Kana smiled and nodded her head. She took a magi pen and signed her name. She then quickly filled out the form, which only asked for some basic information. The woman's smile was as bright as the sun as she said: "Thank you so much! If you go to the right and follow the signs, it will bring you to the east arena grounds. I know you do not need it, but good luck Miss Kana!"
"Thanks." Kana waved goodbye to the woman and walked off towards the east arena grounds. Many people were gathered here, waiting for things to get started. Kana was the last one in the line, so she was the last to arrive. When she did, many gazes fell on her. If it was her old self before her evolution, she might have shrunk back, feeling insecure. But now, she just ignored them all. The arena looked very much like the ancient Roman battle arenas back on Earth. She had seen a few pictures of them in some worn-out books.
She walked over and stood by herself. She didn't know a single person here. She felt too nervous to walk up and talk to people. She already knew that many knew who she was. But although Kana was too nervous to walk up to others and talk to them, this did not mean others were. A young handsome man with a horse tail and ears walked over in large strides. "You must be the famous hero of Rural. It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Hemmroid Daily. It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Kana."
Kana almost burst out laughing hearing the young man's name. She really wondered if the young man's parents hated him or if they just had a few screws loose. But when she thought about how this was a different world, she actually wondered if hemorrhoids actually existed here. "It's a pleasure." Kana finally answered after swallowing back her laughter.
But with the friendly smile that she gave, this was like a signal for the masses to come running over. In no time at all, the hemorrhoid horse man was quickly pushed out of the way as many girls came running over to talk to Kana.
"Miss Kana, My name is Mary! It is nice to meet you! You are my idol!"
"Miss Kana, how far have you gone with Handsome Husband?"
"Yeah! Miss Kana, have you two fucked!?"
"Miss Kana, how big is it!?"
"Miss Kana, will you allow me to join the two of you in bed!?"
And so Kana was completely taken back by all the questions she was getting one after the other which ninety percent of them all had to do with Creige, and most of these questions were very bold. Kana suddenly had the biggest urge to run away. Her cheeks were bright red. Their questions kept bringing up images of Creige's naked body that she had seen that day.
"Quiet all of you! Stop butting into Goddess Kana's personal life. No one goes around asking you when the last time you touched yourself was, right?" A familiar voice shouted out, silencing all the girls. Causing them all to turn bright red. A familiar fox girl with a fluffy tail pushed her way through the crowd. Kana's eyes landed on the young girl, and smiled from ear to ear with watery eyes. She looked at the girl as if she was her life savior! "Kiliffia!"
Kiliffia smiled and opened her arms, waiting to give her goddess a big hug, but was thoroughly disappointed as she felt her tail get seized instead. Kana was rubbing Kiliffia's tail all over her face. "My fluff fluff."
There were still some parts of Kana's childish personality that could never go away. Kiliffia blushed but didn't freak out as she did before. Instead, she was quite happy that her goddess was enjoying her tail. She had made sure to spend a good amount of time making it soft and fluffy every day since she knew her goddess liked her tail. It was just that she was still slightly sad that her tail, even though it was technically part of her, actually won over herself…
"Alright, quiet it down, everyone." The bear man from before came out. He seemed to be the one overseeing this part of the test. Everyone present quickly turned their attention to the bear man. "There are over two hundred applicants this year, which are split between the two arenas. In order to quickly get through this, we need to hurry it along. You will all take a seat in the arena's stands. When your name is called, you are to go down and fight the instructor. The Instructor will grade you on your performance. Now do not fret if you lose. It does not mean that you have failed. The judgment criteria are not based on winning or losing it is based on how well you perform during the test. Okay, let's go in!"
Kana, with Kiliffia by her side, followed the one hundred hopefuls into the arena and quickly found a seat. Kana found that they did not waste time in calling the first person who just so happened to be the hemorrhoid horse man from earlier. Kana watched as the horse man walked into the arena with his nose in the air, proud as can be.
The instructor, who was of the tiger race, sneered seeing the proud young man. To him, these kinds of people are the ones he liked to break the most. "Young Man, you best be ready. If you get knocked out right away, do not come complaining to the academy later."
"Fear not, instructor, I am fully ready please come at me!" the horse man said as he got into a strange stance. But before he could even move a muscle, he was already sent flying through the air and smashed heavily into the wall behind him, falling unconscious. Everyone looked at the instructor with a bit of fear in their eyes. The bear man chuckled. This was something that happened every year, and it was the best way to tell these new hopefuls to not be full of themselves.
The instructor looked at the testees in the stands and yelled: "Next!"
