Kyran’s dagger stabbed the Awakened in front of him right on his throat,
The Awakened that got stabbed was in a state of disbelief but instead of Kyran, he’s looking at the Awakened on the corner hatefully.
It didn’t come from the fact that Kyran manage to take on all of them without a sweat.
Even Kevin who is in the same room as them doesn’t need to lift a muscle as Kyran took care of all of them, they didn’t stand a chance against Kyran especially since most of them are pretty wasted from the start.
But the dying Awakened is angry with the Awakened on the corner instead,
All of the Awakened here got killed leaving one person that is standing in the corner of the room.
Five corpses of the Awakened in the mansion were scattered around,
Four of the corpses including the man that Kyran fought before and the Awakened he’s stabbing right now are lying in the guest room, while another one was killed on the second floor.
It’s the drunk one that is still trying to catch the two women,
Kyran only threw one of his daggers powerfully before it stabbed the drunk Awakened and pinned him on the wall, even the two women got blasted because of Kyran’s energy.
Because of that, Kevin is now on the second floor checking on the two women.
While Kyran is in the guest room pulling back the dagger from the Awakened’s throat before he turns to his back to look at the last Awakened on the corner, Abi.
“You’re a survivor alright”, Kyran mutters lightly with a smirk.
Hearing this, Abi jolted as he realized that Kyran is talking to him, “I just don’t want to die”
A moment ago, when Kyran started fighting with the Awakened.
Abi heard that Kyran will only leave one of them alive, and because of that when Kyran is fighting with the others he killed his comrade stabbing him in the back out of fear of dying.
This was unexpected and Abi did this in the hope Kyran will spare him,
“Nofal, I’m searching for a man called Nofal. Where is he?”, Kyran asks while wiping his dagger from the blood with a cloth he found on the table.
It’s the blood of his comrade, and Abi was dazed because of this.
But soon he snapped out of his daze and replied albeit stutteringly, “N-Nofal is dead”
Kyran’s hands that are wiping the dagger stopped upon hearing this, he then slowly turns his head towards Abi which makes Abi step back unconsciously, “Dead?”
“We’re instructed to protect Igor and we found that Nofal is a spy from the Luc Family”
Abi is explaining the situation honestly since Kyran looks to be angered by the fact that Nofal is dead, he’s desperately trying to sugarcoat his words so it won’t make Kyran angry.
Hearing this, Kyran then mumbles, “Igor… So that’s the kid’s name”
“It’s fine if Nofal died, but tell me where Igor is right now”, Kyran added as he sat on the sofa.
There’s one of the corpses lying on the sofa with a severed belly and neck, but the corpse didn’t bother Kyran at all as he sit there leisurely.
Abi then instantly answered, “He’s in a room downstairs, I can show you!”
But out of nowhere, Kyran suddenly chuckled.
The chuckle makes Abi’s body stop as he’s confused why Kyran suddenly chuckling, Kyran then said, “You’re actually being honest, I’m really surprised”
“Of course I am, I won’t dare lie to you”, Abi replied with a wry smile.
After looking at Abi in amusement, Kyran then stands up while playing with his dagger, “So which one will it be? Your head or your heart?”
“W-What do you mean?”, Abi mutters in confusion as his heart thumps faster.
The vibes around Kyran suddenly changed from relaxed into bloody in a split second, but then Kyran replied with a nasty grin, “I just wanted to see how much of a clown you are”
“Stabbing your friend in the back, and even telling me an intruder what I want truthfully”
Hearing this, Abi’s expression started to turn pale as he can feel that he won’t make it out alive.
Seeing the color from Abi’s face got drained, Kyran’s smirk becomes even wider as he continues while tapping his feet, “I already know where Igor is, I sense two-person under my feet”
“I never intend to let any one of you live from the start, but you…”
“You’re disgusting”, Kyran added as the dark aura started to envelop his entire body.
Even his eyes turn black thanks to the dark mana, he puts his dagger away with a contorted smile before his fingernails started to grow sharp under Abi’s gaze.
Abi’s soul leaves his body upon seeing this, “G-Great Wind Spell, Wind Da-“
Just when Abi wanted to cast a spell to flee the scene, his eyes suddenly dilated when Kyran was already right by his side, “You’re too slow…”
SLASH!
Kyran stabbed Abi’s chest with his hand and grab his heart,
It happened in a blink of an eye as Abi looks down in horror, but his expression didn’t last as Kyran crushed his heart.
SPLURT!
The blood burst from Abi’s chest thanks to Kyran’s claws drilling inside, Kyran’s face got splattered by the blood but he didn’t mind it as the smile was still on his face.
Thud!
Abi falls to the ground lifeless after Kyran crushed his heart,
It was his biggest regret that happened in his life realizing that Kyran didn’t intend to spare him at all, he regrets killing his own friend until his life was clawed away by Kyran’s claws.
After killing Abi, Kyran looks down to the ground before gathering dark mana onto his fist.
His eyes glisten as he punches the ground powerfully with a swing of his arm.
BOOM!
The ground crumbles from Kyran’s punch,
“AAHHH!!”, a high-pitched scream can be heard as Kyran falls down.
Turns out there’s an underground chamber below the mansion, the rubbles falling stopped before Kyran glance to the side and finds a mother and son pair.
From the green hair of the kid, Kyran instantly realized who he is, “Hello Igor…”

A sonic boom can be heard making five Awakened that is dashing towards a direction stopped, it surprises them since they can feel a powerful aura approaching them.
“Someone is coming this way”, a woman said as she looks up to the sky.
The woman is wearing a light green sleeveless battle robe with an eagle symbol on her chest, there is a circlet on her head with a green crystal in the middle of it.
Just from a glance, the circlet is surely a piece of battle equipment,
She’s standing in front of the group of five which shows that she should be the leader of the group, and now she’s gazing at the sky after feeling enormous energy heading their way.
Even the night sky started rumbling out of nowhere even though it was clear with no clouds.

BOOM!
Out of nowhere, a figure appears in the sky like a blitz of lightning.
The figure then falls down from the sky before landing right in front of the group of five, it makes the ground tremble as the figure lands blasting a spark of black lightning.
“Who is that?”
“Why am I shaking? I can’t stop…”
“That lightning is not normal, this person is very strong!”
While the other Awakened are looking at the figure warily, the woman looks at them and saw all of them shaking visibly upon the figure’s arrival.
Even she started shaking, it’s like their instincts are telling them to run away.
Inspecting the figure in front of her, the woman frowned.
Although the figure is not boasting his aura except for weird white steam,
The woman can see and feel the terrifying battle aura surrounding the figure’s very muscular body as if every inch of the figure’s body is a weapon and they’re very deadly.
It’s clear in her eyes that the figure is trained to the hilt, and this figure is none other than Rex.
After deciding to test his new element and let out some of the anger he had toward Calidora, Rex instantly went to the group of Awakened from the Atkins Family.
Upon arriving at the place, Rex’s eyes landed on the woman wearing a sleeveless battle robe.
Out of the five Awakened in front of him right now, the strongest one is the woman that should be the one from the Wind Knights Evelyn talked about before.
Rex’s eyes then glisten as he scans the woman,

Seeing this, Rex nodded his head as he already expected that the Awakened from the Wind Knight must be at least seventh rank since the Wind Knight’s lowest power is peak sixth rank.
At first, before Rex got here,
No matter how angry he gets, he will forget fighting this group of Awakened if the Wind Knight amongst them has power above early seventh rank.
But it seems that will not be the case,
“Greetings, May I know why you are here?”, Hina asks without any hostility.
Although this is their territory, some of the Awakened from other families might also wander to their territory which is not uncommon for them.
Hearing this, Rex then replied nonchalantly, “I’m here to kill you”
Hina frowned upon hearing this, this is the first time she ever heard a clear confrontation like this.
“Are you the one that broke into Hans’ house?”, Hina asks as she readies herself.
The other Awakened around her that are varying from the sixth rank and fifth rank also ready themselves, it’s clear that Rex bore hostility to them.
Rex smiles but his smile can’t be seen behind his black mask,
He then replied, “You’re from the Wind Knight am I right? Why are you here when Hans is not a part of your family anymore. It’s none of your business whether Hans’ home is invaded”
This makes Hina silent as she looks at Rex suspiciously,
Without even answering Rex, Hina then said, “This is a neighborhood with many citizens, are you sure you want to fight here and get captured by the FAA?”
“Who said we’ll be fighting here?”, Rex replied before suddenly,
BLITZ!
Rex turns into a streak of black lightning closing the distance between them, he then grabbed the two weakest ones amongst the group without letting Hina to even react.
With a smile, Rex then said after grabbing the two, “Let’s fight somewhere more private”
SWOOSH!
“Damn it!”, Hina cursed when Rex grab two of her team members and ran away.
Her legs then started swirling with wind mana before she said to the others, “Let’s go after him, I’ll go on ahead and you guys make sure to keep up”
Hina then dashes to run after Rex with a speed matching Rex himself,
SWOOSH!
Rex is dashing through the sector like a streak of lightning, not one of the citizens he passed by can see him before the powerful wind from his dash pushes them away.
Since fighting in this crowded place will attract attention,
He decided to search for a place more secluded and not in the neighborhood area.
The two Awakened that Rex brings with him can’t do a thing since they’re only fifth rank Awakened, even weaker than Adhara and the others which make their body paralyzed.
It takes but a touch from Rex’s finger to paralyze their bodies thanks to the sky black lightning.
Just from this alone, Rex can already feel the power of his new element.
BLITZ!
Upon looking back, Rex saw Hina is running after him.
Her speed is not slower than Rex’s, in fact, she seems to be getting closer as time passes by but this is natural since she’s a wind Elementalist.
If a Wind Elementalist lose in a fight of speed, then they’re a failure as a Wind Elementalist.
After dashing through the sector for almost five minutes, Rex suddenly saw a sign on the side of the road for a fraction of a second before he turns hard right.
It didn’t take long before he left the neighborhood area and reach the sector side.
Rex stopped upon reaching a huge lake that hardly has any houses around except for a couple, but it seems the owner of these houses is not home since Rex doesn’t sense anyone in the houses.
BOOM!
With a stomp of his feet, Rex went from lightning-fast to zero in an instant.
He stopped right beside the lake before a powerful gust of wind blasted the surroundings as Hina also arrives at the place a couple of seconds after him.
But Rex frowned when he saw Hina floating above the water, ‘She can do that?’
“Hand over the both of them and fight me instead, don’t be a coward and a bully who only fights those who are weaker than you!”, Hina said with a hint of anger in her tone.
Rex smile lightly before he said, “Are you implying that you’re stronger than me?”
“Okay, I’ll give them back”, he added.
After he said that, Hina was surprised upon hearing this as she saw Rex tossed both Awakened.
Both Awakened got tossed toward Hina but before Hina can grab the both of them,
BLITZ!!
There are two lightning strikes that penetrate both of their chests mid-air, it scorched their entire body and kill them instantly just like that.

Two notifications from the system confirm that both Awakened are dead,
Hina widen her eyes upon seeing this as she was not expecting this.
This is the Atkins Family territory and although they’re not the strongest family, none of the other families will attack them much less kill their own blatantly in their territory like this.
After a slight pause, Hina then glance at Rex murderously, “You are Rex Silverstar am I right?”
“Took you long enough, just like I said earlier I’m here to kill all of you”, Rex replied while pulling his mask down to show his face, his mocking grin was exposed right after that.
Seeing this, Hina’s body started to tremble in anger before suddenly, “Spirit Shadow!”
BOOM!!
Right after the chant, a roaring spirit in a shape of a green fox appears on Hina’s back bringing a powerful pressure alongside it.
The spirit is not astral but actually has a physical body,
Hina’s aura got amplified a couple of times right after the spirit appears, and the wind blowing powerfully from the fox spirit even manage to push Rex a step back as he marvel at the scene.
It’s the first time Rex is fighting against a seventh rank Awakened,
[That is the power of a seventh rank Awakened, they can use Spirit Shadow, and the spirit of that Awakened possess a physical body and can fight alongside the Awakened], Devo suddenly said.
But then he added, [It’s a lower spirit, so the Spirit Shadow only amounted to this much]
Hearing this, Rex smiles in amusement, ‘So this is a Seventh Rank Awakened power’
‘Spirit Shadow…’
