Although he hated the idea of not being the one to bring down the Ashland family, he had to be the one to investigate.
The reason was simple. Lilian and Li Hua were the threads tying them together. He knew if these hidden assassins found this connection, they would, without a doubt, come after the Platinum Spirit Root, which is Lilian and the Atomic Divine Body.
Without a doubt, the assassins would know he was linked to them and would soon come after him if they hadn’t already.

“Well, this is bad, isn’t it?” Kent said.
