Another wave of lightning shockwave burst from the Warden of the Sky Core,
The sheer might of the shockwave got blocked by the powerful barrier surrounding Rex, but the air still got out from the barrier as it cracked the room Rex is in.
Even the entire training ground rumbles every time the lightning shockwave exploded.
“Sir Vargas! Someone is upgrading their elements into an Ultimate Element!”, Linda shouted from the side in shock, she saw the entire training ground rumbling.
Vargas also frowns as he can sense the lightning mana becomes chaotic,
,m It’s like a powerful burst of blackhole that sucked every lightning mana in the surrounding, the scale of the phenomena is frightening, “There’s no other one except for him…”, Vargas mumbles.
After reaching the quiet room that Rex is in right now,
They can instantly see Rex inside the building-high barrier since the quiet room was destroyed, and everyone can see the smokey circular object above him.
The lightning mana that got sucked onto the smokey circular object was blocked by the barrier.
An insane amount of Lightning mana started to hover outside of the barrier creating a blue sparking spiral, every friction it made created a lightning strike that hit the surrounding.
Without waiting for another second, Vargas covered the entire place with his mana.

Vargas gritted his teeth as the entire university got engulfed in Fire Arcane Mana, Rex’s quiet room was also covered by Vargas’ mana as an extra layer of protection.
BOOM!
“AAHH!”
“WAAGH!!”
Many students inside the training ground fall after getting hit by a powerful wind.
Even Linda who is beside Vargas was shocked to find that some of the energy leaked out of the barrier Vargas made, she widened her eyes in horror, “This is not an early ultimate rank!”
“It’s not…”, Vargas mumbles as he points to the sky.
Seeing this, Linda looks up to the sky and finds that the entire sky was blocked by black clouds.
The day is very bright and sunny without any clouds blocking the sky a minute before, but out of nowhere, these black clouds covered the entire blue sky!
The rumbling of lightning can be heard from the sky,
It’s as if this rumble shows that the scene Linda or even the others are seeing right now is real, the sky did indeed got covered by rumbling thunderclouds.
Vargas started to fly up to the sky alongside Linda,
His eyes are showing signs of disbelief as he saw that the entire sky as far as his eyes can see was covered by the thunderclouds, the span of the phenomenon is horrifying.
“The scale and the energy… it’s not just an ultimate element”, Vargas mutters in disbelief.
But when he realized what this feeling was, Vargas looks up to the sky in utter shock, “True Lightning! It’s actually True Lightning!”
Meanwhile,
Rex can feel the heavy burden on his back as the Warden of the Sky Core started levitating higher and higher into the sky, it was akin to carrying tens of tons of weight on his back.
The system gave Rex a signal as he instantly chugged the holy elixir.
Rex also takes out the True Body Water and pours every last bit of it on his body, it didn’t take long before his entire body turns glossy and emits faint colorless energy.
It’s the sign of a True Body Constitution, this will help Rex in sustaining the process.
‘Rrrghh! It’s still so freaking heavy!’, Rex thought as he spat a mouthful of blood to the ground, even with the elixir and the True Body he still can’t sustain the pressure.
While he’s trying to withstand the pressure,
The Warden of the Sky Core went inside the thundering clouds as the rumbling becomes even greater, the air started to tremble to sign what was about to come.
Feeling the energy, Rex slowly stands up before he widens his eyes, ‘I can’t withstand that!’

In order for Rex to reach the Ultimate Element, he needs to absorb the True Lightning from the strike that is about to come but the sheer energy he’s feeling makes his heart clenched.
[Get ready, it’s about to strike!], Devo warned from inside his head.
Knowing that he can’t back down from this since the Warden of the Sky Core can only be used once, Rex clenched his jaws as he went into his stance intending to brace himself.
The rumbling clouds become even more chaotic by the second,
Even the air around the entire sector started to blow cold wind, it was bad air before the storm.
Rex activates his black lightning and also his red force trying to enhance himself further, he even uses the Lunar Blessing from the system to increase his stats further.
BLITZ!

The ground cracks as Rex puts all of his power to strengthen his body, it’s not an exaggeration to say that no one in the sixth or even seventh rank realm can penetrate his body.
It brings his stats to the seventh rank realm, his bodily power is insane!
But even with the addition of stats from all the skills he had, Rex is still sweating coldly as he gazes up to the sky already gritting his teeth.
The heavy breathing coupled with his thumping heart shows his nervousness,
After the rumbling sound went on for several minutes, there’s a huge silence with nothing but his rough breathing that can be heard as Rex gazes up to the sky.
Rex hears his own breathing before his eyes widen,
There’s a dark blue lightning strike reflected from his eyeballs.
It happens in a split second as Rex saw dark blue lightning crawling down from the sky, it creates somekind of root shape as it descends down from the sky.
The lightning bolt is no doubt a True Lightning as there’s a yellow hue in the middle of it.
Although the crawl of the lightning strike looks slow, Rex knows that it’s only his imagination as in a split second right after that,
SWIT!
KABOOM!!
“RAAARRGHHH!!!!”, Rex shouted as his body got hit by a concentrated true lightning that descend down from the sky like an ax of judgment.
It electrocutes his entire body as even his black lightning was nothing in front of it.
BOOM!
A powerful lightning shockwave exploded once again as even the barrier around Rex started cracking, Vargas’ barrier also trembles upon the true lightning strike.
Every inch of Rex’s body is screaming in pain,
The pain he’s currently feeling right now beats anything that he ever felt in his life, even his first transformation into a Werewolf still pales in comparison to this one.
Rex’s body feels to be burned inside out repeatedly,
With his current True Body, the black lightning is amplified and his body is also strengthened.
But even still, Rex’s vision started to get blurry as the pain overwhelms his override senses which makes his body tremble due to the true lightning.
[Don’t pass out! Stay conscious!], Devo shouted as he imbued Rex with spirit energy.
The spirit energy started to strengthen Rex’s black lightning that is trying to fight off the true lightning, the pain lessen for quite a bit snapping Rex out of his daze.
‘It’s not enough!’, Rex thought shaking his head as his skins started to get peeled off.
Rex then saw a notification pop in front of him,
<Warning! The user’s body is receiving too much damage from the true lightning!>
<The user’s body will explode in 50 Seconds!>
Without having no other choices left, Rex remembered something amidst the pain as a red crescent moon symbol appeared on his forehead.
“Berserker’s Curse!”

Rex regains his consciousness fully after activating the Berserker’s Curse,
The skill he got from Jarvald is very useful in this situation since it will strengthen his body alongside the pain inflicted on him, it makes his wounds stop healing but he needs to keep his consciousness rather than heal the wound right now.
After stabilizing his mind, Rex suddenly heard something inside his head.
[We have no choice, this is going to hurt], Devo suddenly said,
Hearing this, ‘What are you saying?! What are you going to do?!’, Rex screamed in his head but Devo didn’t answer, Rex felt all of his media shook instead.
“Huaakhh!”, Rex coughs a mouthful of blood right after his media shakes.
Out of nowhere right in front of his eyes, Devo’s body started to materialize in front of him.
The pressuring power coming from Devo blocks most of the true lightning that helps Rex to breathe, but his media felt strained thanks to Devo coming out of his body.
Upon seeing this, Linda widens her eyes, “Physical Body! His spirit has a physical body!!”
“How is this possible?! He’s not the seventh rank yet but his spirit has a physical body?!”, she added in disbelief, this is the craziest event she has ever seen in her life.
Even Vargas is no exception as he can only look at the scene in front of him blankly.
Devo’s muscular cloudy body with golden chains around him appears out of nowhere and creates a spirit energy shield around Rex’s body, the rest of his spirit energy went to the black lightning that can hardly keep up with the true lightning.
Thanks to this, the black lightning can somewhat cope with the true lightning.
But Rex can’t keep this up as the blood gushing out of his mouth shows that he can’t maintain this for long, this process needs to end now if he wanted to live through this.

Reading this, Rex instantly puts the elixir from the inventory directly into his mouth without even opening the lids and just biting through it.
The blue very powerful thick string appears around Rex’s body,
Just like the last time Rex upgrade his element into black lightning, the blue string started to capture the true lightning as it merged with the black lightning.
Little by little, step by step, both lightning merges together.
After both lightning merged together, Devo’s physical body went back inside Rex’s body as a spirit energy cocoon envelop Rex’s body that started to levitate like a bubble.
Rex closes his eyes as he focuses on perfecting the new lightning.
Under Rex’s inspection, the black lightning that has already merged with the true lightning has a hint of yellow strands in the middle of it.
There’s no saying how much power this new lightning possesses,
Vargas and Linda landed above the destroyed roof of the quiet room Rex is in, they saw Rex starting to control the lightning under their surprised eyes.
The building-high barrier is tattered with many holes on it,
Even the barrier that is made by Vargas doesn’t look good either as it looks on the brink of shattering, it’s clear that the True Lightning is an even higher rank element than the one Vargas possesses right now.
After a moment, the lightning mana hovers around the barrier like a spiral stop.
Both Vargas and Linda can feel the violent brush of the lightning mana that is now sucked into Rex’s body through the holes on the building-high barrier.
The lightning mana in 100 miles got sucked into Rex’s body,
It all gathers in the middle of Rex’s chest as the spirit energy rises by the second, the process went for several minutes as the entire surrounding got devoid of any lightning mana.
Not even a strand of lightning mana in a 100 miles radius was left,
All of them got sucked into Rex’s body as a black with yellow spots core formed inside Rex’s chest, but Vargas can feel this black core-forming inside Rex’s body clearly.
“His spirit core is forming, and it’s almost completed”, Vargas mumbles in pure shock.
There’s not one phenomenon that happened like this since the Supernatural Emergence, Awakened that wanted to reach the seventh rank has to work blood to reach it.
But right in front of Vargas’ eyes, Rex’s spirit core is forming.
Not only does he just upgrade his element into an Ultimate Element, but his realm also progresses thanks to the True Lightning that attracted the lightning mana to him.
This suction alone can match the mana contains in tens of thousands of high elemental stones.
It’s simply astonishing,
Rex still levitating on the air in his meditative position, he’s focusing on the spirit core he’s forming right now as the new lightning becomes more stable.
The process lasts for another half an hour before a notification appears,

A spirit energy shockwave blasts the surroundings as Rex opens his eyes,
Rex’s eyes flash with black with yellow spots of lightning as he finishes upgrading his lightning element into the Ultimate Rank, but it didn’t stop there.
Under the gazes of the people that are marveling at this scene,
Devo’s cloudy body appears on Rex’s back but his body now doesn’t possess the regular lightning, but the new lightning that Rex possesses currently.
ROAR!!
The roar shook the place as Devo’s body vanishes again, its roar was imbued with True Lightning which sounds and feels dominating the surrounding gazes.
With that, both of Rex’s hands then strike black lightning to the ground.
Rex’s body then slowly descends down to the ground supported by the black lighting that now feels and emits a horrifying amount of mana.
He then lightly steps on the ground as the black lightning vanishes,
The new black lighting with yellow spots in it can’t help but put a smile on Rex’s face, even with his wounded body he still can crack a smile.
But feeling the gazes from the surrounding, Rex instantly deactivates the Berserker’s Curse.
Right after he did that, the wounds around his body creates a steaming sound as they all started to get healed at a visible rate leaving not even a scratch on Rex’s body.
Others are looking at him in awe as the smile stayed on Rex’s face,
