Hunter J’s expression darkened when she heard the principal’s words. “Hmph, you’d better not be lying, but even if Dr. Ouyang isn’t here, you won’t have an easy time today!”
With that, she urged Aerodactyl to continue its attack.
The principal knew there was no retreat now and resolutely threw out three Poké Balls: “Gyarados, Magmar, Venusaur, it’s all up to you!”
The three Pokémon appeared one after another, all exuding the powerful aura of the Gym Leader Class, their levels all around fifty-five.
“Gyarados, use Hydro Pump!” the principal commanded first.
Gyarados roared, and a surging high-pressure water column instantly shot out from its massive mouth, like a blue water dragon, directly charging towards Aerodactyl.
The power of that Hydro Pump was enough to instantly collapse a small building, yet Aerodactyl merely flapped its wings lightly and agilely dodged, its speed so quick it seemed to be strolling leisurely.
Hunter J sneered, “Aerodactyl, dodge and then use Rock Tomb!”
Aerodactyl immediately spat out giant rocks, which whistled through the air like a meteor shower, surging towards Gyarados. The air in their path was torn apart, emitting a sharp sound.
Just then, a cold and disdainful glint flashed in Hunter J’s eyes, and she agilely leaped off Aerodactyl’s back.
She spun in mid-air, her purple uniform flapping in the wind, her black long boots glinting coldly in the sunlight, and then landed steadily on a rock that had not yet hit the ground.
She lightly tapped the rock with one foot, using the momentum to leap high again, dancing in the air like a purple lightning bolt. In a few leaps, she landed safely on the ground.
“Today, you will all become my defeated opponents!” Hunter J shouted loudly, her voice filled with confidence and arrogance.
“Magmar, Fire Spin, block those rocks!” the principal quickly commanded.
Flames surged around Magmar, and it quickly spun its body, forming a scorching Fire Spin.
The Fire Spin collided with the rocks, creating a burst of fire and stone fragments. Although Magmar successfully blocked the rocks, under Aerodactyl’s powerful suppression, the Fire Spin also began to waver, and Magmar’s claws trembled slightly from the immense pressure.
“Venusaur, use Vine Whip to entangle it!” the principal continued to give orders.
Venusaur immediately extended several thick Vine Whips, lashing out at Aerodactyl like agile snakes, the Vine Whips cutting through the air with whooshing sounds.
Hunter J’s eyes narrowed. “Aerodactyl, Steel Wing counterattack!”
Aerodactyl’s wings were instantly covered in a metallic sheen, and it powerfully flapped its wings, colliding with Venusaur’s Vine Whips, emitting a dull, thunderous sound. The Vine Whips seemed to hit an iron barrier, instantly bouncing back, and Venusaur was also shaken back several steps, cracks appearing in the ground beneath its feet.
“Is this what a true Pokémon battle is like…?”
Jiang Mo was incredibly shocked. The destruction caused by just Gym Leader Class and Elite Four level battles was so terrifying; he couldn’t even imagine the power of Heavenly King Level battles.
Although the principal was very strong, Jiang Mo knew he couldn’t win against Hunter J today, as Hunter J still had trump cards she hadn’t used.
“Gyarados, Dragon Rage!”
The principal, deeply engaged in the fierce battle, was unaware of this. He quickly commanded Gyarados to launch another powerful attack.
Gyarados’s eyes glowed red, gathering powerful Dragon type energy, then fiercely unleashed an angry wave of Dragon energy. As the energy wave passed, the space seemed to ripple, rushing towards Aerodactyl.
Hunter J shouted, “Aerodactyl, Protect!” A transparent energy shield instantly appeared in front of Aerodactyl, blocking the Dragon Rage energy wave, though the shield developed some cracks. Aerodactyl, however, remained calm and composed, as if this powerful attack was merely a tickle.
“Magmar, use Flamethrower, then Fire Blast!” the principal changed tactics.
Magmar spewed a powerful column of flames from its mouth, which then converged in the air into a giant “big” (Great) character, rushing towards Aerodactyl with rolling heat waves.
The high temperature of the flames distorted the surrounding air, but Aerodactyl flew directly into the flames, dispelling most of them with a wing flap, and charged straight towards Magmar. However, flames ignited on Aerodactyl’s body, clearly indicating it was afflicted with a burn.
Seeing the unfavorable situation, Hunter J immediately commanded, “Aerodactyl, fly up and use Stone Edge!”
Aerodactyl flapped its wings and soared high into the sky, summoning sharp stones from above, which rained down on the three Pokémon.
As the stones fell, they were like small cannonballs, kicking up dust and smoke when they hit the ground.
Venusaur immediately used Vine Whip to erect a green barrier, blocking most of the falling stones, but a few still broke through the defense, scratching Venusaur’s body. Venusaur let out a painful groan, and green sap oozed from its wounds.
“Venusaur, use Synthesis to restore stamina! Gyarados and Magmar, continue attacking!”
the principal shouted. A green light glowed around Venusaur, and its wounds slowly began to heal, but its expression remained exhausted.
Gyarados and Magmar charged towards Aerodactyl again. Gyarados used the powerful Aqua Tail skill, its entire body tensed, rushing towards Aerodactyl like an arrow from a bow, while Magmar interfered from the side with Fire Punch, its fists ablaze with roaring flames, each punch sending out a shower of sparks.
Hunter J commanded Aerodactyl, “Deal with that Gyarados first, use Dragon Claw!”
Aerodactyl swooped down, its right claw glowing with white Dragon type energy. The light was like a sharp blade, slashing fiercely towards Gyarados.
This claw strike contained enough power to tear through steel. Even before it touched Gyarados, its claw wind ravaged the grass below.
The principal urgently shouted, “Gyarados, dodge quickly, counterattack with Aqua Tail!”
Gyarados twisted its body, barely avoiding the Dragon Claw attack at an extremely perilous angle, then its tail, enveloped in rushing water, swung like a giant water hammer at Aerodactyl.
Aqua Tail carried a powerful impact, striking Aerodactyl, but only causing it to sway slightly in the air. Aerodactyl then let out an enraged roar, seemingly completely provoked by this attack.
Hunter J watched the principal’s three Pokémon struggle to resist, a hint of disdain gradually appearing on her face: “Hmph, with such strength, you dare to oppose me. How uninteresting. It seems it’s time to end this farce.”
Saying that, she took out a Mega Stone from her waist, which emitted a mysterious glow, and held it high.
“Aerodactyl, Mega Evolution!”
Instantly, a dazzling light enveloped Aerodactyl, and its body began to undergo a massive transformation.
Its already massive body became even more robust, the bones on its wings grew thicker, their edges glinting sharply, and the sharp horns on its head became longer and more pointed. The rock patterns all over its body seemed to be infused with new energy, exuding a chilling aura.
