After frying the electricity in the entire bar creating a blackout, Rex immediately went out of the room he’s in while the Awakened’s attention is focused on the blackout.
He then dashes to the right before jumping on the ventilation above him.
This was done so fast that the Awakened didn’t see him hiding above them on the ventilation, he now can see the Awakened from above but the Awakened can’t see Rex.
But then suddenly, a subtle wind blew the place which makes Rex frown.
‘Is it a wind detection spell?’, Rex thought.
Knowing that the subtle wind blowing the entire bar is a detection spell used by someone, Rex immediately takes out the astral blanket and puts it on him.
Thanks to the Astral State he’s in, the wind blew through his body.
Rex then looks at the situation and finds ten Awakened are approaching the VIP rooms, he saw six of them split into two groups approaching from the right and left holding swords and sabers.
While four other Awakened that is on the second floor stayed back,
But then, his eyes landed on the crystal in the Awakened’s hand which makes him scan the crystal to check what it is.
‘Hmm, are they trying to isolate me?’, Rex thought.
After that, Rex glanced at the four Awakened holding guns that stayed back, ‘Let’s aim for those four first, the gun will be too loud if they fire it here’
Just right after he thought of that,
Rex started approaching the two Awakened holding guns on this side while conjuring Black Field Orko below the two Awakened holding guns on the other side.
He’s like a professional athlete doing acrobatics,
The night creates a perfect cover for him as the Awakened’s eyes are just like normal humans, they are only able to perceive things that are way faster than what normal humans can see.
But during the darkness of the night, they have the same vision as normal humans.
Only Light and Dark Elementalists are not hindered by the darkness of the night thanks to their innate elemental effects, but these Awakened are only Wind Elementaists.
Their vision in the dark is nothing compared to Rex’s,
It didn’t take long for Rex to reach the two as he readies the Amuerus Katana, the two Awakened didn’t realize that they were being stalked by two red eyes from above.

While the leader was surprised the Awakened holding guns had already been taken down, Rex already arrives at the leader’s back that still doesn’t realize him there.

He whispers in the leader’s ear,
The leader was utterly shocked as he jumped away immediately, it surprised him so much that he forgot to breathe as he looks at the person that surprised him.
With red eyes glowing in the dark,
Rex looks terrifying as the moonlight only lit up the smirk on his face while leaving half of his face dark, only his animalistic red eyes are visible to see.
This sent a shiver on the leader’s spine,
Two Awakened that are standing beside the leader leaped at Rex fearlessly, they intends to attack Rex with the crystal but Rex dodged it easily.

Since both Awakened missed,
They hit the table and chair behind Rex with the crystal, and right after that, the table and chair disappear after turning translucent, ‘It’s similar to transferral crystal, they’re trying to teleport me to their territory’, Rex thought.
With a swift movement, Rex slashes both of the Awakened’s necks.

After killing the two Awakened, Rex glance back at the leader.
“Early Seventh Rank Awakened, I’m really speechless”, Rex said with a mocking smile.
Hearing this, the other Awakened realized that Rex has already taken down some of them as they all went back down from the second floor with swift movements.
But Rex seems unfazed as he continues, “I have already taken down two Awakened similar to you, is the Wesley Atkins that dumb to send another Early Seventh Rank to me just to be killed?”
The leader gritted his teeth in anger as he heard Rex’s taunt,
He then calms his anger down before a smirk appears on his face, “You don’t have to worry about that, you’re going to die today”
“Is that so?”, Rex mutters lightly without any hint of worry.
Putting his bloodied Amuerus Katana on his shoulder, he then added, “I’m feeling kind today, so I’ll give you guys one chance to leave this place with your lives”
His red eyes then darted left and right to the other Awakened,
Receiving Rex’s glance makes the other Awakened gulp harshly as they know that they’re no match for him, it’s clear that their objective here is to stall for time.
“You really think we’ll fall for such a petty threat?”, the leader chuckled mockingly.
He then added, “Many others are heading here as we speak, you don’t have anywhere to go”
Rex can only sigh as he also didn’t have that much hope that these guys are going to accept his mercy, “Alright then if that’s your choice”, he then glance at the Awakened in front of him.
“So then, you’re going to stall time with only this much?”, Rex added.
The Amuerus Katana on his shoulder is already bloodied from the blood of the Awakened he killed, he then swings it as the blood on the katana got splattered on the ground while sweeping his gaze on the Awakened from left to right.
Hearing this, the leader then replied, “Only this much?”
“What are you going to do? Kill us all in five minutes? Is that supposed to be some kind of joke?”, he added making the other Awakened also chuckle.
The laughter ended as the leader said, “You’re not killing me and this many easily”
“Do you really think I can’t?”, Rex suddenly said as his eyes glowed with black lightning.
This makes all of the Awakened unconsciously step back, the thought of them getting killed in just five minutes is supposed to be a joke.
Aside from that, they also believe that Rex will not be able to do that.
But seeing Rex grip the Amuerus Katana tightly made them start to doubt themselves whether they can survive Rex’s attack for five minutes.
Seeing their expression, Rex then said with an evil grin, “Bet!”

It happened in less than a second as each of the Awakened beside the leader got grabbed and lifted from the ground by the sky black lightning tentacles.
Their bodies are wrapped by the sky black lightning tentacles like prey caught by a snake.

The leader was surprised by this as he didn’t sense that the ground is already covered by Rex’s spell, he then glances at Rex fiercely but only gets a mocking smile from Rex instead.
All of the Awakened struggled to break free but using Mystic Shock, all of them were paralyzed.
With a wave of Rex’s hand,

The leader widen his eyes in horror, all of the Awakened that are caught got impaled by another sky black lightning tentacle killing them off instantly.

Devo is able to suppress all of their spirits easily, a sixth rank is nothing for Rex as he’s literally invincible in the sixth rank realm thanks to Devo.
There are not many struggles as they all were killed easily,
Many notifications appeared on Rex’s vision bringing a smile to his face, he then glance at the leader fiercely, “See? They didn’t last for more than a few seconds”
“FUCK YOU!!”, the leader shouted while activating his spirit.
His eyes turn bloodlust as the Awakened under him were killed right in front of his eyes, they’re all people he knew but all of them got killed easily like sheep.
The wind mana started to get concentrated on his body, “YOU’RE GOING TO DIE TOD-“
Before the leader can finish his sentence,

Out of nowhere, Rex’s entire body started radiating an even more powerful aura that shocks the leader as the vibe around Rex changed in an instant.
The leader can see the blistering of Rex’s aura that makes his entire body blurry.
It’s like seeing someone through the heat created by a scorching fire, Rex’s entire body becomes blurry in the leader’s vision as his aura contrast the air around him in density.
Without backing down, the leader dashes forward turning into a gust of wind.
His right arm started to get engulfed by a vortex of wind mana mixed with spirit energy, the leader’s eyes are bloodlust as he intends to punch Rex with all his power.
“Pneuma Spell! Noxious Spiral Punch!”
While the leader is activating his Pneuma Spell, Rex widens his eyes in surprise.
The swift movement of the leader in front of him becomes slow in his eyes almost in slow motion, but the thing that surprised Rex the most is not this but instead the coursing mana and spirit energy that is slowly heading to the leader’s arm.
‘I can see him channeling the Pneuma Spell!’, Rex thought in surprise.
Although Rex can feel the spell channeling of his enemies before, now he can literally see the spirit energy and wind mana moving to conjure the Pneuma Spell.
It’s shocking to see that he can experience this,
By seeing the channeling of the spirit energy and wind mana, Rex not only can predict its attacking trajectory but is also able to disrupt the conjuration of the spell.

Rex’s mouth quirked up into a smile as red force cloak his katana powerfully.
The red force enhances the Amuerus Katana’s sharpness further, he then steps on the ground creating a crack before he also dashes toward the leader.

In that swift moment,
Rex already stabs right where the spirit energy and the wind mana are merging together to conjure the Pneuma Spell, this disrupts the Pneuma Spell instantly.
Without a pause, he then retracts back his katana before stabbing the leader under his throat.
The blood coming from the leader’s neck and mouth started to drip down wetting his clothes in red, he is still in shock knowing that even a seventh rank like himself got taken out easily.
It’s horrifying to think of realizing that a peak sixth rank can do this to him,
Rex’s movement becomes faster and more precise thanks to the Extreme State, it’s horrifying.
“Wesley is right, you need to be dealt with as soon as possible”, the leader said before coughing out a mouthful of blood that doesn’t even manage to dirty Rex.
The red force barrier around Rex’s body blocks the blood,
With a dry smile knowing that he’s in the last second of his life, the leader then added, “You’re… You’re a monster”
Upon hearing this, Rex slowly pulls out his Amuerus Katana from the leader.
After the katana got pulled completely,
The leader falls to his knees while still looking at Rex since the katana holds the leader’s chin up, “I warn you before, you should’ve just left”, Rex added lightly.
p Without waiting for the leader to answer,
Rex swings his katana horizontally beheading the leader cleanly, the Amuerus Katana doesn’t have any difficulty cutting through a seventh rank Awakened’s head.

With this, Kyran will be able to progress faster to reach the sixth rank.
Rex looks around the place and saw many corpses lying on the ground, he then sighs, ‘I’ll let Evelyn clean this up’, he thought before he suddenly frowns.
There is a powerful aura heading towards them that Rex sensed,
Just from the aura alone, Rex knows that this approaching aura is stronger than the seventh rank Awakened that he just killed, ‘Let’s get out of here’

The three of them are already prepared to wait for at least ten or fifteen minutes, but the shout and sound of fighting only lasted a mere few minutes.
“It’s faster than I expected”, Evelyn mutters silently but is caught by Duncan.
Maurice then also replied from the side, “That’s not a surprise anymore, he’s stronger than last time so this should be expected”
Hearing this, Duncan glanced at the two before he thought, ‘Am I overreacting?’
‘No… Are they really that sure Rex can beat these Awakened? One of them is definitely the seventh rank just from this Awakened’s aura alone’
After a few minutes, there is only silence engulfing the place.
Not one sound can be heard except for a light stepping sound heading towards the VIP room they’re in, and this makes Duncan subconsciously hold their breath.
It didn’t take long before the footsteps stopped right in front of the room they were in.
The door then opened slowly revealing Rex holding a bloodied katana in his hand, he then glanced at Evelyn and said, “We need to leave”
“Shouldn’t we clean up the mess first?”, Evelyn asks.
But Rex shakes his head, “There’s an even more powerful Awakened heading here, we need to leave now let’s go”, he replied and turns back around.
Hearing this, Evelyn and Maurice stands up and follows after Rex.
Duncan also stood up still confused about the situation, but upon stepping outside the room he sucked in a cold breath, ‘I’ll never get used to this’
