred for Werewolves.
'This is unacceptable, just this once I'm going to go all out. So help me here System', Rex thought as he glance in the direction where the death energy is so thick.
Leo's sister's scream seems to attract the Undead,
But Rex's attention is pulled back to the woman as she said, "Hey... this must be a dream right?", the woman looks at Rex with a broken smile filled with tears.
Seeing the broken look, Rex can't help but smile assuringly.
"It's all just a dream, just rest here", Rex replied softly while hugging her trembling body.
The warmth of Rex's body penetrates through the woman's body, she's sobbing confusedly before suddenly her eyes turn blurry and the world is spinning after Rex hit the back of her head.
After knocking the woman unconscious, Rex stands up slowly with a darkened expression.
He already feels hundreds of presence on his back that are filled with Death Energy,
Rex glanced at them with a contorted look, the dark red Werewolf aura exploded from Rex's body as his eyes glowed with a red hue, "It's good you're all gathered here", he mutters.
BOOM!!
A powerful blast of energy blasted from Rex's body as Devo materializes behind him.
"None of you will survive", Rex added with a fierce glare as his body started making a cracking sound turning him into a monster.
