Why did the Infinity Stone move on its own? The Grandmaster and Dio were surprised by this turn of events! The Orange colored Gem Person was clasping his head like it was pulling something out, and not too long after, it pulled out the Grandmaster’s soul from inside its head!
The Grandmaster immediately felt that his connection with the Soul Stone was fading! He immediately made a move and tried to control the other 5 Infinity Stones to take back control from the Soul Stone!
But at this moment, a figure floated behind him and held the Grandmaster’s head between his hands.
“I didn’t expect you to succeed. It really surprised me!” Red Skull said as he speak behind the Grandmaster.
“Red Skull! What did you do?” the Grandmaster said while biting his lips from the pain he felt as Red Skull trapped his soul so that the Grandmaster could no longer control the Infinity Stones.
“I just did what I should do! You think you have complete control over the Soul Stone? Soul Stone has its own consciousness. You can’t just rewrite it with your own image! It constantly monitors your move in every second! You think you have me as your slave as you take control over the Soul Stone? No! I am always under the Soul Stone’s control! You are just an insignificant pawn to the Soul Stone!” Red Skull said indifferently.
“This is impossible!” The Grandmaster said nervously. He didn’t know what was truly happening. Furthermore, the Orange Gem Man in front of him was looking down on him!
“You know too little about the Infinity Stones! But thanks to you, the Infinity Stones finally get to taste real life! The Soul Stone has promised me that I will be released from my shackle after this, and it even gave me a reward to choose an avatar of my own! I can even merge with one of the Infinity Stones if I want to!” The Red Skull said with a hint of excitement in his voice. It was expected as the Red Skull was an individual that chased after power and fame!
Dio wasn’t surprised at all, but he decided to see what would happen next as he wanted to figure out the best course of action in this scenario.
The Grandmaster grumbled, but it was clear that he hadn’t given up just yet! “We will see who can laugh in the end!” The Grandmaster said calmly. The Grandmaster immediately yanked his soul from the Time Stone and Mind Stone, respectively, and put them back inside his body to reduce the effect of the Red Skull’s interference, but it wasn’t enough to break free from the Red Skull’s clutch!
The Grandmaster clicked his tongue in annoyance and pulled out two more of his soul from the Space Stone and the Reality Stone and put them back inside his body, immediately breaking free of the Red Skull’s clutch over his soul as now, the Grandmaster’s soul was powered back!
Now, the Grandmaster immediately connected with the Power Stone as the Red was no longer in control! The Red Skull’s complexion immediately changed as he knew that he couldn’t win against the Power Stone that already had its own body. He immediately turned his attention toward Dio as he knew that Dio was the only one who could help him subdue the Grandmaster at this moment.
“How long are you planning to wait!? Don’t you want to resurrect those that have disappeared thanks to the Grandmaster’s childish action?” The Red Skull shouted. Dio narrowed his eyes slightly, but he wouldn’t take the bait as he knew that the Soul Stone had independent consciousness, and the Red Skull didn’t have the authority to act without its consent.
On the other hand, the Grandmaster knew that the other half of his soul was trying to regain control over the Soul Stone. Otherwise, the Soul Stone would’ve already been awakened and did whatever it pleased. This meant that his plan wasn’t truly down the drain just yet!
The Grandmaster immediately controlled the Power Stone to punch the Red Skull, pushing him away from the Grandmaster’s body and immediately aimed at the Soul Stone to smash it to pieces. But Dio quickly intervened! He shoved the Soul Stone towards The Grandmaster’s barely moving body, and it caused a bright orange light to emit from the Soul Stone’s body as it touched the Grandmaster’s body.
Now the only Infinity Stone that could still move was the Power Stone, but its movement was stiff like a puppet. As for the other Infinity Stones, they all fell to the ground as they still didn’t have a consciousness of their own. It was a shame that when the Power Stone would exert its power, these immobile Infinity Stones could be destroyed in the aftermath. The Infinity Stones could destroy each other easily.
When the Power Stone began stomping its feet, the entire ground quickly shook like it was about to crumble! But no matter how hard the ground shook, the Soul Stone that was attached to the Grandmaster right now was still connected like a conjoined baby. The orange light showed no sign of disappearing at all! It was clear that the Grandmaster was facing the Soul Stone in the Soul World, but Dio had no clue who would come out victorious in the end.
Dio racked his brain, figuring out what he could do, and took out the white chip that he got earlier. The Soul Stone instantly reacted and turned its attention longingly towards Dio. It was really hard to imagine that the Soul Stone wanted the part of its soul back, but Dio just smiled and threw the white chip directly toward the Soul Stone!
The white chip instantly vanished as it merged with the Soul Stone, and it seemed the Soul Stone was powered up by Dio’s action as the Orange light became more intense than earlier.
But suddenly, the Power Stone jumped forward! Dio immediately moved to block the Power Stone if necessary, but he knew that he wouldn’t be able to take any blow from the Power Stone as it would be devastating!
The only thing he could do right now was to make sure that the Power Stone couldn’t do anything that could destroy other Infinity Stones! And so, Dio summoned [The Hand] once again. He immediately ordered [The Hand] to punch a hole in the ground to trap the Power Stone as it kept jumping around wildly.
[The Hand] did as Dio said, and it immediately punched the ground where the Power Stone would land, but to Dio’s surprise, it backfired! The Purple Light disappeared underground as a huge pit on the ground was formed, and gurgling magma instantly burst out of the pit!
This was the true strength of the Power Stone! It could easily destroy a planet if it ever desired to!
