Not many of the lecturers in Faraday University reached that rank, and as far as Rex knows only Chandler who trains him for a period of time to assimilate with Devo has that kind of power.
‘If I feed her the corpses now, will she increase in rank again?’, Rex thought with a frown.
Rex is deliberating whether this is a good time to feed Delta the corpses of Durrant, and the other powerful Undead that he killed.
Since Rex only hanged their heads before,
The remaining carcass of the powerful Undead he killed is still in his inventory, and they consist of a seventh rank, a peak sixth rank, and three mid-sixth rank carcass including Yolgos.
Just from the carcasses alone, Rex fears that Delta might reach the seventh rank.
‘Until it’s certain that Delta won’t go berserk again, I’ll refrain from feeding her these corpses lest she becomes too strong and I can’t handle her very well’, Rex thought as he pats Delta’s head.
It’s a reasonable decision, Rex doesn’t want to be hasty.
Although making Delta stronger and reaching the seventh rank will immensely raise his pack’s battle power, it comes with the risk that Rex can’t control Delta.
He needs to be in his Werewolf form to match the seventh rank power,
There’s no guarantee that Delta will listen to him if Rex is in his human form which is weaker compared to Delta if she manages to reach the seventh rank.
She might even recognize herself to be superior if that were to happen,
Just thinking about that makes Rex massage his forehead, he was not going to let that happen since dealing with it will be a pain for him.
After leaving Delta, Rex went straight to Evelyn’s room.
Since Evelyn is training against the Supernatural outside the city’s wall, the room is empty as Rex enters alongside Gistella.
Gistella sits on a sofa with her body arch like an arrow,
While Rex on the other hand went to sit on the bed before opening his phone, he then glances at Gistella before he said, “Stop being so tense if we’re not expecting a fight”
“As you wish master…”, Gistella replied as she leans back on the sofa.
But then Rex glances at her again before he asks, “Let me see the mark I gave you”
Hearing this, Gistella froze for a moment before she realized what Rex is saying as she pulls up her robe to let Rex see the Silverstar mark on the middle of her chest.
Rex widens his eyes when Gistella has no sense of private parts,
Since Gistella already turned half human and half Werewolf, her body also reflected that, and when she lifts up her robe her breasts also come into vision making Rex turns his head away.
“Don’t do that again, you’re human now so make sure to have some shame”, Rex said.
But Gistella was confused as to what Rex meant as it can be seen clearly on her face, and this makes Rex sigh, ‘I’ll let Adhara teach some senses to her, that’s dangerous’
Although he only saw a glimpse since Gistella has no shame,
Rex notices that the Silverstar mark he gave to Gistella is starting to turn white in color from the original black, she will be turning into a full-fledged Werewolf in a bit.
Aside from that, Rex also notices something different about Gistella.
‘Now that I look at it, she’s way more muscular than normal isn’t she?’, Rex thought as she glance at Gistella who is starting to blink her eyes heavily.
The muscular tone on her abdomen and even her frame was bigger than normal,
Evelyn who is also a well-built woman with toned muscles doesn’t compare that much to Gistella, her frame is slightly smaller than Gistella which is weird.
‘Did her bloodline influenced more by Werewolf bloodline?’, Rex thought in confusion.
But even if he thought about it, Rex will not find the answer as he opened the inventory tab to check on the items he haven’t used from the quests he finished before.
There are a couple of items,
Rex read the Kox’Rol core that he got from finishing Durrant’s company off, turns out it is a consumable item that increased his body level by an astonishing 6 levels.
It raises his Endurance stat thanks to that,
After that, Rex taps the second one that he got after killing Yolgos and clearing the achievement from the system as a description appeared in his vision,
<Unholy Eyes of the Undead>
This item is an eighth rank item that is nurtured in the Netherworld and pumped full of pure Death Energy, upon consuming this item will grant the one that consumes it the power of the Unholy Eyes which will increase all mental attacks potency by 50%
Rex reads the item description and a smile started to blossom after reading the end of it.
Without wasting any second, Rex takes out the Unholy Eyes of the Undead from the inventory before two black with yellow irises eyeballs appear on his hand,
It immediately blasted the room with pure Death Energy that caught Rex in surprise,
Gistella who is already sleeping again on the side opened her eyes wide when she felt the pure Death Energy, she jolted from the sofa before her eyes landed on Rex.
Rex hurriedly follows the system’s direction,
He imbued his lightning mana into the eyeballs until the eyeballs slowly turns into black lightning particles, and then he engraved these particles into his eyes.

Upon touching the black lightning particles,
Rex immediately groans as he closes his eyes feeling that his eyes are burning,
It didn’t take long before a notification from the system appeared in front of him signing that the absorption process has completed.

After the process finished, Rex is excited as he saw the notification.

Upon seeing his stats, Rex noticed that his mental stats raised the most which surprises him, ‘I did kill quite a lot of Liches these couple of days, maybe that’s why’, Rex thought.
The Whiro Necklace of fear that now turns into Necklace of Despair caused this,
It has the effect of gaining 2 Mental stats for every creature that he killed that has a higher mental stat than him and thus resulting in more than a hundred increase in stats.
Since the liches are spell-heavy, they have a high mental stat.
Rex killed a bunch of them during the fight with the three Undead companies before, and this increase can be considered low for how many Liches he killed.
Aside from that, Rex also puts the 9 Attributable stats into his agility stat.
Out of all of his stats, his agility now is the most lacking since he had gifts in other stats except for his agility stat.
So he will now focus on increasing his agility and also strength,
While Rex is dwelling on looking at his stats, the door suddenly got knocked on hurriedly before he got up from bed and opens the door.
Rex was surprised when he saw many descendants are in front of his room,
“What happened?”, Rex asks with a frown.
But the descendants look at him weirdly before one of them asks, “We sensed death energy coming from your room, so that’s why we come here to check if something happened”
“Oh, it’s nothing. I’m checking on the seventh rank Undead carcass”, Rex lied.
Hearing this, the descendants were caught off guard but since the pure Death Energy is very intense it makes sense for it to come from a seventh rank Undead carcass.
After saying that, Rex then said, “Notify me if the others have been treated”
“As soon as they have been treated, we will teleport back to Ratmawati City to report the completion of our mission”, he added before the descendants nodded their heads and dispersed.
With that out of the way, Rex close back the door and jumped into the bed.
Rex told Gistella to go back to sleep but it seems she can’t, the sudden burst of pure Death Energy surprises her so much making her black heart pump faster,
But Rex was not focusing on her but on his phone instead,
Since Liliya and Velten told him that the SCO is preparing to meet with the UWO, Rex is trying to search the news regarding the official date of the meetings between the two organizations.
It should be near since the SCO is already preparing,
Rex scrolls through the news app but doesn’t find any news regarding the official date, this makes him sigh but he understands the preparation will take a while.
This will birth a new alliance and the SCO will become a well-known organization after this.
From Rex’s knowledge about the SCO, this organization seems to come from Ratmawati City and the other major cities of the Elpida Alliance don’t know about the SCO yet.
But with the alliance, the other major cities will definitely know sooner or later.
Perhaps even the SCO might be able to expand to the other big eight cities of the Elpida Alliance, and if that were to happen many normal humans can become stronger.
Humanity then will have its power raised tremendously,
Although that should be the case, Rex shakes his head as he knows that the UWO will not let the SCO expand rapidly as it might disturb the power of the UWO.
While scrolling through the news app, Rex stops on interesting news coming from the other major cities of Elpida Alliance.
Rex opens the news and reads the article thoroughly,
The article explains the Supernatural found a way to turn humans into their race, and aside from the first attack in Ratmawati City, other major cities also experienced the same kinds of attacks from the Supernatural.
Since Ratmawati City is the first one to get caught off guard by this,
Other major cities are already notified about the Supernatural’s plan in exploiting the humans’ unawareness, but thanks to the quick communication many major cities have already made precautions if the Supernaturals tried to do the same to them.
The causality is relatively low because of this,
But one of the major cities, Laross City suffer a great defeat just like Ratmawati City.
Dragonman race from the Supernatural sides manage to sneak in the humans turned Dragonman, it rampage through one of the crucial associated city of Laross City.
As many as two hundred thousand humans died from the attack,
This was a devastating defeat almost the same as Ratmawati City’s defeat if not greater, and the news shocked Rex greatly since it was very bad.

After reading the article about the attack in Laross City, Rex scrolls down a couple more after filtering the news app to news related to Ratmawati City.
Rex found hot news coming from Ratmawati City.
It’s about an incident in a market just like the Platchi’s Fire Band Market,
But this market was owned by another family from the 25 Golden Crest, this market deals in items brought back by the Scavengers roaming in the Supernatural territory.
Its scale was not as big as the ATC but it’s quite well known for its price.
One of the shops associated was attacked by a rogue Awakened,
Since there is nothing to do except wait for the descendants to finish getting treated, Rex decided to just watch the testimony from the guards there.
“It’s not the first time we got attacked”
“This person seems to search for an item in a couple of our branch markets, it’s certain that this person is an Awakened that is really good at masking their aura and hiding”
“Because of its ability in stealth, we haven’t managed to collide with this person”
“Today is the first time we collide with the person, this person is confirmed to be a guy but from looking at his eyes I can tell that he’s young. This guy turns out to be very strong, at least a peak fifth rank Awakened but unfortunately, it only tries to escape so we haven’t found what elements associated with that Awakened”
“What is this Awakened’s target? Have you noticed the pattern?”
“Although it’s hard to pinpoint what this Awakened wanted, it seems he’s searching for an or-“
Before the guard can finish talking, Rex already closed the app as he shakes his head, ‘In this time, there are still those kinds of Awakened huh?”
‘If he’s really that good at stealth, he wouldn’t get caught in the first place’
After checking out the news, the door handle makes a sound as Evelyn walks into the room with her body sweating profusely from fighting the Supernaturals.
Rex smile teasingly as he teased, “Training much?”
“You’re back?”, Evelyn widen her eyes in surprise, her expression then turns annoyed as she instantly went to the bathroom while rolling her eyes.
Looking at this, Rex chuckles as he scrolls through his phone again.
Then Evelyn asks from inside the bathroom, “Did you manage to finish getting the spirit for Adhara? It must be powerful if you’re the one searching for it”
“Yup, and it’s quite good. At least as good as yours”, Rex replied.
Hearing this, Evelyn was surprised before she shakes her head, “The descendants are getting ready downstairs, we can depart in a bit”
“Okay, I’ll get ready too”, Rex replied as he stands up from the bed.
