Inside, the twelve supreme wizards of the Blue Planet’s Wizards Association sat in a semicircle. Each one’s faces etched with varying degrees of disdain, suspicion, and silent war.
Outside several hundreds of administration officials stood in wait. Because the decision of this meeting is going to decide the future of the blue planet.
At the centre of gathering the Sword Magus Elarin, the old man with a long, flowing white beard sat with a grim face. His piercing eyes were now fixed on the floor as everyone accused him.
A long document with Whale Symbol of 9 realm association was placed on the table. The contents were simple. The blue planet should be under direct control of 9 realms association head, Jason Mama.
The debate has already turned into a heated argument. Finally, the decision stopped before Sword Magus Elarin.
Wand Magus Alaric, the leader of the Association, stood at the forefront and began speaking in a sharp tone.
“Speak, sword magus! What defence do you have now? You, who preached righteousness and prohibited contact with the Nine Realms’ Association Head, have secretly sent your own blood to the Seventh Realm. Tell us, Sword Magus—how long did you think you could hide your hypocrisy?”
The room buzzed with murmurs of agreement.
Dagger Magus Thallic, supporter of Alaric, leaned forward, his voice dripping with scorn. “You’ve made all of us dumb fools. You accused us of ambition and greed, but it’s you who betrayed this planet for personal gain. Because of you, Elarin, we’ve lost the chance to open the Spirit World gates!”
Another voice joined soon. “You should be ashamed! Acting noble while practising this betrayal from the shadows. Your relative, Kent, has spoiled everything we’ve worked for. The future of our planet now lies in ruins because of your deceit!” Serpent Magus Kriya, her hiss echoed through the hall.
Elarin remained silent, his grip tightening around the hilt of the ancient sword resting against his chair.
Across the table, a few allies of the Sword Magus—Staff Magus Ruchi, Fire Magus Pyro, and Spear Magus watched the proceedings with quiet unease. They believed in sword magus’s integrity, but his silence only deepened the doubt in the room.
Finally, Elarin raised his head, staring deep into the eyes of Alaric. The wand magus Alaric swallowed hard and turned his head away in fear.
“I have nothing to hide. I did not send Kent to the Seventh Realm. He was chosen by someone from that 7th realm—a woman of great power who took him as her husband. This was not my doing, nor was it under my control.” Sword Magus declared loudly in a grim tone.
Wand Magus Alaric immediately slammed his fist on the table.
“And we’re supposed to believe that? Convenient, isn’t it, Sword Magus? You have no proof, no witnesses, just your word. What about this document? Why do you refuse to sign it? Are you afraid we’ll expose more of your secrets?” Alarin questioned in a loud tone.
Elarin immediately stood up from the chair with a serious glare. The supporters of Alaric couldn’t stare back at Sword magus.
Sword magus placed his hand on the Sword hilt before speaking. “This document grants the Nine Realms’ Association full control over us. Signing it would turn the Blue Planet into a colony of outsiders! I will not bow to them, not now, not ever.
This planet has stood proud for centuries, and I will not be the one to tarnish that legacy. Kill me if you must, but my answer remains the same!”
A ripple of shock ran through the room. All supporters of Alaric turned towards him as they didn’t understand how to react. Alaric thought he could bend the sword magus’ will by using Kent’s name. But the stone cold sword magus didn’t budge an inch from his opinion.
Following Sword Magus, the Staff Magus Ruchi rose to her feet.
“I stand with Sword Magus Elarin. We cannot sacrifice our sovereignty for the promise of power. I will never sign this document.”
“Yes, Sword Magus Elarin has always fought for the integrity of this planet. If he refuses to sign, then so do I.” Ice Magus Glassia replied in her frosty demeanour.
Spear magus Valerius added his voice to the rejecting side. “Count me in. The future of this planet belongs to us, not some distant overlords.”
The room divided sharply. Alaric’s faction glared at Elarin and his supporters, their frustrations boiling over.
“Enough of this nonsense! Let’s do this through votes. Only the majority can decide what’s good for this planet.” Alaric spoke loudly.
“If we leave this to a vote, you’ll doom us all. We must decide now—through strength!” Sword Magus Elarin proposed, unsheathing his sword.

The fire blade glowed with an ancient fire, the very air around it humming with suppressed energy.
“What do you say, Alaric. Let us step outside and settle this with our power. The strongest among us will decide whether this document should be signed.” Sword Magus asked with a taunting look.
Gasps filled the hall. Everyone knew Elarin’s reputation. Though his cultivation level matched theirs, his mastery over the sword was unparalleled. Even Alaric hesitated, his fingers tightening around his wand.
Before anyone could respond, a young servant burst into the hall, his face pale with fear.
“Supremes! A powerful being has breached our planet’s protective barrier. They are heading toward Golden Bamboo City. The Gate Master identified the intruder—it’s Drona Quinn, the Old Patriarch of the Quinn Family from the Seventh Realm!”
The hall fell silent, the name “Drona” reverberating like a death bell. Even Alaric’s defiance faltered.
Sword Magus Elarin muttered the name Drona under his breath, his expression darkening. He turned abruptly and began flying toward the exit.
Sword Magus felt worried as he realised Kent was from the golden bamboo city. “If Drona is here, it’s to find Kent. If he learns of Kent’s true origins, the future war will be compromised. I must not let that happen.”
He stepped outside and leaped into the air, his sword glowing beneath his feet. In an instant, he was soaring toward Golden Bamboo City, the storm winds whipping around him.
The other supremes exchanged uneasy glances before following, though none could match his speed.
But unbeknownst to Elarin, Drona had come for a different reason entirely.
