Somewhere in the supernatural territory,
There is a woman wearing a red and black colored dress sitting in some kind of throne room, the throne room looks majestic especially with the red carpet and big chandelier above it. Her throne seat is between a big window that shows a city with almost no light except for torches, above the throne seat, lies an elegant man painting that seems to look down on everything.
The woman is holding a glass with a red substance in it, the devastatingly beautiful face, pale skin, and bloody smell can instantly tell that this woman is a vampire.
Creak!
The door opened slowly revealing two-man and a woman, they slowly approach the woman seating at the throne seat.
If Rex was here, he can immediately recognize the three vampires. These three vampires are the vampire who makes chaos during his field test.
After arriving in front of the woman, the three people kneel on the ground respectfully with Marta the closest to the woman.
The woman quirked up a smile, “I see you have successfully rescued Leon, send Leon to the battlefield to redeem his lost honor for being captured”
“Yes your highness, we manage to rescue Leon without any casualties. As for the latter, it will be done”, Marta replied while still bowing her head.
Queen Demelza wanted to dismiss them when suddenly she saw a scar that is still healing on Marta’s face.
“Who is it?”, Queen Demelza questioned.
“It is okay your highness, it is just a simple wound”, Marta replied, she didn’t want to bother Queen Demelza with such a minor problem.
Queen Demelza eyes glow bright red,
BOOM!
Her aura exploded sending waves of shockwaves around her, the aura that is covering her body is so thick that it almost looks like red flowing water.
“Do I have to repeat myself?”, she said with an authoritative tone.
Marta bows her head even lower until her forehead is touching the red carpet and said, “Mercy your highness! It is a high-ranking human, they call him General George”
Hearing this, Queen Demelza’s eyes flashed with killing intent, “A rank-seven Awakened dare to hurt my disciple? Let me teach him a lesson”
Queen Demelza walks elegantly towards the window with a glass in her hand, she sipped a little from her glass and reaches out with her other hands, “The languisher wail in joy as the siren came, before cries follow after the siren’s voice, Superior Sound Magic! Scream of Lost Siren!”
Queen Demelza eyes flash fiercely,
RAAHH!!
The window was destroyed as the red soundwave blasted away, a loud hollow scream was heard making the three vampires who are kneeling covers their ear in pain, their ear started to bleed under the Queen’s magic.
Soon, the sound faded away as the soundwave gets further away.
“My Queen, How did you manage to use Siren’s spell?”, Marta asks while still feeling fuzzy from the sound.
“HAHAHAHA”, Queen Demelza laughs, “The Siren’s Queen and I tried to learn each other’s magic in order to enhance our power, and to our surprise, we can!”
The three vampires were shocked, they lift their heads in disbelief, “Congratulation my Queen!”, they said in a union.
“Don’t worry, this is a turning point for the Supernatural. We will wipe the humans out!”, Queen Demelza said confidently.
Marta raises her head and asks, “Your highness, although you are an early rank eight, and I didn’t doubt your power but that magic can’t kill General George from this far”
Queen Demelza smiles evilly, “Who said I’m aiming for him?”
Strada City,
General George is eating while laughing with his comrade, the military men sing songs while drinking to their heart content in the main barrack.
To celebrate the return of General George, Strada City held an eating party for three days straight. The people of Strada City and the military men are happily cheering with each other.
When suddenly,
RAAAHH!!
General George jolted in shock, with the time he has left, he sent shockwave to push the people out of the barrack but it is too late.
BOOM!!
A red soundwave appear out of nowhere aiming at the barrack, the others didn’t even notice as the soundwave hit them.
Low ranking Awakened and normal citizen exploded into smithereens upon contact with the soundwave, one by one the people inside the barrack exploded.
General George makes a barrier around him to tank the soundwave but the power behind it greatly shocked him, he wanted to protect the people surrounding him but if he did the barrier will crack and they all will die so he condensed the barrier smaller letting the people on the side unprotected.
General George gritted his teeth, he can’t hold on much longer!
He takes out an exquisite black stone and destroys it, the stone gives black energy to the barrier that immediately repairs the cracks.
After thirty seconds or so, the soundwave ended as General George falls to his knee.
He looks at his surroundings to only see a destroyed barracks, the wall surrounding him was destroyed and human internal organs scattered everywhere.
Out of hundreds of people that gather inside the barracks, only twenty or so survived. The only ones that survived are the people pushed out of the way and two people closest to General George.
General George’s veins bulge, his eyes turn bloodshot, he ignored all the injury on his body and shouted with hatred, “SIRENS?! I’ll KILL YOU ALL!”
This event happened as Laura was hugging Rex,
The both of them separated after the constant yelling of both Rosie and Adhara, “Rex can I talk to you for a minute?”, Laura says with swollen eyes.
“NO! Absolutely not!”, Rosie intervene unwilling to let Rex get close to Laura.
Rex nodded his head to Laura, “I’ll go on a date with you if you let me talk to Laura”, he said to Rosie.
Rosie pouted and let Rex go,
Laura and Rex walk to a deserted alley, Rex is following Laura from behind with a wavering heart.
Laura then stops and looks at Rex, she takes a deep breath wanting to say something but the words stuck in her mouth.
She then steeled her heart and said, “I’m sorry”
Rex scratches his head, “Don’t, Let the past be the past. I’m not even mad at you”, he said truthfully.
Although Laura said those harsh words and grows more distant, in the end, she does all of that because she wanted Rex to not be too sad when she’s gone.
“But…all of those words, those curses surely hurt you at some point!”, Laura said sadly, tears started to fall from her eyes.
Rex smiles, “Although it hurts, I know you didn’t mean it after knowing your condition. You silly girl, I don’t need you to do all that for me”
Rex approach Laura, he patted Laura’s head and said, “For now, just wait as I cure your injury”
Hearing this, Laura’s heart flutters as her face blushed red, she didn’t know why but Rex seems to be dependable, “Thank you”, she said from the bottom of her heart.
Suddenly Laura remembers something, “How did you know how to treat my injury? and also How did you get so strong?”, she asks curiously.
Rex smiles mysteriously and answered, “That’s a secret”, he then walks back to the restaurant fearing Adhara and Rosie will get mad.
Laura stomps her feet in displeasure and unwillingly follows Rex,
Rex and Laura got back to the restaurant and saw Rosie and Adhara talking about something, they occasionally point at their phone.
He approaches them and asks, “What are you guys talking about?”
Rosie jumped in surprise, “Rex! Don’t be like that, I don’t know why but I can’t seem to sense your presence”, she said after slapping Rex on his shoulder.
“Sorry”, Rex smiles wryly
He then continues, “So? What is it?”
Rosie widened her eyes and said, “Look at this! The Strada City has been attacked by the sirens!”
Rex frowns, the news on Rosie’s phone showcases a video of General George with a haggard look in the midst of a destroyed barracks recalling what happened to the media, from the look of it, the attack is probably so powerful that even General George can’t defend his surrounding.
It also showcases the barracks that are full of humans inside, the girls wanted to throw up after looking at it but Rex seems unbothered by it.
“Rex? Why are you so calm looking at that gory video?”, Rosie said in shock.
Rex shrug his shoulders and replied, “I’m used to it, Don’t you remember? I’m from the military”
Adhara, Rosie, and Laura look at each other before shaking their heads.
“Can’t believe a high-ranking Supernatural, higher than General George attacks Strada City. What is their reason for that?”, Adhara said, she feels her body tingles when she remembered that she was there a couple of days ago.
Rex was deep in thought, ‘We were there a couple of days ago, and I’m sure there are no Sirens being held captive there. General George also describe that the Soundwave is red in color, different from the usual blue’
Then suddenly, Rex thought of a possibility that sent a shiver on his spine, ‘There’s no way! There’s no way another Supernatural uses Siren’s magic right?’
