Qin Shiyu’s eyes slowly opened as she saw faint rays of the morning sun coming from the window. Before she could get up, she realized Jun Tianyun was still sleeping, cuddling her from behind.

Before Ah Da left, Jun Tianyun refilled their supplies and handed him several talismans. Ah Da was confused when he saw the talismans.
However, Since Jun Tianyun told them that these were means of protection, he agreed. Jun Tianyun watched them leave.
The workshop was pretty good. Jun Tianyun easily found some super modern machines that would be a hassle to build back in Blue Star Planet.

Jun Tianyun wasn’t just going out for sightseeing. He was going out due to three reasons.
First, to find a better shelter or base camp. The current location of Heaven’s Sanctuary is a bit small for him.
Second reason, Jun Tianyun wondered if he could get any sort of lucky encounter. He wanted to find any sort of hidden base or underground research facility.
The third reason was the most important reason. Jun Tianyun wished to find the cause of this apocalypse. The reason for zombie mutation and its cure is the most important breakthrough for Jun Tianyun.
Qin Shiyu looked at the passing scenes as Jun Tianyun drove the car.
Suddenly, Jun Tianyun entered an abandoned ruin as he saw a few zombies there.
” Well, Shiyu, It is a good place. You should practice here.”
Qin Shiyu was surprised when Jun Tianyun said that. Qin Shiyu was also itching to test her new ability.

She nodded eagerly as she got off from the car. Jun Tianyun only made a noise as all the zombies in the surrounding got attracted by it.

The zombies got pale grey, rotting skins, with terrifying mutated eyes. They charged toward Jun Tianyun and Qin Shiyu.
Qin Shiyu closed her eyes as she tried to gather her powers. She raised her hand as it condensed frosty lights.
Jun Tianyun spoke, ” Try imagining you are shooting out icicles.”
Qin Shiyu nodded as she did what Jun Tianyun suggested.

Five palm sized icicles shot out from Qin Shiyu’s hand as they nailed into the zombie’s bodies. However, since Qin Shiyu was using her ability for the first time, her aim was very bad.
” I…”
Qin Shiyu panicked a bit as she saw the zombies were coming close. She shoots more and more icicles in panic. She managed to kill two zombies, but the others were already near.
Jun Tianyun shouted. ” Shiyu! Use your full power! Destroy them else we are going to die!”
Qin Shiyu gritted her teeth as an icy light flashed in her eyes. Freezing rays burst from her hands they enveloped the zombies. A layer of frost covered the zombies as their speed slowly turned slower.
Qin Shiyu poured more and more power as she turned the zombies into ice statues.
“Shatter!!”
Qin Shiyu uttered as the statues of zombies shattered into pieces. Jun Tianyun nodded when he saw the scene. The zombies were killed off completely.
Qin Shiyu panted as her face was covered with sweat. However, she gave a smile of victory to Jun Tianyun.
” Boss, I… I did it.”
Jun Tianyun held her as he nodded, ” En, You must be tired since it is your first using your ability in battle.”
His eyes slowly narrowed as he looked at his surroundings.
” Get some rest Shiyu. I will be cleaning off the remaining pests.”
