Evelyn looks up to the sky as she saw the four lightning strikes that took a dragon-like shape descend from the sky, it was so fast that she almost couldn’t follow its movement.
It didn’t take long before the dragon-like lightning strikes hit the man.
This sent Evelyn rolling away from the shockwave created, she then raised her gaze before her eyes widen in surprise, ‘That’s not early Seventh Rank power!’
Although she’s not the one that got targeted by it,
She can feel that the four dragon-like lightning strikes are not something an early seventh rank can do, much less Rex who is not an early seventh rank but only has equivalent power to an early seventh rank.

While his limbs are bitten by the dragon-like lightning strikes, a pulse of electricity got injected into his body every couple of seconds that fry his nervous system making foam come out of his mouth and his eyes rolled back.
It was a powerful display of an Ultimate Spell that even surprises Rex,
‘That’s some powerful spell, It sucked 80% of my mana just from using it once’, Rex thought.
Just like the system’s description of the spell before, this Sky Imprisonment is an Ultimate Spell and can only be used once every day but will increase if Rex becomes stronger.
But for now, he can only use it once, and the benefit is worth the cost of mana.
Rex is looking at the man that was restrained in place without having any strength to move, the pulse of black lightning zapped him every time he regain some of his strength.
Even Rex thought that he might not be able to free himself from the Sky Imprisonment.
‘Mid seventh rank might not be able to break free from this, much less an early seventh rank’, Rex thought as he inspected the man while shaking his head in awe.
The spell will restrain any target that has intelligence below 200% of Rex’s intelligence.
No one with an intelligence below 3600 intelligence can free themselves from the Sky Imprisonment, it’s an absolute spell that restrains a target.
The best part of the spell is that Rex doesn’t need to maintain it,
As long as Rex didn’t cancel this spell, the four dragon-like lightning strikes will keep restraining the target possibly forever since the system didn’t specify the time.
“I don’t want to kill you, but you leave me no choice”, Rex mutters.
Without waiting for any longer since the man seems to be in so much pain from the Sky Imprisonment, Rex drives his katana into his chest before a notification appears.

Evelyn arrived back at the university at dawn after making a quick stop at Rex’s old place, Rex is not beside her as he was in his old place tending to Norman while she went back to the university.
Instead of going to her room, Evelyn takes another route instead.
There’s a fancy shopping bag in her hand with a branded logo on it as she makes her way through the university’s hall, she grabs it in the only mall in sector 3E.
Since the mall is open 24 hours, she manages to buy this.
While walking, the windows around the university started to brighten.
The sound of chirping birds can be heard alongside the dawn sky, another day is already starting and Evelyn’s eyes are tired and in need of sleep.
Upon arriving at Rex’s room, Stuart already waited for her outside.
“Did Rex tell you to wait for me?”, Evelyn asks nonchalantly.
Hearing this, Stuart bowed slightly before he replied, “Yes, Sir Rex already notify me”
“Have you prepared a room for me? I really need some quick shut-eye before Kyran comes back”, Evelyn said as Stuart opens the door for her.
But before Stuart can reply, Evelyn stopped when she saw a woman standing in front of her.
The woman is already aged as can be seen through the wrinkles on her face, she’s also surprised to see Evelyn walks inside the room.
“Madam, Did I wake you up?”, Stuart greeted politely.
Mrs. Greene glanced at Stuart before tapping Stuart’s shoulder lightly, “Oh, no you didn’t. I just thought of taking a morning walk in the garden, Adhara said it’s quite lovely”
‘Madam?’, Evelyn thought with a frown.
But she soon realized who the woman is as she puts on her brightest smile, “Mrs. Greene, it’s a great luck meeting such a wonderful woman like you this early in the morning”
“I’m flattered, but I’m already of age”, Mrs. Greene replied shyly.
Evelyn shakes her head and said, “Oh, no… you’re still stunning in spite of your age”
“My apologies but do I know you?”, Mrs. Greene asks.
After exchanging pleasantries, Evelyn then introduced herself with a polite smile, “I’m Rex’s friend at this university, my name is Evelyn”
“What a wonderful name for a gorgeous woman like you, I thought you were Rex’s other girlfriend”, Mrs. Greene said with a laugh making Evelyn’s expression redden.
Evelyn then gives Mrs. Greene the bag she’s holding,
Seeing this, Mrs. Greene was confused but her eyes lit up brightly upon seeing the brand logo on the bag, “What’s this for Evelyn?”
“I heard Rex’s parents are here, this is just a meeting present for me”, Evelyn replied.
Although it’s not much of a present for an Awakened of Evelyn’s caliber, this is still a limited edition bag costing tens of thousands of dollars that she picked up on her way back.
She can just tell one of her men to buy it for her, but she didn’t.
Mrs. Greene smiles wider upon hearing this as she takes the bag from Evelyn, “You didn’t have to, but thank you Evelyn. I’ll accept this and make sure to mention to Rex that you made my day”, she then winks playfully.
“Are you coming inside?”, Mrs. Greene asks when she realized that Evelyn is still outside.
Hearing this, Evelyn glanced at Stuart.
Stuart leans closer to Evelyn’s ear before he whispers, “The rooms are occupied, Adhara is in the training ground but it’s not appropriate for you to sleep in her and Rex’s bedroom”
“I came here to give you that present, but I’ll have to get going now”, Evelyn said to Mrs. Greene.
But when Evelyn was about to went back to her room, Mrs. Greene suddenly grabbed her hand and out of nowhere touches Evelyn’s forehead.
“Have you been sleeping well? It’s not good for your body to stay up all night”, she said.
This caught Evelyn off guard but she soon recovers and smiles, “I feel a bit weak but one good sleep will take care of it, thank you for your concern, Mrs. Greene”
After saying that, Evelyn left before Stuart said, “May I accompany you, madam?”
“Yes, please. The students are going to crowd me if they see me without my husband”, Mrs. Greene replied with a slight chuckle.
Meanwhile,
Rex puts down the unconscious Norman before he looks around the place.
‘This place is quite destroyed, their fight seems to be very fierce’, Rex thought as he saw the claw marks in this place, the stench of blood is not present but the air in here feels a bit stuffy.
But he’s not bothered as he will fix this place later,
After looking around the place filled with the battle scars from the fight between Edward and Kyran, Rex’s eyes then landed on the unconscious Norman on the wooden floor.
Rex squats in front of norman before he stretches his hand to Norman’s head,
Just when his hand is nearing Norman’s head, the grey aura started to become visible again which comes from the Type 2 Mental Blockage.

After deciding that, Rex then asks again, ‘How do I cancel the spell?’

Rex can feel or somewhat see the grey energy shutting down a part of neurons inside Norman’s head, the grey energy looks bizarre inside Norman’s head as it seems to be there for a while.

The shutdown neurons inside his brain are covered with grey energy and the electricity of the brain can’t communicate with these blocked neurons, and this result in Norman being unable to access this memory.
As the sky black lightning mana seeped onto Norman’s head,

“Rrrghh!”, Norman gritted his teeth even though he was still unconscious.
The system points the direction of where Rex needs to lead his sky black lightning mana, and this process requires heavy focus and precise control over his mana.
If he messed up even a bit, Norman’s brain will be fried and kill him instantly.
Beads of cold sweat started to decorate Rex’s forehead as he control his mana following the system’s guide, but after a couple of minutes, “Hah!”
Rex’s eyes jolted open as he falls back to the ground with ragged breathing,
‘This is harder than I thought, I’m still not used to the element’, Rex thought with a frown, he almost messed up his control so he retracts back his mana forcefully.
With that, Rex kept trying to cancel the spell for hours.
These past hours are gruesome mental exercise for Rex, he needs to control the chaotic nature of sky black lightning element which is a struggle on its own.
Aside from that, Norman woke up in the middle of the process a couple of times.
Rex needs to knock him out again and again before resuming the process, but he didn’t complain since this also helps him get used to the Sky Black True Lightning element.
It went on for a couple more minutes until suddenly,

Out of nowhere, Norman’s body started to experience seizures as Rex messed up his control over his sky black lightning and alerted the grey energy.
This makes Rex open his eyes in concern as he saw Norman’s trembling body.
‘Shit! System what should I do?!’, Rex asks in a hurry as he saw Norman’s nose and ears start bleeding, this clearly indicates Norman’s life is at risk.

Since the grey energy detected foreign energy trying to cancel it, the grey energy activates a self-defense mechanism that will fry the brain entirely to protect the blocked memory.

Although he’s the one that tries to cancel the spell which makes this his fault, Hans is still the most to blame since he puts such a defense mechanism that will kill Norman to protect the blocked memory from leaking out.
It’s brutal for a father to do this to his own son,
In a hurry, Rex grabs Norman’s shaking head before he closes his eyes again.
Without having much time left to fix this situation, Rex immediately follows the system’s guide to get rid of the spell core that takes a shape of a grey ball in Norman’s head.
The mana needs to get there before Rex can forcefully lift it out,
Rex frowned while closing his eyes as he hurriedly guides his mana through Norman’s sensitive brain, in just half a minute he had already reached the shutdown neurons.
The sky black lightning then slowly travels through the shutdown neurons,
It’s just a tad more before reaching the grey ball, but Rex has never reached this far before so he slowed down his mana control so he doesn’t mess up even more.

Rex frowned even harder as the system shows the time limit,
‘It’s now or nothing’, Rex thought as he forced his sky black lightning mana toward the grey ball, he follows the system’s guide in a hurry and a bit forcefully.
But in a time like this, he needs to take some risks.

Just at the end of the time limit, Rex’s mana reaches the grey ball.
Rex instantly control his sky-black lightning mana to grab the grey ball, and with a jolt of his mind, the grey ball got sucked out of Norman’s head.
Thud!
“Haah… Fuck!”, Rex cursed as he looks at the grey ball on the wooden floor.
Albeit at the end of the time limit, he manages to take the grey ball from Norman’s head just in time before the grey ball fry Norman’s brain.
Upon getting taken out of Norman’s head, the grey ball got canceled.
It started to dissipate into mana slowly beside Rex,
Rex then glances at Norman and found that his seizures stop and his breathing becomes calm again, with a sigh Rex lies to the ground tiredly.
His mind is ringing in pain as the process puts a heavy mental burden on him.
The grey ball is a spell conjured by a Mind Elementalist, so it also strains Rex’s mind just to try approaching it to cancel the spell.
But nevertheless, Rex manages to do it.
‘The memory better be worth it’, Rex thought as he takes a moment’s break.

Adhara got back from the training ground with her entire body covered with sweat, she wanted to take a shower to rinse off the stickiness of her body,
She opens the door to Rex’s room before she saw Mrs. Greene was also about to go out.
“Adhara! You’re back from training?”, Mrs. Greene asks with a smile.
Hearing this, Adhara smiles lightly before she said, “Yes, I’m going to take a shower now. How’s the garden? It’s refreshing right?”
“You’re right, the air there is very comforting”, Mrs. Greene replied while nodding her head.
But while they’re talking, Adhara’s eyes fall onto Mrs. Greene’s hand that is holding somekind of a bento box, “Are you going to eat outside?”
“Oh, this? It’s not for me”, Mrs. Greene replied.
She then continues, “Rex’s friend came by a couple of hours ago, she’s so kind and even give me a branded bag! But I noticed that she seems to not feeling well, so I’m bringing this food for her”
“Her?”, Adhara mumbles with a frown.
Mrs. Greene then added with a smile, “Yes, her! She goes by the name Evelyn, did you know her?”
