"It seems I got here in time...", the man said facing the cold Vampire.
This behemoth of a man makes the ground tremble whenever he steps, he was more of a monster than a man just from the sheer size of his body.
"King!", the messengers shouted at the same time.
The huge man that just arrived was none other than the head of the SCO, also known as the King that Rex only met once prior to the plebe trial.
No one can make Rex's eyes hurt just by scanning someone's stats,
One of the people that manage to do that is the King of the SCO, the other person that manages to do that is the principal of Ochyra University.
Hearing his name getting called, the King glance at the messengers.
From the looks of it, the messengers got beaten by these Vampires which makes the King chuckles surprisingly, "Oh? You guys actually got beaten?"
Swoosh!
Both messengers leaped towards the King as they all face the Vampires.
The Vampire that got tossed by the King has already come back, but its arm was torn off because of getting gripped by the King.
It was very terrifying as Liliya saw this,
She just snapped out of her daze and find that the Vampire that was about to grab her has a missing arm, she concluded that it was the King's doing.
To think that the King can tear off a powerful Vampire's arm just like that,
"Thank you...", Liliya mumbles as she kneels on the ground, this makes the King waves his hand with a smile since it's not a big deal for him.
After waving his hand, the King then looks back to the front.
"We didn't got beaten yet, the Blood Bunya just catches us off guard", the Red Messenger said unwilling to admit that he got bested by a Vampire.
The Green Messenger then added, "What are you doing here?"
"Didn't you just tell me to make this happen with only the army that you gave? What makes you come all the way here?", the Green Messenger added curiously.
When he told the King about Rex's plan before,
It was easy for the Green Messenger to make the King agree since it will also benefit the SCO, but the King told him that he would need to help Rex on his own with the army he gave.
But here he is now, saving Liliya from the Green Messenger's mistake.
The King looks at the Green Messenger before he said, "You know, finding that my laziest messenger tries to actually do something. I just need to see it with my own eyes"
This makes the Green Messenger widen his eyes in surprise,
"Then why don't just help me from the start?!", the Green Messenger said annoyingly, if he knows the King will help then this will all be a piece of cake for them.
Hearing this, the King laughs loudly startling the Red Messenger.
Just from the looks of it, the Red Messenger knows that the King and the Green Messenger have somekind of special relationship, even Liliya noticed that from the back.
"Who in the hell are you?!", the cold Vampire shouted while pointing at the King.
No matter how nonchalant the King is even when he's laughing, both Vampires are rooted on the ground even though this should be the perfect opportunity to strike.
The King is wide open as he talked leisurely with the messengers,
But both Vampires can sense that if they were to do something, they will instantly die without knowing how just from the aura the King emitted.
Although the King is laughing with his eyes closed,
The Vampires can feel an eye still looking at them, it makes their senses alert for some reason.
After laughing for a moment, the King then glance at both Vampires before he said slowly, "I am what you call a humble passerby"
"Stop bulshitting! State your identity!", the cold Vampire shouted again.
Hearing what the cold Vampire said, the King's expression suddenly changed as he slowly look at the cold Vampire's eyes with a crazed look.
This makes the cold Vampire's body jolt in surprise,
"Did you just curse at me?", the King said slowly as if he was in disbelieve.
The weird reaction makes the cold Vampire grit his teeth as he steps back unconsciously, then suddenly he noticed the Vampire beside him was all silent as he glance at the Vampire.
"Why are you touching your arm for!", he said angrily.
Since the Blood Bunya is still active, the Vampire beside him should've been able to recover his arm just with a thought but the cold Vampire saw him holding his arm absent-mindedly.
With a pale expression, the other Vampire then said, "I-I can't!"
"What do you mean you can't! Just channel the blood energy to your arm!", the cold Vampire scolded frustratedly since they were quite in a pinch.
But then, his eyes widen when he saw the Vampire try doing it.
Swoosh...
Blood energy swirls around the missing arm but to the cold Vampire's surprise, the blood energy got dispersed forcefully by an unknown force.
His expression then also turns pale, he then glances at the King with wide eyes.
"Don't tell me, it's his doing...", the cold Vampire mumbles while looking at the King in fear.
If Rex were here right now, his Bleak Sense would surely show that these two Vampires are emitting immense fear from their bodies upon looking at the King.
The King was fiercely glaring at them making the surrounding air turns cold,
It was just like realizing that an apex predator is already setting its sight on them, the cold air makes them gulp harshly.
"W-We need to retreat"
The cold Vampire started walking back as he can feel the bad omen brushing his neck.
So do the other Vampire as he forcefully close his wound and started stepping back, the King still has his eyes fixated on them just like an apex predator.
Before they knew it, both of their legs has already started to run.
Even when their minds are not set on fleeing, their bodies already made the decision for them as they can't stand standing under the King's gaze.
"What the heck is that thing!", the other Vampire said while flapping his wings away.
The cold Vampire shakes his head in fright as he too never saw that thing before, it was horrifying but thankfully the King seems to not chase after them but then suddenly,
BURST!
"HUAKHH!"
A grunting sound can be heard as the cold Vampire looks to his side,
His eyes then widen in shock when he saw the other Vampire's chest get penetrated by a huge arm, the arm was so thick that it tore a literal hole in the other Vampire's chest.
The other Vampire looks at the cold Vampire weakly as the King grabbed his heart.
Splash!
Blood splurted out as the King pulls his arm out of the other Vampire's chest, the heart was pulled out before being crushed in one swift motion.
This puts the Vampire in a shocking state, and before he knows it, he's already falling.
Just like that, a seventh rank Vampire died.
Anna who ignited Rex's rage was also a seventh rank Vampire, and to think a powerful Vampire like that was toyed with and killed by a person easily was almost like a dream.
It was also just like a dream for the old Vampire,
He was still can't believe that he didn't even sense the King appearing and killing his friend, and the quickness of the event makes him feel the situation is surreal.
Not only the King is dangerous, he even can block the supposed immortality given by the Blood Bunya using some unknown methods.
As if the King knows everything about Vampire,
After getting his head gripped by the King, the cold Vampire finally comes back to his senses as he widens his eyes trying to make the King let go of him.
"You... You just cursed at me did you?", the King asks again.
Hearing this, the cold Vampire didn't answer as he gathers heavy blood energy as much as he can trying to break free but the King's grip is unmoving.
It was rock solid, the King's hand can't be shrugged off even with this much blood energy.
"LET GO!!", the cold Vampire shouted trying to turn his body to liquid, but just when he was about to do that something blocked him from turning into his liquid blood form.
He then looks down and saw there was a small puncture hole in the middle of his chest,
"H-He stopped my skill mid-way? He knew how to stop my skill?", the cold Vampire mumbles as he looks at the hole in his chest in surprise.
Seeing this, the King smiles, "I can see through your skill..."
"This eyes can see the circulation of any energy, and with these eyes, I also know how to cancel that circulation just like that...", the King added giving the cold Vampire goosebumps.
The cocky look was long gone from the cold Vampire's face,
All one can see right now is imminent fear upon the King who is holding the cold Vampire's head with his huge hand, the cold Vampire's head looks tiny in comparison.
"J-Just who are you...", the cold Vampire mumbles.
Hearing this, the King's smiles grow wider before he started putting his strength on his grip. The cold Vampire tries to make the King let go with veins bulging on his arm until suddenly,
SPLAT!
The cold Vampire's head burst like a watermelon under the King's grip.
Nothing changes to the King's expression as he just killed an eight rank Vampire like killing a chicken, something this caliber should make the media go crazy if known.
It's not a regular thing to find someone toyed with an eighth rank Vampire,
But nevertheless, the King did so as he walks back to the messengers, "So? Where is the next target?", he said nonchalantly.

The next day,
Rex already changed to his newly bought tuxedo that Stuart bought just for today's occasion.
Because he never asked for any new tuxedo to wear, Rex asks Stuart why did he buy this tuxedo but the reply makes Rex quite annoyed with him.
He said that there were no formal clothes that he had worthy of the 25 Golden Crest banquet.
So as the good butler of the house, Stuart has the initiative to buy Rex new sets of formal clothes that he can pick and wear for the Banquet this night.
Rex looks at the mirror and inspected himself,
Although he didn't ask for this, he admit that Stuart's taste suits Rex very well.
The black tuxedo hugged his body tightly adding an elegant taste to his appearance, his suit pocket has steel ornaments decorating it and also a steel pin on his black tie. Rex felt quite tight on the vest since Stuart guessed Rex's size, but it's still good overall despite the tight vest.
Adhara who is playing with her phone on the bed even steal glances at him,
It was clear that Rex with his black tuxedo looks good, Adhara's eyes tries to look at him without Rex noticing state that clearly.
Rex saw Adhara stealing glances before he sigh, "Are you sure you don't want to come?"
"No, you can go by yourself I'm going to prepare my body to assimilate with a spirit", Adhara replied plainly going back to playing with her phone.
Hearing this, Rex sighs since he can't force Adhara to come.
Especially since he will be going with Linda whom he promised, so he's going to pick her up right now before going to the banquet.
Rex tidy his tie before he said, "I'm going now"
"Just before the full moon, I want you to check on Kyran can you do that for me?", Rex asks since he won't be able to check on Kyran later.
He will be having fun tonight,
With the Atkins problem gone thanks to Adhara, Rex can't wait to meet with Wesley Atkins there and rub this all over his face.
Adhara then replied shortly, "Yes"
After hearing Adhara's answer, Rex takes red chalk that he bought in preparation before he bid Adhara goodbye, "I'll be off! If you change your mind just come to the banquet"
The door opened and closes as Rex left the room,
With Rex out of the room, Adhara felt the silence covering the room as she puts down her phone.
Since they're not on speaking terms because of what happened that night, Adhara is still unwilling to talk to Rex as she sighs, "I'm ridiculous", she mumbles helplessly.
Meanwhile, Rex got out of his room heading towards the principal office.
All eyes are attracted to him as he plays with her sleeves feeling the good mood, "25 Golden Crest Banquet, Here I come!"
