"I killed them of course", Rex said ruthlessly.
The hostility, Hans see it radiating from Rex's body but for some reason, his danger sense is ringing upon feeling Rex's presence.
It was not like this before, Hans never really felt anything in front of Rex.
Although the incident where he's trying to give Adhara silver glass shows that Rex somehow has the power to rival him, it's still not enough to make him feel anything to Rex.
But right here and right now,
Seeing Rex leaning his body forward with a brutal look on his face makes him feel something, he can taste a slight fear as his heart started beating faster.
Rex somehow become a threatening presence in front of him,
With a clenched jaw, Hans then said as his expression turns neutral, "Killing Awakened from the 25 Golden Crest, it's a serious crime you're admitting"
Hearing this, Rex's smiles went even wider.
"Are you really saying that? Please, that's a pathetic threat", Rex replied.
After saying that, he then leans back before he looks around playfully, "I'm hoping to meet with Wesley, but I think he's too embarrassed to meet me"
"Besides, Daniel clearly shows his favor for me", he added.
Hans's mouth was closed shut as he takes Rex's sharp remarks,
Just by seeing Hans' reaction, Rex can tell that Hans knows that he just sparred with Dray upon the request from Daniel Burton.
'It's a good thing to be known', Rex thought gladly.
Thanks to the blue demons attacking his train and the cities that he saved from doing missions, his name manage to reach Daniel and it worked out somehow shutting the Atkins down.
If the Atkins tries to do anything, they're going to be extra careful.
Anything that happened to Rex or even those who are close to him will surely expose the Atkins easily with the current situation they had.
Daniel is also an intelligent man watching over his business empire,
Surely at some point, he will catch up to Rex's and Atkins's Family's problem.
It doesn't like the Atkins and Rex has a secret fight or anything, surely the incident where Rex creates a gap for the Sullivans to attack the Atkins family has already been known by now.
"I don't know what you're going to do to Adhara, but if you try to hurt her...", Rex said slowly.
CRACK!!
Rex's body burst with black lightning that is even stronger than before, his intelligence stats were increased for a bit and he can feel his mana stronger instantly.

"I'll treat you just like I treat the Platchi Family"
He then raises his gaze to glare directly at Hans' eyes who is now shocked by the amount of mana Rex is emitting, "Only this time, I'm not just going to let it go just like I did to the Platchi Family"
The bold statements that came from Rex's mouth were surprising to hear,
Even Hans was not expecting Rex to declare something like this head-on, it's like he considers the Atkins family a small family that he can easily walk over just like the Platchi.
Veins started popping out of Hans' face as he started to get angry,
His expression distorted angrily as he glared at Rex, this is unacceptable for him.
It's one thing to be mocked by a youngster, Hans didn't mind but this time Rex is mocking not only himself but also the Atkins Family.
Something like this, any youngsters just like Rex shouldn't have the guts to say that.
But Rex is threatening the Atkins family openly without any restrain, it's almost as if he's confident in taking on the Atkins Family even with all of its power.
"You just make a terrible mistake, Wesley will not like this", Hans said slowly.
In each of the words coming out of his mouth, there is a hint of malevolent intent as he squints his eyes with clear anger on his face.
After saying that, Hans turns to her back intending to leave.
Hans caught Evelyn looking at them from the back, he was surprised for a moment before he squint his eyes in thought as he turns around and walks away.
When he was just walking a couple of steps,
"I haven't finished yet"
BRAK!!
"AARGH!", Hans suddenly screamed when he felt something hit his leg.
With trembling eyes, Hans looks down to only find that his right knee was bending in an unnatural direction before he falls to the ground unable to keep his balance.
Thud!
"You! How dare you openly attacked me!!", Hans shouted angrily.
Although he knows that Rex is more powerful in terms of strength than him, Hans was not expecting Rex to break his knee with one kick.
BOOM!
Hans's body burst with powerful wind mana as he glares at Rex hatefully.
He even tries to activate his spirit knowing that Rex might do something more, but with a wave of Rex's hand Hans can't summon his spirit out.
It's like some chains restraining his spirit, and he can't do anything about it.
Rex approach Hans with a wicked smile before he squats in front of him, "You have the habit of leaving mid-conversation, I need to fix that bad behavior of yours"
Seeing Rex just attacked Hans right in a public place,
Evelyn ran towards Rex before she pulls Rex up from his squatting position,
After pulling Rex up, Evelyn pushes him back before she then looks at Rex's eyes in disbelief.
She then whispers in worry, "Why did you do that? Don't you know this act of yours will bring trouble to you AND those around you?!"
"This is a declaration of war! We can openly fight you if we report this to the UWO!", Hans shouted while holding his broken leg.
But Rex didn't seem to be bothered by it,
He ignores Evelyn's worried look as he looks at Hans who is glaring at him on the ground, "You can report this, I won't stop you. It'll make a great headline"
"Hans the right hand of Wesley Atkins was assaulted by the rising star Rex Silverstar"
With a nasty grin, Rex then adds mockingly, "How the Atkins Family has fallen, to actually be threatened by a student. So you can report this, but not that it matters since tomorrow is a big day"
Hearing this, Hans gritted his teeth as he glared at Rex.
If he really reports this to the UWO, the Atkins Family will be a laughing stock even if that will enable them to openly challenge Rex since he started it.
But this is just his opinion, he can't make this call for the Atkins Family.
Evelyn who saw Rex's nasty grins stand in front of Rex right between him and Hans, she puts her hand on Rex's chest holding him back.
"Hans, just leave before it got out of hand", Evelyn said.
With big reluctance, Hans support himself by leaning on the wall before he started walking away limply with great embarrassment.
The situation is not good for him, Evelyn just gives him a way out.
Before Hans disappear on the corner, Rex shouted one last time, "Consider this a message for Wesley"
After Hans left their sight,
Evelyn turns her head to look at Rex as she said, "What are you doing?"
"You're not stupid Rex! Because of what you did to Hans, you just gave them a legitimate reason for them to challenge you even under the UWO's supervision. It'll be a disaster! Think about those who are close to you!", Evelyn added angrily.
Although she seems to be angry, she was disappointed instead.
Rex calmly listen to Evelyn before he said, "That is exactly why I did this"
"I'm protecting those who are close to me, they won't stop until they manage to bring me down. So I'm sending a message, I want Atkins out of my back as soon as possible. Normal ways won't make them stop, so let's try the hard way", Rex replied.
Hearing this, Evelyn frowns, "They're a powerful family, aren't you scared?"
"If I were scared of the Atkins, I wouldn't have done that", Rex replied nonchalantly.
But this reply makes Evelyn realize something, "You're doing this because tomorrow is the alliance between the UWO and the SCO!"
"That's right", Rex said with a smile.
Aside from wanting the Atkins Family out of his back and also the fact that he will be on the offensive now, Rex's source of confidence came from the fact that in just a little bit the UWO and the SCO will be in an alliance.
If that were to happen the SCO can help Rex openly since they will be accepted now.
Although there's a chance the UWO will keep this a secret as a condition, the SCO will still be able to move a bit more freely than before with an equal level they will have with the UWO after they become allies.
Because of that, Rex will not need to be afraid of the Atkins Family anymore.
"Huh... Let's just go back", Evelyn mumbles while shaking her head.
It seems she can't properly predict Rex just like any other, his movement is overbearing and unpredictable, it's unpredictable for her at least.
The next day,
Sunlight started to penetrate the white curtain giving light inside a hotel room,
"Ughh...", Adhara wakes up from the bed feeling her body sore.
She was unconscious through the whole night even after her internal wounds caused by the Sacrificial Energy has been healed way before when Rex scanned her body with the system.
Adhara's head feels heavy and her throat is dry,
Right in front of her, Adhara saw bottles of water lined neatly on the desk.
It's the hotel water bottle and without thinking much, Adhara takes off the blanket that covers her body before she takes the bottle opened it, and started chugging it.
The thirst that she's feeling was starting to be satisfied as she takes another bottle.
While she's chugging her second bottle, Adhara turns her body around and she then puts the bottle back on the desk after the last drop went into her mouth.
"Where am I?", she mumbles after realizing that she felt the room is unfamiliar.
But then suddenly, "Emmhh..."
A soothing moan penetrates Adhara's ears making her frown, her eyes then landed on the bed before she saw a woman wearing a white shirt and black underwear.
Her silky smooth thighs were not covered by the blanket,
The black thong that she's wearing is eye-catching, it makes even Adhara blush.
It's too sexy for someone to wear something like that,
Adhara averted her gaze at the woman who is sleeping soundly before her eyes land on a man lying topless beside her, the woman is lying on his side with her thigh on top of the man's stomach.
It took Adhara a couple of moments before she realized what she was seeing,
"REX!!", She shouted upon realizing that the man lying on the bed is Rex with Evelyn by his side, it freaked Adhara the hell out as she saw Rex sleeping comfortably on the bed.
Hearing Adhara's scream, Rex jolted from his sleep as he summon his katana from the inventory
"Adhara? What happened?", Rex asks while holding the katana in his hand.
Since he just broke Hans' leg, it's obvious that Rex needs to be careful lest they take drastic measures to attack him right away that's what explains Rex's reaction.
While Rex is looking at Adhara's face that is starting to turn hideous by the second.
He then realized that something soft and plum pressing on his stomach,
Rex's eyes then looks down and suddenly saw Evelyn sleeping soundly with her exposed silky leg on top of his stomach, even Evelyn's beautiful face was right beside him.
The white shirt even surprises Rex, 'Is that the shirt I wore yesterday?', he thought.
Upon realizing the situation he's in, Rex looks back at Adhara with a wry smile, "I can explain"
"I just told you to not meet with her again, but here you are sleeping on the same bed with the woman that I specifically told you to keep your distance", Adhara mumbles with a trembling voice.
The anger in her was threatening to explode as she clenched her fists.
But then suddenly, "Why are you two so noisy early in the morning?", Evelyn wakes up from her sleep while rubbing her eyes yawning.
"Can you lie down again, It's more comfortable to use you as a pillow", she added.
Rex was eyeing Evelyn trying to signal for her to stop, he's hinting that Adhara is currently glaring at her and a murderous aura started to fill the air.
While getting off the bed, "Calm down, it's not what it looks like", Rex said slowly,
"Not what it looks like my ass!!"

Meanwhile,
Early in the morning, Edward can be seen walking on a street wearing a black hoodie.
There are many people walking past him since it's a busy morning, he walks along with the crowd of people before he turns left straight into a cemetary.
It was not a normal cemetery since FAA and the military can be seen guarding it.
Edward went straight into the cemetery after getting his body checked by the FAA,
Only a handful of people can be seen inside the cemetery as far as Edward's eyes can see, this is a special cemetery so not many people visited this place.
The cemetery was filled with golden tombstones lining up neatly,
A couple of feet of space is the gap between one tombstone and the next one, and there's a name and a pot of red lily flower in front of the tombstone. There are at least a hundred tombstones in this cemetery, and Edward stopped in front of a particular tombstone in the middle of the cemetery.
After arriving in front of the tombstone, Edward kneel before changing the lily flowers,
Edward changed the pot of lily flowers with a fresh one that he bought, he did it willingly with the utmost respect on his face while doing this.
He then stands up after changing the flowers before looking at the tombstone,
The sunny day turns into a sunny somber day thanks to the gloomy vibe from Edward.
In front of this particular tombstone, Edward's whole demeanor changed as he look at the carvings on the tombstones with sad eyes.
"I'm coming to ask for advice", he mumbles.
Edward takes a huge breath feeling the sun on his skin before he added, "You're the only person that comes to mind since you're also one of the few that he considers his friend"
While looking at the tombstone, Edward's expression started to become unstable.
It can be seen clearly that he's holding back his tears before his leg gave out and kneel in front of the tombstone, the words that he had in mind were hard to say.
But it didn't take long for tears burst from Edward's eyes,
"It's okay for me to know this, I accept the fact that he's not the same anymore. He changed..."
Edward started sobbing while still trying to hold back his tears, "But I can't throw the fact that if you were alive you wouldn't be fine with this, you would've punched him in the face"
"I'm sorry for being a messenger of bad news but, he changed..."
"What should I do? I don't know what to do, and I don't know where else to go"
"Please help me Kyle...."
