But this time it's quite hard to maintain his expression as he looks around with a hint of worry, 'Maybe three Sky Rupture at the same time is still out of my league', Rex thought.
Since he got stronger compared to before, Rex tries to use three Sky Rupture at the same time.
His heart is beating so fast because when the lightning bolts strike down, Rex was unable to control the trajectory completely.

Rex got lucky because the humanoid undead that Morana just healed is far enough from the army of Undead, if not he might just kill a couple of humans which will be his fault.

Hearing this, Devo was at a loss for words for a second, [I may be old but don't compare me to humans age, even adding another 20 thousand years to my age I still won't be as a moron as you]
Rex instantly suppressed Devo's consciousness making Devo's voice fade away.
He pulls his silver sword from Mother Gebbo before he walks around Mother Gebbo and stops right beside its head.
Mother Gebbo has become as weak as a baby,
Its head tilted towards Rex weakly, Mother Gebbo growls lightly that surprisingly has a hint of pleading on its tone as if it's asking Rex for mercy.
But seeing what Mother Gebbo did to the humans, Rex didn't have a heart for mercy.

While the system is calculating the reward, Evelyn approaches him with steady steps.
"So you use the purple orb to lure that undead out to save these people huh?", Evelyn mumbles as she looks at the people that are back on their own feet.
Rex nodded his head while also looking at the people,
Some of the people have missing parts of their bodies because of the Death Energy possessing them, some lost their eyes, some lose one of their legs, but it's all inevitable.
It's because of the possession of the Undead,
Amongst others, there are some that died even though Morana already healed them to the point that they should live albeit missing a few parts.
But more than half of them has already awoken and healed enough so they won't die,
'Asking Morana to heal them all completely including their missing body parts will be too much, they should be thankful for this much', Rex thought while eyeing the people that are starting to panic about their lost body parts.
Morana still needs to reserve her mana, maybe after finishing the quest she can help.
Especially since Rex just felt powerful death energy just now, it's coming from a couple of miles away from their position but it shouldn't be the seventh rank undead.
Seeing Rex's not paying attention to her, Evelyn sighed as she said, "Thank you"
Hearing this, Rex glance at Evelyn in confusion before Evelyn continues, "If not for you, the Death Ray will hit us and I don't know what I'll do if that happened"
Rex looks at her in confusion, 'She'll not die even if she gets hit by the Death Ray'
But then suddenly, Rex glance to his side and found Kevin that is sitting down on the ground while getting treated by Morana's spell.
"Kevin is the next head of the family, and I love him as much as I love Luke", Evelyn mumbles.
Her voice is slightly trembling as she recalls the Death Ray before, thinking of Kevin getting hurt makes her body jolt, "If anything happens to him, I- I..."
"Nothing will happen to him", Rex intervenes confidently.
Evelyn widen her teary eyes that can be seen through her helmet, she looks at Rex for a couple of seconds before he added, "Nothing will happen to you too"
The words that came from Rex's mouth turned Evelyn's cheeks red,
Rex can't see this through her helmet as Evelyn looks away blushing, she was putting her head down as her heart pounds faster like a war drum.
While Rex on the other hand turns his gaze around, 'I can't let anyone of them die'
'Sebrof will definitely take advantage of the years of serving under the UWO if any descendants die, by the looks of things I think I need more than just the ring', Rex thought.
Because the higher rank family was taken by Dray including the more powerful descendants.
The descendants on Rex's team are not as strong, many of them are early sixth rank with a couple that is still in the fifth rank realm and even one of them is still in the fourth rank realm.
Only Dray and the Metal Elementalist guy are in mid-sixth rank.
Evelyn is on the verge of a breakthrough to mid-sixth rank, but she's still an early sixth rank.
While Rex is thinking of how to assure the safety of the descendants, Evelyn on his side is playing with her feet thinking about what Rex said earlier which still disturbs her feelings.
But Rex is oblivious to this as he glances to the left and saw the other descendants.
The Sky Rupture spells of his are surely flashy,
The couple of descendants that are protecting Fordie along with Delta came to them, it makes Rex quite annoyed but he can't blame them.
"You shouldn't come here and just wait there", Rex said while unsheathing his silver sword.
The descendants look at the surroundings in surprise since the battle scars can be seen clearly, they were dazed for a moment before they focus back on Rex.
One of them, the woman using white fire earlier then replied, "It was my suggestion"
"I thought that you guys needed help, we saw the lightning spell the undead use and thought that you need a hand", the woman added.
But hearing this, Rex frowns, 'Undead lightning spell? Is she talking about Sky Rupture?'
"The one that cast them is not the Undead, but it's Rex's spell", Evelyn said from the side making the woman stiff, she was not expecting this.
With a wry smile, the woman then said, "Oh, It's my fault then..."

Not only does this is the first time the quest reward has been amplified, but the amount of reward that he got puts a smile on Rex's face.

Rex already told the other descendants to recuperate for about ten minutes before resuming their way to the northwest, some of them are tired so Rex decided to let them rest.
It's not their fault though since the zombies' numbers are overwhelming,
Dray, Evelyn, and the Metal Elementalist might just wipe them easily but the others can't, especially since the fat zombie appears which is a fifth rank Undead.

Rex is now sitting on the ground while leaning on a house wall, he's quite far from the others since the survivors are hectic but this makes it perfect for Rex to check the items.
He instantly takes the first item from the inventory, Gebbo Bone Essence.
Unlike what Rex expected of an item called Gebbo Bone Essence, what appeared in his hand is an ampule with a cream substance inside of it.
Without inspecting the appearance for too long, Rex then read the description.

The item is also another substance inside an ampule that is blitzing with unfamiliar lightning, Rex looks at this with great interest since this might evolve his lighting element.
<Absolute Hallowed Flo of Lightning>
This item is a type of holy water that is merged with an absolute holy lightning remnant for a long period of time which results in this item. This item will give not only holy energy to the one that uses it but also becomes familiar with the Hallowed Lightning element.
Reading this, Rex becomes ecstatic since the description makes it likely for this item to be used in upgrading his lightning into a higher rank element, 'Can I use this to upgrade my element?'
But Rex's ecstatic expression dimmed reading the system's answer,

Hearing this, Delta's eyes turns bright as she nodded her head repeatedly while wagging her tail like a dog as if she understand what Rex is saying.
With a smile, Rex then stands up, "Alright then, follow me!"
Rex and Delta walk towards the purple orb under the descendants' gaze.
They all are looking at Rex while resting,
Seve is also looking at Rex intently and he smiles when Rex glances at him and meets his eyes.
After arriving in front of the big purple orb, Rex then glance at Delta before he points at the purple orb, "You can eat this, go ahead don't be shy"
Growl!
Delta growls excitedly seeing Rex gives her permission to eat the purple orb.
'How will it fit in her mouth?', Rex thought in confusion, even with Delta's body the purple orb will not fit in her mouth since it's very big.
But before Rex let Delta try, "Here, eat this first"
Rex takes out the ten Gebbo Bone Essence that he got and also the Absolute Hallowed Flo of Lightning item, he signals for Delta to open her mouth and she obediently follows Rex's signal.
Delta opens her mouth before Rex poured all of the items into her mouth,
Upon tasting the item that Rex poured, Delta clamp down her mouth and smack her lips a couple of times, "It doesn't taste good is it?", Rex smiles wryly.
Just from Delta's expression alone, he knows that it doesn't taste good.
Rex then points back at the purple orb before Delta bit through the purple orb.

Death Energy instantly burst from the purple orb as Delta's fangs tore through it, this happened while the descendants are watching them from the sides.
The Death Energy got sucked into Delta's mouth fueling her with powerful energy.
Even Rex steps back from the ordeal while looking at Delta whose aura is getting stronger by the second, her aura started to near the sixth rank as her eyes turn white.
Aside from the Death Energy, white lightning started sizzling on her body.
It's the energy from the item Rex fed her before, and somehow the Death Energy got turned into holy energy instead after getting exposed to the white lightning.
CRACK!
Delta's eyes turn into white lightning as the ground below her cracked,
Then out of nowhere, lightning mana started to gather around her before encompassing her entire body just like a cocoon.
Rex and the descendants can't see Delta's body anymore,
While witnessing this scene, a smile crept on Rex's face as Delta's aura broke through the early sixth rank mark, 'Now that I think about it, this will definitely help me in keeping the descendants safe', Rex thought.
Although he's wearing the golden Ring of Tetuka,
Rex is still nothing but just one man, and he can't keep an eye on everyone aside from using his senses to feel if someone is in danger.
But with the addition of Delta, his task will definitely get easier.
"This aura that I'm feeling coming from the white cocoon, I wonder what will Delta looks like after finishing her evolution", Rex mumbles excitedly.
