‘It’s the creature from last time!’, Rex screamed in realization after seeing the huge silhouette in front of him that appear from the ground.
Now that he saw the creature in front of him, Rex remembered the last time he’s here.
After going inside the temple, the system gave Rex a quest to beat the three guardians to get an extra reward before getting the Carabidis Gem and finishing his Pack Quest.
He then followed the light inside the temple and find himself in front of the huge gate.
There’s a hurricane symbol on the huge gate that catches Rex’s eyes, and when Rex popped his head inside to peek, he saw this creature that now is in front of him!
Adhara and Kyran look at the creature in front of them in shock.
The creature in front of them is like the embodiment of sand, its lower half is completely made of swirling sand while the top half is humanoid but the creature has no face at all.
Only a set of red eyes lies on its face, the rest of its face is completely flat.
Rex scans the creature with the system before he gritted his teeth,

Looking at the stats, Rex was quite shocked by the ridiculous amount of strength.

Right after he scans the Sand Elemental in front of him, the three big cats that are supposed to be at the entrance suddenly lunge in front of them.
The three big cats stand beside the Sand Elemental with their fierce claws on display.
By the looks of things and how the Sand Element reacts to their arrival, Rex realized that these three big cats will fight alongside the Sand Element.
Rex then looks to the side and saw the mutated wolf got impaled by the sand spikes.
With nobody to help the mutated wolf, it got impaled easily since it’s only a low-rank creature that doesn’t hold a candle in front of the Sand Elemental.
Although their story is not much, Rex slightly feels pain looking at the dead mutated wolf.
He then glance back at the four creatures in front of them before he said, “You guys take care of the mutated wolf, I’ll try to fight that thing”
Hearing this, the others nodded their heads as they went into their battle stance.
Even Delta prowl deeper baring her fangs as she fixated her eyes on one of the big cats that are also looking at her with full hostility.
“Let’s go!”
CRACK!!!
The ground cracked as Rex jumped towards the Sand Elemental like a maniac.
After Rex’s signal,
The others also follow behind him, they all pick their big cats to fight with as their bodies glow with different colors.
BOOM!
Rex’s fist glows with a yellow hue as he activated his Force Beam, his arm muscle contracted as he drives his fist towards the Sand Elemental.
Swoosh!
“What?!”, Rex widened his eyes, his fist went through the Sand Elemental.
The Sand Elemental can’t be touched by his fist as the momentum pushes him through the Sand Elemental, but before he landed on the ground, a sand spike blasted from the ground threatening to impale him.
By twisting his body in the air, Rex manages to dodge the sand spike by a hair’s length.
He then landed on the ground before looking back at the Sand Elemental as his battle spirit got riled up, “Then let’s try this!”
BLITZ!
Rex’s body cracked with black lightning as stretched his hand up and summon a lightning strike.
BOOM!
The Sky Rupture spell landed directly on the Sand Elemental but just a fraction of a second after the Sand Element creates a sand barrier around its body.
But Rex saw that his black lightning hurt the Sand Elemental for quite a bit.
Parts of the Sand Elemental turns black because of the Sky Rupture spell, and from the way it glares at Rex, it’s certain that the Sky Rupture spell hurt it.
“Spell work on it!”, Rex mumbles as he tries to conjure another Sky Rupture.
The Sand Elemental feels another disturbance of mana from above, and in response to Rex’s attack, its body got sucked into the ground and disappears.
BOOM!
Because of that, the Sky Rupture missed as Rex looks around cautiously.
The Sand around him rumbles because of the Sand Elemental, it’s like a creature under the sand moving around creating a track wherever it goes.
Rex’s eyes darted left and right before suddenly, his legs got grabbed by something.
Before he can do anything in response, the Sand Elemental grip Rex’s leg before it is tossed Rex to the side crashing to the temple’s wall.
BOOM!
A web-like crack appeared as Rex’s body crashed into the temple’s wall.
While Rex is fighting with the Sand Elemental, the others also are currently fighting against their own big cats.
Roar!
The big cats that are fighting Delta have many injuries as the fights go on.
It’s a brawl between two animals and their fights are brutal, the biting marks and claw marks that are the sign of their brutal fight can be seen on both of their bodies.
But Delta’s body has a little fewer injuries than the big cats.
Thanks to the force barrier that is surrounding her, this helped her in blocking light scratches.
In contrast to Delta’s fight, Kyran’s fight is the other way around.
Kyran was pushed around by the big cat fighting him because of their gap in power.
The big cat’s strength is evidently stronger as every time Kyran clashes against the big cat, he’s the one that got pushed back instead.
Boom!
“Arghh!”, Kyran grunted as he got flung to a tree on his back.
He glances at the charging big cat that is full of bloodlust before he rolls on the ground to dodge the charging big cat.
Crash!
The tree got uprooted from the ground as the big cat crashed onto it.
Nasty claw wounds can be seen around Kyran’s body as his breathing becomes heavy, some of the wound lets out thick yellow pus as the venom on the big cat’s fangs takes effect.
This drains his stamina greatly although the wound is recovering at a visible rate.
Kyran looks at the growling big cat before his eyes lit up realizing something, “I don’t need to fight it head-on, let’s try the way Edward did”, he mumbles as his gaze becomes different.
The big cat’s lounge towards him menacingly but this time, Kyran’s body got engulfed by the darkness as he dodge the attack easily.
With a quick move of his hand, Kyran manages to slash the big cat with his dagger.
It slashed the big cat’s side, and although the wound is not deep it’s still a start as Kyran begins the taste of victory.
Growl!
The big cat turns its body and attacks Kyran again.
But with the new fighting style that he just decided on, he started to avoid the big cat’s frontal attack and turn to dodge it instead.
Numerous slash wounds started to appear around the big cat’s body.
In a fit of anger, the big cat swings its huge claws to Kyran who is already on its back powerfully after realizing the pattern that Kyran uses.
Kyran’s new fighting style consists of dodging and attacking from the big cat’s blindspot.
Although the big cat is just an animal, it can learn Kyran’s fighting style and counter with a slash to the back instead of to the front.
Looking at this, a determined look appears on Kyran’s face.
The slash looks off balance because how the big cat has to rotate its body fighting against its momentum forcefully, and this will result in a weaker attack.
Realizing this, Kyran raises his leg, “Block what you’re able to…”, he mumbles.
BAM!!
Kyran’s foot was able to block the big cat’s attack as the slash got stopped mid-track, this surprised the big cat as it didn’t expect Kyran who is weaker in terms of strength can block its attack like this.
With a smile on his face, Kyran pushed the claw away with his leg and swing his dagger.
Stab!
ROAR!!
The big cat roared painfully as Kyran manage to stab its right eye with his dagger, blood started to leak out of its eyes as it stumbles around in pain.
“It worked!”, Kyran mumbles in delight before his smile turns into a vicious smile.
Turning to the other side of the battle,
Adhara is also fighting against one of the big cats, and based on their clashes their strength seems to be equal but Adhara’s speed is dominating the fight.
Swoosh!
The fiery daggers dances around the dim-lighted place turning the surrounding to purple.
While she dodges the big cat’s attack like a dancer, Adhara also is thinking about something as she instinctively dodges every of the big cat’s attacks.
“Aim for vital parts”, Adhara mumbles as her eyes landed on the big cat’s belly.
Roar!!
The big cat leaped towards Adhara with the huge claws aiming at her, any normal human that saw this scene would be scared but not for Adhara.
With a glint of her eyes, Adhara also dashes towards the big cat.
Just when the claws were about to connect, she ducked down and slides with her knees completely dodging the big cat’s attack.
And during this little gap, Adhara is under the big cat.
The fiery daggers burn even brighter as Adhara thrust them to the big cat’s belly, the dagger cut through the skin easily like butter.
ROAR!
Feeling its belly gets stabbed, the big cat wail in agony.
Swoosh!
The surrounding sand started to swirl around the big cat as its body disappear and reappeared on Adhara’s side.
Looking at this, Adhara was quite surprised.
Turns out the big cat is able to use somekind of spell that can teleport it using the sand, it’s quite a powerful spell but it’s probably too late.
Adhara glance at the big cat and saw the puddles of blood beneath it.
Because of how clean and deep the stab was, the big cat started to bleed out and its body started to get weak because of how much blood it’s losing.
“Let’s wrap this up”, Adhara mumbles swinging her daggers around.
But then suddenly,
SWOOSH!!
BOOM!!
A figure flew past Adhara before a huge crashing sound was heard.
The mutated animals that are surrounding this place started to notice the fights, especially since the loud crashing sound reverberated to the surrounding.
All of the mutated camels run away, while other predator mutated animals started to close in.
Adhara looks around and finds that the place started to be crowded as the mutated animals are closing in, she then glances at the crashing sound and realized that it’s Rex that got sent flying away.
“Rex!!”, Adhara shouted from afar.
Hearing his name getting called, Rex lifts up his head before he mumbles, “Although my spell connected, it’s not very effective against the Sand Elemental”, Rex then stands up with bruises around his body.
“Rrghh…”, Rex grunted while holding his right arm that got a nasty bruise on it.
He then glances to the Sand Elemental with a troubled expression, “Its strength is ridiculous, every hit is like a truck”, he mumbles in pain.
While Rex is standing up, Adhara glance to the side as she felt something monstrous.
But when she glanced to her right, Adhara steps back subconsciously as she saw the Sand Elemental that is glaring at them with its red eyes.
It’s still the same Sand Elemental, but what makes her so surprised is the changes.
Different from what it looks like before, now the Sand Elemental is more muscular with a stabbingly powerful aura that emits out of it.
Swoosh!
The Sand Elemental approached them slowly as its body towers over all of them.
Even Kyran and Delta got distracted from their fight as the Sand Elemental becomes even more eye-catching, they gasped when they saw the Sand Elemental.
Aside from its now threatening being, the Sand Elemental now has four arms…
