Endure, a Normal-type status move, in the game, allows the user to survive with at least 1 HP at the end of the turn, even if hit by a one-hit knockout move.
But how could game mechanics be the same as reality? Endure's effect only forces the user to survive with a sliver of HP for the current turn, but Vikavolt's attack is continuous. Qi Shu was worried that even with Endure, Araquanid wouldn't last.
However, Araquanid's advantage, besides its top-tier Water Bubble ability, is its high Special Defense of 132. It can not only act as a Water-type cannon but also serve as a Water-type special wall for defensive synergy.
