In the group, the person with the highest Cultivation Stage was the one standing right in front of him. He was a Golden Core Stage level 8 cultivator. The others were all in their Core Bearing Stage. Even if he killed all of them, the experience gained would only be very little and not sufficient enough to satisfy Xu Que. "Are you for real?" He asked the middle-aged man as he chuckled.
The middle-aged man narrowed his eyes, reached out a bamboo pipe from his embrace and pointed towards the sky before sneering, "You can try me."
"Stop talking nonsense already. Quickly call your Elder over here. Oh yes, if it’s alright with you, you can call your entire Faction over. The more, the better. Be quick, I’m rushing for time." Xu Que laughed.
Everybody was stumped.
Another Golden Core Stage Cultivator walked out from the group and spoke to the middle-aged man, "Senior, there is no need to alarm the Elders. Although he is at the maximum stage of the Golden Core Stage, if we take him on together, we will be sure to bring him down."
The middle-aged man laughed coldly and nodded, "Hmph! I wanted to let him retreat on his own accord. Who knew this man is so oblivious of what situation he found himself in. Dressing so oddly and masking up his appearance. He could be a wanted criminal. If we take him down together, a prize reward could await our Faction."
Finished, he kept the bamboo pipe in his embrace as he laughed grimly and looked towards Xu Que.
Xu Que started to panic, "Please don’t. There’s no meaning if you don’t call for backup."

The group of Core Bearing Staged disciples with cold eyes, looked on. Some of them even had taunting looks as they nodded mockingly while laughing, "This lad is really tired of living. He dares to challenge our Faction. With our Seniors attacking together, even strong Original Infant Stage level 1 Cultivators will find it a challenge!"
Xu Que looked at the few men trying to engage him in battle and inevitably let out a sigh, " Sigh… what a hassle. Since you people are not calling for backup, here I come!"

"Senior, be careful." The remaining Golden Core Staged Cultivators witnessed the scene as their expressions changed and one by one, they rushed towards Xu Que with their swords raised.
With Xu Que’s unmatched speed including the Thunder Flash and Thunder Blink spells, he appeared right behind the middle-aged man instantly as he let loose an explosive fist towards the middle aged man.
"Pffff!" The middle-aged cultivator could not even react. His face with filled with astonishment as he stared blankly while he witnessed his own chest being impaled by a big arm. His heart stopped on the spot.
His arm then grabbed onto the bamboo pipe within his robes and pulled it out.
The middle-aged man dropped on the ground. With a big hole in his chest area, fresh blood could be seen spilling all over.
Everybody came into a deadlock in a flash. They were all stupefied and their eyes were filled with utter fear.

Xu Que laughed briefly. In front of the frightened and shocked group, he held the bamboo pipe up high and from his palms radiated core energy.

The few of them brandished their flying swords followed by their figures moving upwards. They turned their heads and ran off.
"Eh…" It was Xu Que’s turn to become stunned. He pouted the side of his lips.
"Damn your mum. Where’s the trust between humans? I’m sure they said they want to fight me to the death but they ran away in the end!"
Xu Que was speechless. He was too lazy to chase after them. He turned his head and looked at the remaining Core Bearing disciples. They were all tangled up like a ball.
"Will I be counted as being too cruel if I put my hands on you low-staged Cultivators? If word is sent out, everyone will laugh at me and term me as a bully. It’s very bad for my reputation!" Xu Que muttered and looked at the bunch of disciples.
He asked awkwardly, "How about this, among yourselves, choose one person. I will spar with him one-on-one. If he wins, I will let all of you off."
