“Hans…”, Edward mumbles as he looks at Hans picking up the teenager across the street.
The teenager inherits Hans’ look as his eyes are slit making his face look snake-like, but the smile on the teenager brings a very different aura from Hans.
Even Hans has a rare smile on his face while picking the teenager up.
“Dad, What’s wrong with your teeth?”, the teenager asks.
Hearing this, Hans immediately ceased his smile as he realized that he was missing a couple of teeth, this is because of fighting against the black hands before.
“It’s work, you don’t need to worry boy”, he replied lightly.
The teenager looks at Hans in worry before he wanted to get inside the car, but when the teenager just puts one of his feet inside the car, “Hans…”, a voice called him.
Hans frowned upon hearing this familiar voice,
He glance to the side and found Edward already standing beside the teenager, this makes Hans widen his eyes before he swiftly got out of the car and snatch the teenager away.
Thud!
Both of them landed a couple of feet away from Edward,
This even attracted the surrounding people’s gazes when they realize that Hans is an Awakened, even the other teenagers that seem also to take musical lessons were surprised.
All of them are looking at Hans in surprise as they started taking pictures.
“Are you Norman’s father?”, a teen came up to Hans with brightly lit eyes.
Upon hearing this, Hans can only smile lightly in reply before his eyes land on Edward.
The teen started rambling to Hans and to his son, Norman about how cool to have a father that is an Awakened, but Hans didn’t pay attention as he look at Edward warily.
Edward then nudge his chin signaling for Hans to follow him,
Without having no other choice since Norman is here, Hans can only tell Norman to wait in the car while he follows after Edward to a quieter place.
Both of them stop in front of a closed store by the side of the street,
“What are you doing here Edward? Are you here to exact revenge for what I did?”, Hans asks squinting his eyes, he already has his phone on his back wanting to dial someone.
But Edward caught this as he said, “There’s no need to be alert Hans, I’m here for another reason”
“Why would I believe you? A team of Awakened are nearby, you’ll be coming with me”, Hans replied sharply, but all he gets are a shrug from Edward.
Looking at this, Hans frowned but then Edward added, “I’m here regarding my family”
“Your family? Why does that have to do with me?”, Hans asks in confusion.
Edward’s expression turns dark as he mutters with a tone filled with anger and desperation, “They’re kidnapped, and judging from your expression right now it seems my suspicion is true. I want your help to locate my family, they’re definitely kidnapped by the Reed Family”
Hearing this, Hans was surprised but his surprise soon turns into a frown instead.
“You have Rex by your side, Do you really think I’ll fall for this?”, Hans said with a condescending smile, it’s suspicious for Edward to come to him like this.
It’s very odd no matter which side Hans’ is seeing it, Edward coming to him is suspicious.
Upon hearing this, Edward went silent.
It went on for half a minute before he finally said with a heavy tone, “Don’t bring Rex into this…”
Hans was confused upon hearing Edward’s tone,
The tone when he says Rex’s name is not, as usual, he somewhat feels slight anger in his tone which makes him think that the way Edward says Rex’s name is different.
But he then shakes his head,
“As far as I’m concerned, you might be sent here by Rex. How am I supposed to trust the words from your mouth?”, Hans asks again with a probing gaze.
But Edward turns around and said, “You either trust me or don’t”
“I’m here to ask for your help locating my family, the Reed Family is also your enemy so I came here because of that. I don’t want to play games, my family’s life is at stake and I’m asking you for help”
When Edward wanted to leave, he then added, “Don’t forget, I’m close with Rex”
Swoosh!
Edward left the place under Hans’ gaze as he dashes away,
Hans kept his eyes on Edward until the moment Edward’s body disappear from his vision, he then glance back to his car before he looks down and mumbles, “I’ll report this to Wesley”
Meanwhile,
Supernatural Territory, Vampire Kingdom.
Calidora walks inside Rosie’s chamber again with her light steps,
p But when she steps inside the chamber where Rosie is kept, Rosie didn’t even look up to see as she’s fragile from hardly being given anything to eat for so long now.
She can feel that her body becomes weaker by the day,
Added with Queen Nezera who somewhat came to her chamber to feed a couple of times now, it seems she drinks Rosie’s blood as a relief when she’s under stress.
This further weakens her body since she needs to replenish the blood she lost.
Her face portrays the life she went through here as it’s already pale because of being kept here, her life is an endless torture thanks to her blood which is said by the Vampires to be the chosen one.
“Hello, Rosie…”, Calidora greeted lightly.
Hearing her name being called, Rosie’s body twitches as she weakly raises her gaze.
Rosie saw Calidora standing so close to her, but she can’t even raise her gaze high enough as she can’t even see Calidora’s eyes properly.
Her gaze stopped on her wide smirk,
The wide smirk makes Rosie frown as she notices that Calidora is a bit different, she can’t put her finger on it but Rosie notices something, ‘She becomes stronger?’
After stepping inside the chamber,
Calidora glanced at the royal vampires that are guarding the chamber, the royal vampire guards instantly knew what she meant but they were unwilling to leave.
CRACK!
Her eyes suddenly glow as the wall beside the vampire guard on her left crack.
The scene happens suddenly and the royal vampire guards can’t even react, her eyes make the royal vampire guards shiver before they eventually left the chamber under Calidora’s glare.
Rosie lowers her gaze again as Calidora arrived in front of her,
With the same smirk, Calidora then asks teasingly, “Did you notice it too?”

Out of nowhere,
Calidora’s claws started to get imbued by blood energy but the blood energy coiling around her claws is dark red almost reaching black, it gave Rosie goosebumps just by sensing it.
Rosie doesn’t have the energy to raise her head,
Even though she can’t see Calidora’s claws, she can feel the crushing aura clearly.
The dark red almost reaching black color blood energy gives a terrifying aura, it felt crushing for Rosie but she can’t do a thing as she is chained.
Dispersing her aura, Calidora then asks again, “Are you still unwilling?”
Rosie didn’t answer as she only stood in her place weakly, the chain is holding her up which makes her unable to properly lie down or even sit down.
“I’m asking you, have you changed your mind?”, Calidora asks again but with a forceful tone this time.
“You will never be able to force me to do anything for you, Even if I die I won’t do it…”, Rosie mumbles very weakly, but Calidora can hear her words clearly.
With a devious smirk, Calidora then said, “My mother will use you as bait and sacrifice”
“If you don’t agree with me now, you’ll suffer a fate far worse than death”
Hearing this, Rosie quirks up a smile as she spits on the ground hatefully, “I don’t care about your threat, you’ll be the one that will end up losing eventually”, she said with a mocking chuckle.
Calidora’s face darkened upon hearing what Rosie said,
She took a couple of light steps towards the chained Rosie before she grabbed her face and forced her to look at her eyes, Calidora’s red eyes are glowing brightly.
The black pattern inside her eyes is spinning around like a snake,
With an aura filled with hostility, Calidora then said, “That’s not what I wanted…”
Just after she said that Calidora’s hair started to wave around just like inside water as she summons her blood aura, Rosie’s reply clearly angers her.
But even with such an intense killing intent, Rosie didn’t budge.
It’s not that she’s really brave in front of such a fierce Vampire, but she’s already at a stage where she doesn’t care about anything anymore.
Calidora then suddenly takes out a rock,
The rock is the one given by Delarosa which has a red rune engraved on it.
After taking the rock with a red rune on it out, Calidora then shows it to Rosie before she said with a smirk, “I think you need a little motivation, Why don’t we meet Rex now?”,
Back to Rex,
Rex and Evelyn are now on a rooftop of a house,
Although it’s only for a moment, Rex’s body is already sizzling but covered by his hoody.
Both of them blended in the night thanks to their black outwear, and they both are looking through a window where a teenager is sitting at his desk playing with his laptop.
“He’s not here, it should be clear”, Evelyn whisper from the side.
Hearing this, Rex nodded his head before they both disappear from the place.
Meanwhile inside the room,
“Bro, I don’t know your dad is an Awakened?! Why did you keep that a secret?!”, a voice that comes from the laptop said to the teenager.
It seems the teen is video calling a guy the same age as him.
This makes the teenager roll his eyes as he sighs lightly, “My father doesn’t like me boasting around that he’s an Awakened, he said that it will help me be normal and blend in”
“If I were you, I’ll definitely boast to my socials about him!”, the guy replied.
Not finishing there, the guy then continues curiously, “What about your mom, Is she also an Awakened like your dad? Woah, a family of Awakened how cool is that?!”
But instead of the expected reply,
The teenager looks down in thought as his entire vibe changes in a blink of an eye.
“Mother… My mother is already gone…”, he replies weakly.
Hearing this, the guy on the other side covers his mouth knowing that he just brought up something bad as he said, “I’m sorry bro, I didn’t mean it like that”
“It’s okay, it’s already past me any- ARGHH!”
Out of nowhere, the teenager suddenly grabs his head as a painful feeling submerges him.
The teenager’s friend on the other side panicked as he called out multiple times, but the teenager doesn’t reply as he lie on the ground while grabbing his head.
A slight grey aura emerge from his head, but the teenager didn’t see it.
He’s busy grabbing his head that is hurting as if he got stabbed in his brain, the veins popping around his forehead indicate the pain he’s feeling right now.
“Norman! Norman!! What’s happening?!”
“Answer me!”
The guy on the other side called to him a couple of times to no avail,
Norman grabs his head and rolls on the ground a couple of times feeling that his head wants to explode, even his entire expression turns red because of how much he’s trying to hold the pain.
This went on for almost three minutes straight.
After three minutes, Norman woke up slowly and finally heard his friend screaming.
“I’m okay! I’m okay!”, he said a couple of times.
The words were meant for himself more than for his friend, “What happened? You should see a doctor, that’s not normal!”, the guy said.
But when Norman was about to say something,
“Norman…Is that your dad on the back?”, the guy said while pointing at Norman’s back.
Hearing this, Norman frowns as his dad just left an hour ago and it’s almost unlikely for him to come back this early, “Father?”
The guy on the other side tries to decipher who the person is,
He almost concludes that the person is not Norman’s dad, but when Norman turns around to look at the person behind him,
Blip!
“What the heck?! What happened?”, the guy cursed as the video call got disconnected.
Back to the room,
Norman glanced to his back before suddenly,

A subtle lightning strike went past his eyes and hit his laptop, the laptop got destroyed instantly as the lightning strike tore a hole in the screen.
This makes Norman jolted from his seat,
But out of nowhere, a gentle hand grabbed his shoulder and push him back to his seat.
“Calm down little guy, we’re not here to harm you”, a soothing womanly voice crept to his ear.
Norman looks at both person that is somehow inside his room right now and finds that they both are wearing a black mask, he can’t see their faces.
But from the voice, the one beside him is certainly a woman.
Gritting his teeth, Norman jolted from his seat again after the woman let go.

Wind mana gathers on his legs as he makes a desperate dash to jump out of the window, but before even reaching for the window his head suddenly got grabbed.
The other person that makes his body tiny in comparison grabs his head,
“You’re not going anywhere”, the person said in his baritone voice, this makes Norman helpless as both people inside his room are Awakened.
More powerful than him, or even his father to be exact.
Both people are none other than Rex and Evelyn, who break inside the room like a ghost after realizing that Hans is not in the house.
Norman tries to struggle but it is futile, Rex’s grip won’t budge.
“Quick let’s get out of here, the other Atkins might realize that you’re not in the university if we left for too long”, Evelyn said hurriedly.
Hearing this, Rex nodded his head but suddenly,
A notification popped on his vision which makes a frown appear on his face, Rex slowly turns his head towards Norman who is still struggling.
But his eyes landed on the side of Norman’s head,
Rex can feel slight grey energy from the top of Norman’s head, and upon looking at this grey aura the frown on his face becomes harder, “A spell?”
