Rex finds a spot not far from where they landed, It’s a small building that he saw on his right.
The weird thing is the small building is like a mini pyramid located on the corner of the place, the entrance of this small building has no door on it.
But there is a fire symbol above the entrance to this little pyramid that looks ordinary.
After entering the small pyramid, Rex finds that the inside is square-shaped.
There’s nothing inside except a square-surfaced perfectly carved rock that lies in the middle, it has drawings around it with a weird pattern on each side.
“Just what the hell is this place”, Adhara said while getting inside too.
With the addition of Adhara inside, the small place becomes cramped as the room they have to walk around is limited.
Rex look at the square-surfaced rock, he saw that there’s another little pyramid on it.
It’s located in the middle of the rock’s surface and it’s black in color, the black color makes it stand out with the brown sandy color on the surrounding.
Adhara also saw this little pyramid too,
She stretches out her hand to touch the pyramid and saw that there’s transparent energy on it.
The energy is crystal blue in color and it hovers around the small black pyramid, it stretches onto Adhara’s hand when her hand got close to it.
Looking at this, Adhara becomes curious, “What is this?”
“Don’t touch that, we don’t know what that energy is”, Rex reminded while looking at Adhara.
But Adhara then said while still playing with the crystal blue energy as it lingers around her fingers, “I don’t feel anything from this energy”, she mumbles.
After shaking his head, Rex stepped out of the small pyramid.
Delta is standing on guard in front of the small pyramid, she can feel other mutated animals wanting to go over here but thankfully they’re on the corner-most place.
The mutated animals didn’t hover this far from the temple.
While Rex is waiting for Kyran, his eyes then suddenly landed on something.
He saw a glowing light that came from his left, it picked his attention just now as the glowing light got covered by the big tree on his left.
But after going to the small pyramid, the big tree didn’t block the glowing light anymore.
Looking at this, Rex frowns as he gives a signal for Delta to wait here before he dashes to the glowing light direction on his left.
With the current power that he had, sneaking through the mutated animals is easy.
Rex slipped past all of the mutated animals that are around him easily, he then arrives close enough to see the source of the glowing light.
‘Another pyramid?’, Rex thought with a frown.
Upon closer look, Rex saw that the glowing light came from another small pyramid.
This small pyramid is identical to the small pyramid that they just found earlier.
The difference between the first one and this one is that this one is glowing with a sandy color light with a symbol just above the entrance.
Rex squint his eyes and saw that the symbol is a wind-shaped symbol.
After noticing the symbol, Rex frowns as he looks at the wind-shaped symbol, ‘Why did that symbol look familiar’, he thought.
But even after thinking for a moment, he didn’t know why the symbol looks familiar.
Not wanting to check inside the small pyramid lest it’s a trap, Rex goes back to the others quickly fearing that Kyran has already come back.
Reaching where Adhara and Delta are, Rex saw that Kyran is still not here.
“Where were you?”, Adhara asks after coming out of the small pyramid.
Hearing this, Rex points at the glowing light on his back and replies, “I just checked that out, it’s the same as this building but it’s glowing”
Adhara looks at the glowing light in confusion.
They then rest in front of the small pyramid while waiting for Kyran.
Meanwhile,
After leaving Rex and the others, Kyran follows the mutated wolf on the back as the mutated wolf runs in the temple’s direction.
With the dark element cloaking his presence, Kyran can follow the mutated wolf easily.
Many of the mutated animals glance at the mutated wolf nonchalantly, but none of them expect or even see a shadowy figure following behind the mutated wolf.
Not long after, the mutated wolf stopped near the entrance.
Kyran also stops near the entrance of the temple, he’s currently looking around from above the tree as to not notify the mutated animals.
In front of him lies the temple entrance with the three big cats guarding it.
Two huge statues lie on each side of the temple’s entrance magnificently, they make the big cats look small in comparison.
The statues are statues of a human with a cat head.
Black daggers are held in the left statue’s hands, while the right statue held black khopesh swords on each of its hands that look sharp.
After checking the entrance of the temple, the mutated wolf resumes.
Kyran follow the mutated wolf as it dashes to the left side of the temple,
One of the big cats in front of the temple’s entrance turns its head towards the running mutated wolf, it squints its eyes for a moment as the mutated wolf disappears to the left side of the temple.
Passing a couple of mutated camels and scorpions, they arrived at the left side of the temple.
The mutated wolf stopped in front of the crack on the left side of the temple, Kyran approach the crack before he popped his head inside and look at the insides of the temple.
“It’s very dark…and what are these writings”, Kyran mumbles in awe.
Just by peeking inside the temple, he can already tell that the temple is very old and the writings on the wall are very ancient and mysterious.
After confirming that the crack is still there, Kyran then suddenly frowned.
He looks at the crack on the temple before he mumbles, “I think Delta won’t fit, let’s just crack it some more so she will fit”
Crack!
Crack!
Kyran pounds the crack while simultaneously trying to make as little sound as possible.
Because the temple wall is already cracked, making the crack bigger is an easy task as the crack crumbles like a crust under Kyran’s pummeling.
But then suddenly,
Swosh…
Instantly, Kyran’s body got engulfed by the darkness as he blended in the dark.
Because he’s currently not training and is inside an unknown place, he’s all the time cautious making his reaction time very fast.
It just takes a second as Kyran blended with the dark again.
While looking around cautiously from the dark, Kyran looks to his back trying to find what causes the sandy sound that he heard just before.
He thought that some mutated animals were about to jump on him.
“I swear it’s from that direction”, Kyran mumbles as he looks at the place just beside the lone mutated camel in front of him.
Although he didn’t know what makes that sound, he know that it didn’t come from the camel.
But even after waiting for a moment, Kyran found nothing.
Deciding that waiting here for too long is not a good idea, Kyran glance at the crack and finds that it’s big enough before he and the mutated wolf go back to Rex and the others.
Unknown to both of them,
The sand around the area that Kyran was suspicious about started moving as soon as he left.
Not long after, Kyran and the mutated wolf got back.
“So? How was it?”, Rex asks while folding his arms in front of him.
Hearing this, Kyran then reported what he found from his scout, “The crack is still there and I already make it a bit bigger so that Delta can fit in, and as for the entrance, the big cats are still guarding there and it seems they won’t move anytime soon”
Rex nodded his head, he was about to devise a plan but then he saw Kyran’s troubled expression.
“What is it?”, Rex asks again.
Kyran snapped out of his thought before he replied, “I don’t know why, but I just feel like something is looking at me but I don’t know what”
But upon hearing this, Rex started to frown.
‘Kyran has amazing sense, if he senses something then it’s safe to assume that there really is something spying on him’, Rex thought as he looks around warily.
With the gifted sense, Kyran got and turned into a Werewolf.
Kyran’s senses are amazingly sensitive, it’s even more sensitive than Rex’s sense.
“Trust your gut, If you feel something is watching you then you’re probably right”, Rex said making the others also glance around warily.
All of them becomes paranoid as even the sand brushing their feet startled them.
But after nothing happened to them for a while, Rex then explains as he attracts all of the others’ attention to him.
“Alright, listen to me”, Rex called.
After getting the others’ attention, Rex takes a stick that he found on the side before he draws a gem on the sand and said, “This is what we’re looking for”
“What’s that?”, Adhara asks from the side.
Rex points at the gem that he draws with his stick before he explains, “This is the Gem that we’re looking for, the gem should be easy to find because it will emit green light. This Gem should be located inside the temple there, and based on what I scouted way back, the Gem will be guarded by three guardians”
“So we will defeat the guardians first, then we will get the Gem”, Rex added.
While Rex is explaining their mission here, the others are listening to him attentively as they’re quite fascinated and curious about this place.
Based on the look of the place, Adhara and Kyran know that this place is special.
After they all learned about the objective, Rex devised a plan to sneak into the temple through the crack that Kyran has already confirmed.
It didn’t take too long before they started to move.
Since the crack is located on the left side of the temple, they only need to go on a straight line because they’re already on the left corner of the place.
Rex and Adhara will lead the others.

Both of them take down the mutated animals that are on their path with ease.
Rex clawed the mutated animals’ neck with his claws while Adhara slit their throat with purple blazing fire that almost killed them instantly.
All of them died as Rex and Adhara stop their body from falling to the ground loudly.
The mutated animals’ bodies got caught by the two of them before they lie the carcass down on the ground gently.
Because of this, there is almost no sound can be heard.
The mutated animals on the left side of the temple are easy to deal with because they’re mainly rank three and rank four.
If compared to Rex and Adhara, these mutated animals are nothing.
After the path is cleared by Rex and Adhara,
Delta, Kyran, and the mutated wolf then follow the two of them, they didn’t need to do anything as many fresh carcasses and blood splattered on the sandy ground.
It didn’t take long for them to arrive at the crack.
But upon arriving at the place, “Where’s the crack?”, Rex asks with a frown.
Hearing this, Kyran runs to the front to look around and turns out the crack on the wall is gone without any trace of it existing in the first place.
“I swear that I saw the crack here”, Kyran replied in disbelief.
Back when he checked out the crack with the mutated wolf, he saw the crack with his own eyes.
But reality proves him wrong, the crack is not there anymore.
Kyran still trying to find the crack around this area to no avail “I just crack it bigger a moment ago”, he mumbles in confusion.
He even tried to explain it to Rex, he make sure to inspect it carefully.
Looking at Kyran’s shocked expression, Rex frown harder as he glances around cautiously, ‘Kyran shouldn’t be lying, then this can only mean one thing’
Right after he thought that Rex senses something from the ground.
“Look out!”, Rex shouted as he pushed Adhara and Delta to the side, Kyran already sensed it first as he jumped away.
BOOM!
Two gigantic spikes sprouted from the ground out of nowhere, Adhara and Delta got flung to the side as the spikes blasted the ground.
Swoosh!
Sand flew to the surroundings because of the sudden sand spikes, it covered their vision with sand as a huge silhouette appeared in front of them.
After recovering from the attack, Rex looks at the silhouette that just appeared.
But then, he suddenly remembered, ‘Wind symbol?! It’s the creature I saw last time!’, he screamed inside his head.
