Rex said with a normal smile as if what he just said was something good or natural, he lean his body back on the sofa while looking at Maurice straight in the eyes.
The silence was present for almost a minute,
The Platchi Family was not expecting this kind of request which stunned them to speak, they're looking at Rex with a blank expression as Rex waited for their answers.
After a moment, they snap out of their daze before Maurice's eyes flash in bloodthirst.
"You dare demand such a barbaric thing from our family?! Who do you think you are to demand such atrocity!", the woman shouted with veins bulging on her neck.
The woman's eyes are also reddened, "You came from a nameless family"
"Having a bit of power doesn't mean you can do anything you want, in terms of our political power, your kind of lowlife can't even be compared to us even if you're three times stronger!"
She's not accepting Rex's demand that she thought was out of proportion.
Maurice is the remaining child of the Platchi Family, the last next generation that will continue the Platchi Family in the future so this much is not acceptable.
There's no head family that is blind, they will be mocked and underestimated if that happened.
Hearing this, Rex's eyes then landed on the woman.
The woman's mouth was instantly shut upon receiving Rex's gaze, she turns meek instantly just from a glance of Rex's eyes that seems to stitch her lips together.
With the same smile, Rex then chuckles, "I'm a nobody huh?"
Unknown to the woman, not only does Rex have the favor from Vargas and even Sebrof that seems to want him working for the UWO. Rex also has the backing of the SCO, he's the one that realized this temporary alliance between the two.
If the Platchi knew, then they will vomit blood since Rex's political strength is ridiculous.
"Don't piss me off now, After Maurice gauge out both of his eyes it will be your turn next to prove sincerity so I can at least give you a chance to be trusted", Rex said turning the color of the woman's face into white.
Maurice glared at Rex before he shouted, "You dare lay a finger on my mother"
"I swear! I'll definitely bring y-", Before Maurice can even finish, Duncan stopped him while keeping eye contact with Rex who is smiling playfully.
Seeing this, Maurice then rebutted, "He won't be able to kill us with one strike"
"One of us can run away and tell the FAA or the UWO about this if he really tried to kill us, but he won't do anything stupid like killing us when the mission from the UWO is so close at hand even though he did something that can muffle sounds", he added whisperingly.
But when Duncan was about to answer,
"Maybe I'll need to do something about that son of yours", Rex suddenly said before suddenly,

The ground turn black as Rex activate his Black Field Orko spell, black lightning tentacles appear from the ground before they wrap Maurice's body like a snake pinning him on his spot.

Maurice tries to burn the black lightning tentacles,
But every time he manage to burn one black lightning tentacle, another one replaced the burnt one and this keep on repeating endlessly.
It's like Rex has infinite mana as the black lightning tentacle keeps this cycle.
Duncan and the woman panic when they saw this,

A katana flew past them before it grazes Maurice's cheek leaving a red line before stabbing on the wall behind them, Maurice was occupied by the black lightning tentacles resulting in him opened to any other attack.
He can't even react before a katana suddenly went past him.
Maurice's eyes widened before he looks to his back slowly and find a katana stuck on the wall.
All of his limbs are shackled by the black lightning tentacles, he can break free from the black lightning tentacles eventually but he could've just died right there!
"Do you still think I can't kill you easily?", Rex asks with fierce eyes.
Realizing that Rex is way stronger than Maurice who should be in the same realm as Rex, Duncan hurriedly said, "Stop! We understand!"
"Then get to it, I don't have much time", Rex replied while looking at the clock on his phone.
Duncan looks at Maurice before he looks back at Rex, "Both of them?"
"Yes, both of them", Rex said while crossing his leg into a figure 4 position again, he even put his cheek on his fist waiting for what the Platchi Family will do.
With a harsh gulp, Duncan walks slowly to Maurice who just got free.
Maurice looks at his father in horror as he coughs a couple of times since the black lightning tentacle before also restrained his neck, "F-Father you can't be serious!"
"Dear, Please think this again", the woman pleaded after seeing Duncan's determined look.
But when Duncan just points his sword to Maurice's eyes,
"I think you have the wrong idea about this", Rex suddenly said from the side.
This brings the three Platchis attention to Rex, "I told Maurice to gauge his eyes out if he's sincere, so let him do it himself"
"And don't use any weapon, I want you to use your bare hands", he added.
Chill crawl up the Platchi's spines as they heard what Rex demanded especially Maurice whose face is so white that he almost looks like a Vampire, it's already hard enough to use a sword and now Rex wanted him to take his eyes out with his bare hands.
Hearing this, Duncan's body froze before he look at Maurice with a troubled look.
Even under Duncan's pressure, Maurice is still reluctant to do what Rex demanded as he crawls back before his back hits the wall behind him.
"Choose either to gauge your eyes out or die...", Rex said adding more pressure to Maurice.
But seeing that his parents were not helping him but instead encouraging him to do what Rex wants, Maurice then shouted, "FUCK YOU!"

"RAARRRGGHHH!!", Maurice shouted after grabbing his eyes with his fingers.
The blood that comes out of his eyes is like a waterfall flowing down his face as he shouted in agony, the pain stopped his hand from pulling his eyes out.
His instincts are preventing him from pulling his eyes, even his hand turns weak because of it.
But he already poked his eyes forcefully so he can't just stop, Maurice then steeled his will before pulling his eyeballs and yanking them out of their sockets ignoring the pain.

Duncan and his wife look away unable to see the scene where their son turns blind.
"AARGHH!", Maurice shouted after he throw both of his eyeballs to his front, his eyeballs landed right in front of Rex as he look at this scene with calm eyes.
Unknown to them, Rex was quite surprised upon seeing this.
"THERE YOU GO FUCKER! I DID WHAT YOU TOLD!", Maurice shouted with his now hollow eyes.
Blood is flowing down his face from his eyes, it looks as if he's crying blood.
Feeling the throbbing pain after pulling his eyes out that are still stabbing him, Maurice covers his now hollow eyes before he uses his fire element to stop the bleeding.
It was painful as he groans in agony, but the bleeding really stopped.
'I thought he will run away or do something dumb, he's quite brave', Rex thought while nodding his head a little, he's surprised to find that Maurice has the gut to do this.
But this makes Rex sigh, his eyes then lit up as he look at the woman.
With a wide smile, Rex then said, "Now is your turn, take both of your eyes out"
"Haven't Maurice proven our sincerity?! Don't bring my wife into this!", Duncan rebutted with a hint of anger, he saw how terrified his wife is.
Hearing this, Rex scoffed, "Oh? Are you refusing?"

Rex suddenly turns into a streak of lightning and appeared in front of Duncan, his eyes are looking straight at Duncan's eyes with clear hostility.
Seeing this, Duncan was about to activate his spirit.

But then suddenly,

Rex landed a solid punch on Duncan's stomach as his spirit got erased instantly, 'What?! My spirit, What happened to it?', he thought in confusion.
Duncan tries to summon his spirit again to no avail,
It's like there's a shackle that kept his spirit from coming out, this never happened before.
Looking at this, the woman screamed and started running upstairs after realizing that Rex is not playing around with his demand on her.
But just after a couple of steps, the woman suddenly falls to the ground.
Rex tripped the woman before he grabbed the back of her neck and lifts her off the ground, there's a wide grin on his face, "I know you're not sincere", Rex said with an evil grin.
"I was about to put this on Maurice but you're fine", Rex added.
Duncan gets up before intending to tackle Rex with his body engulfed in fire, the fire that cloaked his body acts as armor amplifying his aura by a notch.
"Stay right there", Rex mumbles before his eyes flash with a red glint.

She's holding the back of her neck because it felt like burning.

"What did you do to her?!", Duncan shouted.
There are black linings that take a shape of a rabbit on the back of the woman's neck.
Hearing this, Maurice who is already blind probed around in confusion, "What happened! How could you attack my mother!!", he shouted while feeling Rex's mana to pinpoint Rex's location.
But his body is still stiff since the pain in his eyes still bothers him.
"Since she doesn't look sincere, her life is not in her discretion anymore", Rex said.
He then continues, "In about a month from now, her life will depend on the mercy of others. If I were you guys, I will definitely be good to Kyran and Adhara"
"That is if you don't want her to die"
After saying that, Rex takes his Amuerus Katana from the wall before he heads towards the exit of the house while Duncan and Maurice check on the woman.
Before Rex leaves, "And Maurice, you can heal one of your eyes. You earn it"

"Princess, I'm glad to see that you got out!", a Vampire wearing a maid uniform said excitedly after the maid saw that Calidora is in her room.
Calidora glances at the maid as the maid runs to her and hugs her.
Looking at this, Calidora accepts the maid's hug as she also hugs her back.
After embracing each other for a moment, the maid pulls back and asks, "How did you get out? King Solomon is not that easy to please especially since what you did before"
"As you can see, I'm back to normal again", Calidora replied with a bright smile.
Seeing this makes the maid teary as she can't believe Calidora is back to usual, the usual Calidora before she got the Vampiric Eyes that turns her into a crazed Vampire.
Raising her eyebrows excitedly, the maid then said, "Wait here, I'll bring you the freshest blood!"
The maid stands back up before she hurriedly walks out the room excitedly, but when she's just by the door Calidora suddenly calls her, "Lysa"
"Yes princess?", the maid, Lysa replied turning her body towards Calidora.
With a troubled look, Calidora then asks, "I heard that something terrible has happened to the Delarosa Family. Aunty Ana, Is she okay?"
Hearing this, the maid steps towards the bed again before sitting beside Calidora.
"Aunty Delarosa is not in a good condition, she met with the Alpha Werewolf in the Human Territory that turns out to have the blood of a Prince of Werewolf. She got injured badly, her throat is burnt and blistering as if she got poisoned and this puts her immobile on her bed", Lysa explained while shaking her head.
Calidora's eyes flash red activating her Vampiric Eyes,
But her eyes dimmed instantly when Lysa glanced at her, Lysa didn't notice that happened.
With a surprise mixed with a worried expression, Calidora widen her eyes while covering her mouth, "That's horrible, how can she fall into such a state"
The maid also sigh seeing Calidora's expression,
Lysa then added, "But Aunty Ana manages to capture the chosen one, the Origin will be pleased"
"Aunty Ana is very strong, of course, she will at least bring something back"

A crazed look appear on her face as she stare in a direction,
'I'm going to rip her throat, and takes back what's mine'
