“W-Who are you?”, the man asks while looking at Adhara’s figure.
The violet flame is steaming around her body gorgeously like a blooming flower, the heat of the flames threatened to burn the surroundings but somehow the man is not exposed to this.
Adhara glance back before looking back at the Awakened in front of him warily, “I’m An Awakened from Ratmawati City”
“Ratmawati City…”, the man mumbles.
But when he realized what Adhara just said, the man stands up in shock.
“T-The angels! The Angels have come to save us!”, the man shouted as the other slaves looks at Adhara with sparkling eyes.
All of the slaves’ eyes lit up, Adhara is like a candle in the dark.
Based on how rough and haggard the slaves currently look, it’s hard to say for how long do they already put up with the hellish times behind these walls.
Nobody tries to help them, nobody even knows.
Adhara looks at their sparkling eyes feeling complicated,
“Who are you?! Where did you come from?!”, the Awakened asks as he draws his sword.
But before Adhara can answer, Rex and Edward approach her while riding on their horses without a hint of caution in their expression.
Edward and Rex jumped down from their horses and landed beside Adhara.
Looking at another unfamiliar face that appears in front of him, the Awakened held his sword hilt tightly as lightning started to envelop his sword.
Upon closer look, Rex can see that the Awakened is not Yosef.
This Awakened has brown eyes, and he’s certainly not the good one.
“Our leader is also an Awakened from Ratmawati City. If you know what’s good for you, leave the city immediately”, the man threatened.
Hearing this, not a single change in expression happened to Rex and the others.
The words that came out of the man’s mouth is just air for them, they didn’t feel threatened at all, even for a little bit.
Looking at this, the man frowns as his threat doesn’t work.
“Try to kill him using only your daggers, minimize your elemental usage”, Rex instructed.
Adhara nodded her head before she takes out her two daggers.
She then stepped forward with light steps making the man get into his battle stance, he already know that Adhara’s rank is higher than him.
“I’ll be your opponent”, Adhara announced.
Her disgusted expression can be seen clearly on her expression, and this pissed the man off.
BOOM!
Adhara dashes forward as her body glows with a purple hue,
Her dash is so fast that it catches the man off guard, he can only hold his sword in front of him to block Adhara’s attack.
CLANG!
Both of Adhara’s daggers clashes against the man’s sword.
The man got pushed back by the impact proving that Adhara is stronger than him.
But Adhara didn’t stop, she duck down deeper into the man’s defense before she slash her daggers horizontally in the opposite direction.
Slash!
The man manage to dodge it but received a shallow cut on his stomach.
“You could’ve added a leg sweep there, don’t just think of one attack but rather think of the move you’ll be going for next”, Edward lectured her from the side.
Hearing this, the man gritted his teeth in anger, “Don’t underestimate me!!”
Blitz!
The man’s sword started cracking with lightning, he slash his sword at Adhara but got blocked by Adhara with her blazing daggers.
Adhara then spins her body making the man’s sword parried to the side.
With a flick of her hands, she slashes the man’s thigh and calf with her daggers, “Argh!”, the man grunted as his legs feel weak.
But even with Adhara’s successful attack, Edward is frowning from the back.
“Why are you attacking his thigh? Are you even trying to kill him? Go for his groin to finish the fight quicker”, Edward lectured again.
Hearing Edward lecturing Adhara from the back, the Awakened knows that he’s just a test.
He realized that the people behind Adhara are not normal people, but they have no aura which makes the Awakened frown.
While this is all happening, the slaves were at a loss for words.
The Awakened of Lountain City is like a god to them,
But now, one of the people that they called god is being toyed with as if he’s an insect.
“We’re going to be saved…”
“Thank god…”
The slaves started to sob with tears as they watch the nightmare that haunts them for years starting to fade, the angels of Ratmawati City are here to save them from this false god.

“Arrghh!”, the man wail in pain as Adhara manage to land a nasty slash on his chest.
Purple fire scorch his chest as he ripped his clothes off to get rid of the purple fire.
Gritting his teeth, the man channels lightning mana to his fingertips before he points them at Adhara, “Lightning Spell, Piercing Lightning!”
Blitz!!
A lightning strike that takes the form of a snake bursts from his fingertips.
But Adhara already expected this as she dodge the lightning strike, she somersaulted to dodge the lightning strike before landing in front of the man.
“What?!”, the man steps back in shock.
Adhara lifts up her face before her eyes blaze with purple fire.
Upon seeing Adhara’s eyes, the man felt a burning sensation inside his body as if his body is on fire before suddenly,

Adhara’s daggers stopped right on the man’s neck,
Looking at this, Rex frowns seeing that Adhara hesitated for a moment.
The man breath heavily as he looks down at the blazing daggers right on his neck, he felt a sizzling pain as the fire touches his skin.
But feeling Rex’s gaze from the back, Adhara gripped her daggers,
SLASH!
With her blazing daggers, Adhara slashes the man’s neck.
The man held his neck trying to stop the blood from flowing out, but his attempt is futile as he falls down to the ground weakly before breathing his last breath.

After killing the man, Adhara sheathed her daggers before going back to Rex and Edward.
“I saw you using your new spell”, Rex said nonchalantly.
Hearing this, Adhara looks at Rex nervously but find that Rex is not going to comment about her hesitation, “Yes, it’s quite handy to use in a hand-to-hand fight”
“But you still need to learn more, aim for their vital parts. Always”, Edward said from the side.
But before Adhara can answer, “It seems your fight attracts the others, more of them are coming this way. Your turn is not done yet Adhara”, Rex said before three people landed in front of them.
They all rush here from the castle’s direction.
Rex looks at the three people before his eyes landed on the man on the left.
‘So that’s Yosef huh’, Rex thought as he see the man on the left who has really bright grey eyes just like the woman said.
After confirming which one is Yosef, Rex’s eyes then move to the man in the middle.
The man in the middle is a dark-skinned man with a very muscular body, his white faux mohawk hair matches his brown clean-cut beard. His body is full of scars and his runes span from both of his arms to his chest.
His shoulders and crotch are covered with armor, his upper body is exposed, and there’s a blue cape attached to his shoulders armor.
‘That’s Dito’, Rex thought as a smirk appeared on his face.
Ditto and the other Awakened that have the same style as him is a peak fifth rank Awakened, while Yosef on the other hand is only an early fourth rank Awakened.
Upon their arrival, the slaves have goosebumps traumatized by what these men can do.
But not long after, two other people arrived.
Rex saw the last two people and instantly recognized them, they are Ari and Kyran who seem to just finished eating based on their oily lips.
Arriving at the scene, Kyran wanted to go to them but was stopped by Rex.
Rex shakes his head signaling for Kyran to just wait there,
“Are you the one that killed him?”, Dito points at Adhara and asks.
With a smug expression, Adhara then replied coldly, “So what if I am? You’re going to do anything about it?”
Hearing the arrogant words from Adhara, the man beside Dito said, “Let me have her”
“Fine, make sure to give her hell. Fergus…”, Ditto replied.
Fergus then smiles evilly before he looks at Adhara fiercely as if he wanted to eat her.
The man that is also a peak fifth rank steps forward while dragging a long sword in his hand, he then points with his other hand at Adhara and said, “Little girl, I’m going to have fun with you”
Adhara steps forward again fearlessly,
“Don’t forget to not rely on your elements and spells for now”, Rex said.

Both Adhara and Fergus jumped towards each other,
CLANG!
Their weapons clashes against each other making a huge clanging sound before a shockwave follows, it’s clear that this is a more powerful fight than before.
“Let’s see what you got little girl!”, Fergus said as he sticks out his tongue like a madman.
Hearing Fergus call her a little girl annoys Adhara greatly,
But Adhara can feel that Fergus’s strength can rival her as they are both stuck in their position, but then suddenly Fergus’ long sword glows with lightning as the runes on the sword glow.
BAM!
Adhara fall to one of her knees as Fergus pushed down with his long sword.
He started laughing maniacally as Adhara struggles to hold on,
Feeling that she can’t hold it longer anymore, Adhara tilts her dagger to the side making the long sword slash the ground heavily.
“Now’s my chance!”, Adhara mumbles,
She wanted to stab Fergus knowing that he’s defenseless with his sword planted on the ground.
But to her surprise, Fergus abandoned his sword and dodge Adhara’s attack.
Before Adhara can retract her daggers, Fergus already smiles maniacally with his tongue out in the open as he swings his leg right onto Adhara’s stomach.
“Huaakh!”, Adhara spat a mouthful of blood as she sent screeching away.
Adhara stabs the ground with her daggers to stop her from getting pushed further, Fergus laughs resounded on her ear as she glare at him.
“You didn’t fall unconscious yet? I’m impressed little girl”, Fergus taunted.
Upon hearing him calling her little girl again, Adhara dashes angrily with all her might.
Anger filled her entire being,
Looking at this, Rex and Edward shake their heads knowing that Adhara just took the obvious bait from Fergus.
The purple fire envelopes Adhara’s body and daggers, she swings her daggers creating a fiery arc but Fergus already anticipated this.
His body also cracked with lightning,
Fergus takes his long sword from the ground and readies it, “Lightning Spell, Explosive Arc!”
CLANG!!
By holding the lightning imbued long sword with both of his hands, Fergus swings powerfully.
Adhara’s dash clashes directly with Fergus’ long sword, but she can’t win with strength against Fergus before and she certainly won’t win right now too.
BOOM!
Lightning explosion exploded zapping Adhara’s body and sending her flying away.
The momentum didn’t stop as she kept rolling on the ground before Edward appeared behind her and stop her, it’s quite powerful that even Edward got pushed back a little too.
Looking at this, Fergus smiles mockingly, “And down she goes! Hah!”
Adhara stands up from the ground slowly, her hands are bruised with little cuts all over her arms because of the attack before.
It’s clear that Fergus’ attack hurt her, only her adrenaline kept her from feeling it.
But when she was about to jump back in, Rex stopped her.
“That’s enough, it’s clear that you can’t fight him without relying on your superior element”, Rex said while holding Adhara’s shoulder.
Hearing this, Adhara gritted her teeth, “But let me fi-“
Before she can finish her sentence, Rex shook his head signaling Adhara to stop.
Adhara sighs trying to calm her anger down, “In a fight, don’t let anger consume you or you will end up like this”, Edward added from the side.
Edward then glance at Rex before Rex nodded his head.
After getting the signal from Rex, Edward stands up before he walks towards Fergus.
“What is he doing? He won’t win against that guy”, Adhara said in concern.
Edward is just a peak fourth rank that is a league below Adhara and Fergus, so by that stand, Edward should stand no chance against Fergus.
“Are you going to fight me next? a regular person?”, Fergus asks mockingly.
With the ring still on, Edward’s aura is still hidden and can’t be seen easily by Fergus or even the other people watching this.
It makes him look like an ordinary person,
Edward smiles lightly before he said, “Go easy on me big guy!”
Hearing this, Fergus laughs like a maniac as he readies his long sword, “Don’t worry, you’ll be meeting with god in just a bit”
Right after he said that,

Fergus dashes as his body blitz with lightning, he arrived beside Edward in a flash with his long sword crackling with blue lightning.
Looking at this, the slaves closed their eyes in fright.
No matter how they look at it, Edward who is a normal person will not survive one attack from Fergus who is a peak fifth rank.
Adhara is also concerned wanting to help, but Rex stopped her, “Do you really think that?”
“Do you really think Edward is that weak?”, Rex asks again.
Hearing this, Adhara frowns in confusion as she didn’t follow what Rex means.
“Close quarter combat ability is something that you must be good at. If you manage to excel at close quarter, then you can do the impossible”, Rex added.

Shockwaves exploded from Fergus’ attack clashing with Edward.
But then, Fergus felt something is wrong.
When he looks down to his front, he widened his eyes when he saw Edward block his attack as if his attack was nothing.
