“You just made the biggest mistake you’ve made in your life!”, Edward whispers in her ear.
The whisper that seeped into her ears makes her body tense in a blink of an eye, she has her eyes widen with an obvious hint of fear in them.
With a trembling voice, Lisa then said, “I swear it’s a misunderstanding…”
But Edward didn’t believe her words at all as the look on his face becomes colder.
“So you decided to get close again with Kyran just to find information for Ari? You really have big courage for doing that, don’t believe the kind facade Kyran is wearing in front of you”
“But now that you’ve done it, you’ll know the real Kyran soon”, Edward with a fierce smile.
Since Kyran seems to like Lisa for some reason,
He has been wearing a kind front every time he’s in front of Lisa, but since Edward has already seen Kyran as a whole he knows that is not his true self.
It’s only a front he kept to make Lisa comfortable around him,
But with this betrayal that Lisa did by telling what Kyran told her to Ari, that kind of front will quickly turn into a nasty one that even Edward doesn’t want to imagine.
“Please! Don’t tell anyone about this!”, Lisa pleaded desperately.
She then continues, “I was blinded by greed so please just this once, keep this a secret!”
The plead caught the attention of the guards that are gathered from Edward’s shout, one of them then asks, “Is there a problem here? Who is that guy that disappears?”
“Ari from the Reed Family”, Edward replied.
He’s ignoring Lisa who is pleading with him desperately while hugging his leg.
Hearing this, the guard then said, “Ari? Then it’s okay, he’s welcome here since he has a relation with Rex Silverstar”
Edward nodded his head and told the guards that everything is fine,
After the guards left, Edward looks down on Lisa who is still pleading with tears in her eyes realizing that if Rex knows this then she will be in very big trouble.
“If I were you I will quit the university and go far away from here”, Edward said.
This made Lisa’s body freeze as she heard what Edward said, but before she can reply Edward had already pulled his leg away and left Lisa on the ground.
He doesn’t need to bring Lisa to Kyran or even Rex,
Kyran already slept with her and her scent is something he can find easily, ‘What a blunder’, he thought while shaking his head left and right.
Meanwhile, Rex and the others arrived in front of the canyon just beside the Galdosa River.
Unlike the last time, they were here,
The canyon is packed with Awakened from ranging ages and power, just by nearing the place they can already see the crowding Awakened that is trying to train in the canyon.
“Let’s go inside, we’ll find a fifth rank or even sixth rank mutated animals”, Rex said.
After entering the place, they found that the canyon is almost fully investigated as almost all of the caves inside the canyon have already been marked.

The same notification appeared in front of Rex’s vision just like last time,
It confirms to Rex that his memory is not wrong, the system did pop exactly a notification like this when he hides from the Yule Moon in this place.
‘Just how powerful this creature is to have a lair of its own’, Rex thought.
Rex and the others then were approached by an FAA member that guards this place, but when the FAA member is near his eyes widen upon seeing Rex.
He instantly realized that the one in front of him is the Rex Silverstar,
“Sir Rex, It’s an honor to meet you in person”, the man said while bowing slightly.
Hearing this, Rex glanced at the man before he then asks with a nod, “Can you guide me to the available fifth rank or sixth rank caves, we’re going to train”
“Of course sir! Please follow me”, the man said.
Rex saw that the man is leading them further into the canyon passing the other Awakened that need to be checked individually for their power, but Rex doesn’t need to go through that procedure as his power is already known.
While walking deeper into the cave, the man then said, “FIfth rank and above caves are few here”
“There are only about 12 caves that have fifth rank or higher mutated animals, the highest one is at the end of the canyon where an early seventh rank mutated tigers lies”
This makes Rex frown as he heard that there is a seventh rank mutated tiger, ‘Is it Rurvi?’
‘No, he said tigers so there’s multiple of them. It’s not Rurvi’, Rex thought as he shakes his head, but the fact that there’s an early seventh rank mutated tiger inside the canyon troubles him.
If there are such creatures here, then Rurvi should be stronger.
Rex doesn’t really know how he will fare against mid or peak seventh rank power, but he’s quite sure that he will not be stronger than them.
After walking for a couple of minutes,
They finally reach the end of the canyon with fewer caves around, Rex can only spot about five caves around the end of the cave although it’s already been marked.
But when he arrives at the end of the canyon, Rex frown.
‘What is that shroud energy?’, Rex thought while looking at his front.
He then asks the man leading them while pointing to his front where a gap covered by a shroud energy barrier lies on the wall, “Has anyone checked beyond that energy barrier?”
Hearing this, the man looks in the direction Rex points at.
“What barrier? We already checked the place thoroughly to avoid missing any unexplored caves”, the man replied in confusion.
This makes Rex frown, “Did you not see that gap in front?”
The man shook his head as he didn’t see any gap in front except for walls, he even walks closer to the wall in front of him but found no gap that Rex is talking about.
Rex then glanced at the others and also finds they are shaking their heads.
‘System, Why am I the only one that can see it?’, Rex asks.

Reading this, Rex was surprised that there is such a thing.
‘If that’s the case, then that place should be where Rurvi lies’, Rex thought.
After knowing where to check, Rex glance at the others who are waiting for him to say something, “Adhara go on ahead and hunt together with Gistella, Kyran you will come with me”
Hearing this, Adhara and Gistella nodded their heads.
The both of them then follow the man to the cave on the right while Rex and Kyran stayed behind.
“Where are we going?”, Kyran asks lightly.
The air around Kyran is different than usual thanks to getting demoted to an Omega, it makes even Rex feel off around Kyran but he knows that this is for the best.
Unknown to him, Kyran did something more that will anger him.
Rex then replied, “Just follow me, I need to check something”
Although one of the reasons Rex brought Kyran is because of his sensitive senses, another reason for that is because of the Omega role that will act as a shield for him.
Kyran’s endurance stat right now is even higher than Rex’s, so it makes sense for him to take the hit.
With slow and steady steps, Rex approached the gap in front of him that is covered by the dense cursed energy followed by Kyran on the back.
Upon reaching the gap, Rex then cautiously stretches his hand.
The gap is covered by the dense cursed energy, it looks eerier and ominous thanks to its dark color so Rex feels the need to be careful when approaching it.
But when Rex’s hand touches the dense cursed energy,
Blub!
Just like water, his hand penetrates through the dense cursed energy.
After checking that his hand didn’t feel any sense of pain, Rex then brace himself while preparing to use the transferral crystal he had in his inventory if the situation beyond the dense curse energy went south.
Rex’s entire body went through the gap as his eyes looks around cautiously,
The entire place beyond the dense cursed energy looks to be exactly like the canyon, but it’s a bit darker and dimmer with everything in the shade of black or grey.
‘It’s just like a reflection of the canyon’, Rex thought while inspecting the place.
But then suddenly, [Becareful, I’ve been in this kind of situation. I believe this is called the Cursed Zone, this can only be used by powerful cursed creatures], Devo explained.
Hearing this, Rex frown after Devo confirmed that Rurvi is very powerful.
‘What else do you know about the Cursed Zone?’, Rex asks.
Devo then replied, [I don’t know much but I believe the Cursed Zone enhances the cursed creatures’ power and it is where a cursed creature can hide, they also can bring others inside their Cursed Zone]
After inspecting the place, Rex looks back and saw Kyran can’t enter the Cursed Zone.
Rex poked out his head surprising Kyran before he asks, “You can’t come inside?”
“How did you go inside the wall?”, Kyran asks back in disbelief.
Then Rex got an idea as he grabbed Kyran’s hand and pulls him inside, but then suddenly, “Argh!!”, Kyran grunted as he got slammed to the wall.
‘I thought it might work’, Rex thought wryly.
Since Kyran can’t enter the Cursed Zone, Rex is left on his own as he told Kyran to wait for him to go back out of the Cursed Zone.
Resuming his inspection,
Rex walks deeper into the Cursed Zone to find nothing, even his strong senses as a Werewolf can’t sense even the tiniest bit of presence inside the Cursed Zone.
‘Where is it? I can’t find anything here’, Rex thought looking left and right.
The place he is in right now is circle-shaped that is quite big, but then Rex squints his eyes when he saw a couple of corpses in the corner of the place.
At first, Rex didn’t see it as he was focusing on if there was any presence in here,
But now that he inspects the place closely, there are indeed some corpses here and there that have their life sucked out of them leaving only a deflate and thin corpse.
After searching the place to find a clue of Rurvi to no avail,
Out of nowhere, Rex’s body suddenly jolted when he felt something looking at him from above.
Rex snaps his neck to look at the ceiling and finds a creature that has a smile on its face looking at him, its head is the only thing that pops out while its entire body is inside the wall.
Without wasting any time, Rex scans the creature.

Upon looking at the Rurvi’s stats, Rex widens his eyes in utter shock, ‘Oh fuck…’
ROAR!!!
Rex closed his ears when Rurvi suddenly roared menacingly making the entire Cursed Zone tremble, it was so deafening that Rex’s ears started to bleed profusely.
It went on for what felt like an eternity before the roar receded,
BOOM!
‘That shatters my eardrums! It’s too powerful’, Rex thought in surprise.
After recovering from the roar, Rex raises his gaze and finds Rurvi looking at him with the same evil smile that looks a bit condescending in a way.
Rurvi turns out to be a 32 feet long white tiger and stands around 13 feet.
It has the same stripes on its body just like a normal white tiger but there is curled hair that is similar to that of a male lion around its neck but it is fixated in place as it seems to merge with its head.
Aside from that, Rurvi has a weird symbol on its head painted in red.
The aura that comes out of Rurvi is non-existent, unlike the cursed Orc that Rex met in Wedron City Rurvi emits no aura that makes it even scarier.
A low growling sound can be heard as Rurvi looks at Rex silently,
Rex has already held the transferral crystal in his hand but out of nowhere, “I’ve seen you before, Werewolf in disguise”, Rurvi suddenly said.
Hearing this, Rex widens his eyes in shock, ‘It can talk?!’
“What are you doing here, mongrel”, Rurvi added while squinting its red eyes.
The question snap Rex out of his daze since he was still caught off guard by the fact that Rurvi can talk, he then replied, “I’m here in search for you, Rurvi the Evil One”
“You know me…?”, Rurvi asks with a surprised look.
Rex smiles lightly and straightens his back knowing that the cursed creature in front of him is a powerful one, Rurvi then added, “Why are you searching for me?”
Upon hearing this, Rex then reads Rurvi’s stats again,
“I want to cure the curse I possess, but the deal I made with a certain Werewolf said that I need to bring you to him. Do you mind helping me by coming with me?”, Rex asks.
But Rurvi then looks at Rex in confusion, “I don’t sense any curse on you”
“What? I have a curse that bound me with a Vampire, I want to get rid of it as soon as possible”, Rex replied, he doesn’t get why Rurvi who is a cursed creature can’t feel his curse.
This makes Rurvi’s eyes widen, “If I can’t sense your curse, then it is bestowed by a higher one than me”, but Rurvi then added, “Why should I help you?”
“I can help you find the Blood Witch?”, Rex said randomly.
While looking at Rurvi’s stats window, Rex finds that Rurvi’s race is related to the Blood Witch so he might convince Rurvi by bringing this.
But out of nowhere, ‘Did I make a mistake?’, Rex thought while stepping back.
The air around Rurvi suddenly changes as its face darkened, just these changes alone make Rex certain that he said something he shouldn’t.
“Blood Witch envoy must die!!”
