The Power Stone turned its attention towards Dio, leaving the Soul Stone man behind. Dio knew that this situation wasn’t good for him, and so he immediately used [The Hand]’s power to delete the space for him, teleporting him into safety. At the same time, a purple energy ray beam instantly covered Dio’s previous spot! Destroying the ground like it was a piece of paper.
It was fortunate that Dio could teleport himself in a short distance with [The Hand] ability. But one thing for sure was that the Grandmaster was correct! The Infinity Stones became the deadliest weapon after they gained a living body! It was self-sufficient, and not to mention, the Infinity Stones could grow too as they were now a living being. Furthermore, since their trait as the Infinity Stones still remained, meaning they were almost impossible to destroy!
If Dio didn’t find any opening to attack the Grandmaster right now, maybe he would’ve chosen to retreat and plan for another attack later.
The reason was because there was too much power here for Dio to handle alone! There were 6 Infinity Stones in their humanoid form that could exert 100% of their power without any risk! There was no way Dio would be able to handle that much power! But now that the Grandmaster has caught himself in a predicament, Dio had to seize the opportunity right away!
If he only had to deal with the Power Stone, he would be able to handle it!
“Come over here!” Dio shouted as he used [The Hand]’s ability once again, this time closing the gap between him and the Power Stone! Dio immediately threw a couple of Space Grenades toward the surprised Power Stone.
But it didn’t seem like the Power Stone had any intention to dodge the grenade whatsoever! The Power Stone held his finger to the sky, and all the grenades were immediately enveloped by a purple light and disappeared without a trace! The grenade had no chance of going off at all!
Dio was shocked by the power of the Power Stone as he had never seen such absolute power before. Even when he attached the Power Stone to the Particle Cannon, the Power Stone couldn’t exert this amount of power!
Dio immediately took out the gun that had [Emperor] attached to it and shot the Power Stone immediately, pulling off a tricky shot that should hit the Power Stone on the back of its head.
But not even a bullet made of Adamantium could penetrate the Power Stone’s skin as the adamantium bullet shattered the moment it hit the Power Stone. Meanwhile, the Power Stone immediately attempted to attack Dio once again!
Dio immediately tried to escape with [The Hand]’s ability and teleported away from his current spot. However, the Power Stone was bombing the place down with a purple beam, which covered such a large area that Dio’s destination would be hit anyway.
Unless Dio could teleport again, there was no chance for him to dodge this attack! Alas, there was something left that he could try in this critical moment, and that was to summon [King Crimson]! The only chance he had right now was to use Epitaph, then envelop his body with Hamon Energy before dodging the attack with inhuman reflects!
If he couldn’t dodge it, he would have to delete time, but that would consume a huge amount of Hamon Energy, and he knew that the fight wouldn’t end any time soon!
Dio quickly maneuvered his body to dodge the Power Stone’s attack, which undoubtedly frustrated the Power Stone! But as Dio took a closer look, it seemed the Power Stone had turned his attention towards the Soul Stone this time!
Dio knew that he couldn’t let the Power Stone disturb whatever it was that the Soul Stone man did to the Grandmaster. He ought to draw the Power Stone’s attention somehow! Dio then threw the Space Grenade towards the Power Stone, but this time, Dio threw it a little bit far from the Power Stone’s position.
This time, the Space Grenade imploded smoothly, dragging the Power Stone towards the center of the implosion. But the Power Stone didn’t seem to falter! He waved his hand, and the hole that the Space Grenade created was immediately destroyed. In addition, due to the intensity of the power that was suddenly cut off, the wind blew out!
“How much longer are you planning to drag this out? I can’t hold out the Power Stone for much longer!” Dio shouted at the Soul Stone. He didn’t dare to get any closer to the Soul Stone was as he knew that he couldn’t defend against the attack from Power Stone!
“It will be over soon! Please hold on for another minute!” The Red Skull replied as he was still trying to intervene with the Grandmaster’s control over the Power Stone. Although it was clear that the expression on Red Skull’s face was anxious, Dio knew that the greedy man was trying his hardest to loosen the Grandmaster’s grip over the Power Stone.
It was all for the sake of freedom that the Soul Stone promised once it regained control and destroyed the Grandmaster, then he could get one of the Infinity Stones as he dreamed of. The more power that the Power Stone displayed, the more excited the Red Skull got.
Red Skull once lost everything he had, and now, he looked forward to the time he fought Steve Roger again, the man that made him lose everything!
Meanwhile, Dio gritted his teeth as Red Skull’s demand was too much! How could he hold out against the Power Stone for 1 minute right now? Dio racked his brain to find a way to stop the Power Stone’s advance, but he couldn’t find anything that could truly stop the Power Stone!
But there was no time anymore! So, Dio pulled out the scythe once more and blessed it with so many Hamon Technique that he could bestow! He should try to drag the Power Stone to close combat! Although it was extremely risky, there was nothing Dio could do right now!
A black and red energy blade cut through the space and hit the Power Stone’s body!
