Jun Tianyun suddenly saw he was engulfed in darkness. He couldn’t feel if he was standing or floating. He simply felt nothing at all.
But then, stars lit up across the dark realm, turning the domain of darkness into a vast radiant cosmos. Jun Tianyun could see various planes, filled with life and vitality. Various worlds with their own stories.
The cosmos is endless, but so are the worlds.
However, some worlds managed to thrive for eons while some world met their tragic endings.
A world getting destroyed by a random meteor, or a burst of solar flare razing down everything. However, what made Jun Tianyun more apprehensive was the unnatural courses that destroyed the worlds.
He a gigantic monster, a mass of flesh and filth filled with various mouths on its surface suddenly finding a thriving world. As it tried to descend, a faint golden barrier appeared around the world, making a barrier to stop that monster.
However, the monster only growled as an invisible shockwave made ripples on the barrier. Soon, cracks appeared on the barrier as the monster shattered it.
Chaos, blood, and destruction soon engulfed that world. The monster was like a devourer, killing and absorbing the life force of that world.
It took a few years, yet the world turned into a wasteland, devoid of any life. The golden barrier was also sucked dry by the monster, signifying the world’s end
Jun Tianyun shuddered when he saw that. That monster could be simply called a cosmic horror.
Yet, as it was resting on that world, arcs of light appeared like a claw, landing on the monster’s body.
The monster roared in pain as it glanced at the cosmos with anger and horror. All of its mouths opened as it shot out a poisonous green beam of light.
Another entity appeared outside the cosmos, but its figure was like an ox before an elephant.
It was a humanoid figure with skin covered with armored silver and a reptilian tail flicking on its back. Other than its pair of crimson eyes, its face was devoid of any other parts.
Suddenly, black colored winds flared out from its back as they turned into sharp swords, brimming with terrifying energy of darkness.
The monster growled as it attacked the humanoid figure. The mouth of the monster moved as it suddenly spewed out a burst of green mist. The green mist turned into an army of monsters.
The space rumbled as the monster hoard charged at the humanoid figure.
Yet, the humanoid figure stood silently as its four wings on its back grew more and more. The size of the wings were more than a hundred time larger than that being.
Suddenly, the wings separated as they turned into jets of dark light. They flashed out and charged toward the army of green misty monsters.
*BOOM BOOM BOOM*
Like a hot knife cutting through butter, the dark jets of light sliced the monsters like vegetables. With an unstoppable momentum, the number of dark jets of light grew more and more as they annihilated the army of monsters.
The original monster hiding in the destroyed world trembled as it tried to seal off the world. However, those dark sword like wings shot toward it and pinned him down.
The humanoid figure descended as an illusory sword spanning a thousand miles fell from the sky, completely halving the world and destroying the monster.
The monster howled in pain, but the humanoid figure killed it in a matter of few minutes.
‘ Wha-What’s with their powers… It will take a fraction of a millisecond before they kill me.’ Jun Tianyun shivered with horror.
The humanoid figure knelt as it was praying. Suddenly, a giant portal appeared in the sky of the broken world as the corpse of the monster and a golden orb of light lifted up.
” Great God! Please accept your servant’s offering.”
It was just a small part, but Jun Tianyun glanced at an entity beyond the portal.
A figure without any face, wearing a crown of ivory with black pearls, sat on purple colored stone slab with a dominating aura. Even without any face or expression, Jun Tianyun could see the feeling of disdain and mockery.
It devoured the monster’s corpse and the golden orb of light as a radiant light fell on the humanoid monster’s body. The humanoid figure felt like it had been blessed as its power rose.
” True Angel greets Great God!”
Jun Tianyun didn’t know how much time passed. He drifted into the cosmos and witnessed the fight of various entities. Unlike anyone on Earth or any world he had visited, the cosmos was truly the realm of absolute strength.
Various divinities and their followers clashed, dimensions broke and chaos spread. Some worlds devoured others, making themselves more perfect and powerful.
Some got destroyed while some thrived, there was no absolute righteousness or evil, just simple use of power and authority.
” So these are the ones who called themselves divinities, huh?” Jun Tianyun suddenly felt a strange sensation. The gradual fear and awe vanished, and only a mild surprise remained.
” Well, With Heaven’s Fortune System, I guess I am already a half divinity?”
The sudden awareness suddenly jolted Jun Tianyun’s mind as he looked around. His Eyes of Fortune shone as the entire realm around him turned different.
Colorful strings of light connected everything and everywhere. Green, Blue, Violet, Silver, Golden, Crimson, Yellow, Black, and others were like a complicated net that was covering everything.
He realized something. He wasn’t any different from them at all. All it needed was the realization and power.
Suddenly, his eyes fell on the Throne of Fate, which appeared behind him silently.
From the initial appearance of a stone slab now turned into an exquisite throne made of pristine rock. Jun Tianyun chuckled as he sat on it. He felt his body and soul undergo a tremendous change as he gazed at the colorful strings.
” Fate…Destiny….These strings of fate span across time, defining the past, present, and future of a being.”
” Serpent of Dark Decay…He is a divinity who feasts on darkness and decay. His power is tremendous yet it’s currently sealed. He can easily trap me inside a dark domain, or simply sap away my lifespan.”
‘ But what can I? What is my divine power?” Jun Tianyun pondered.
” I see… Fate, is it?”
The cosmos around Jun Tianyun faded as he returned to God’s Space. Su Qingyao stood before him, bowing down completely.
” Your weapon has been finished.” Su Qingyao spoke. A grin appeared on Jun Tianyun’s lips as he saw the product.”
” Very well. Let me see how that bastard is going to escape.” Jun Tianyun snorted as God’s Space became distorted. He could clearly see what’s happening outside.
” Damn it! What the hell it is? Why can’t I move?!”
Jiang Shu, who already turned into the vessel of Serpent of Dark Decay roared. The golden runic chains sealed the sky, making an oppressive aura on Jiang Shu.
” Why? The World Law of Planet Gaia should be already destroyed due to remnants of Elemental Spirit King! Then why! Why is it suppressing me!”
” Well, Well… It looks like we finally managed to bait you out, little lizard.”
A soothing voice appeared near Jiang Shu with a hint of mockery. ” Even if your true body is outside, your consciousness already descended in Jiang Shu’s body.”
” So… Now, you are a turtle trapped in a jar.”
Jiang Shu’s expression changed drastically when he heard that. ” Bastard! Just wait! I will devour this world! I will kill everyone and refine their souls, throwing them into an eternal pit of rot and decay!”
” Noisy!”
Before Jiang Shu could react, a punch landed on his face, almost caving his skull inwardly.
*BOOOOOM*
Jiang Shu slammed on the wall, breaking it and falling into rubble, Blood splashed on the debris as Jiang Shu got up.
” Bastard! You are done for!”
Cracks appeared on Jiang Shu’s body, his eyes flared like a cobra’s eyes. An overwhelming pressure erupted from his body, covering the entire area with a faint violet glow.
” Domain of Decay!”
Jiang Shu suddenly felt a surge of fear when they looked at Jun Tianyun. He was standing with an expressionless face, but the aura around him changed completely.
Previously, he radiated a powerful battle aura, yet he gave a feeling of a powerful being, but still a mortal.
Yet now, it changed drastically. Jun Tianyun gave off a tremendous pressure, like the gaze of a heavenly being itself.
” DIE! DIE DIE DIE DIE!”
Jun Tianyun only smirked when he saw the domain of decay engulfing it. Jiang Shu’s twisted smile suddenly froze when he saw a glint of light.
It was a very thin arc of light, but it was very easy to spot amidst the domain of decay.
It was like the river of stars shooting toward Jiang Shu at an incredible speed.
” Shield of Decay!”
*BOOOM*
Jiang Shu coughed a mouthful of blood as the dark colored shield before him got halved and his right arm got severed. Before he could heal, he suddenly saw Jun Tianyun appearing right before him.
A sword flashed in his hands with a dreamy silvery light, like a bright nebula in the cosmos. Amidst the domain of chaos and darkness, it was like a pillar of starlight, slashing at Jiang Shu’s neck.
*BOOOOM*
The entire domain vanished as Jiang Shu used all his might to teleport. However, half of his body was severed, falling on the ground like sliced vegetable.
*ARRRGGHHHHH*
However, the burning pain from the radiant starlight made Jiang Shu scream in agony. Although black liquid again congealed to regenerate his body, the pain almost made the Serpent of Dark Decay faint.
” How! How did you escape my domain of decay! Your body should have rotten into pieces!” The serpent howled in pain.
” Well, If you can control decay… I can also control a bit of fate.” Jun Tianyun chuckled.
” Yo-You! How can you control fate? Impossible!” The serpent roared.
” Sorry, Brother.” Jun Tianyun shrugged. ” Trade secret.”
Before Jiang Shu could react, several rounds of beams fell on Jiang Shu’s body, destroying that area completely.
” Railguns are sure good, eh?”
Jiang Shu’s body was reconstructed again. But this time, he returned to his normal human self.
A dark serpent rose from his body and tried to escape.
