Powerful dark fire mana blasted from Edward’s body as he push Zelene to his back, his eyes are burning in anger as he stood up straight with a brutal expression on his face.
Edward’s aura is rising by the second making Hans stepped back in surprise,
“He’s reaching all the way to the sixth rank realm!”, Hans exclaimed as he readies his sword, the situation turns for the worst as the grin full of confidence from before vanished.
Seeing his stiff stance shows that Hans was not in control of the situation anymore.
Shing!
Edward unsheathed his daggers as the dark fire started to spread to both of his daggers, “You lay your dirty finger on my family!”
“You went back from your own words”
“And you even insulted Rex!”
The aura started to become chaotic as Edward gritted his teeth in anger, his muscles started to bulge as he looks at Hans menacingly, “Congratulation, you just sealed your death!”
A terrifying momentary silence covers arrive as they both lock eyes.
BOOM!
Edward suddenly dashes forward faster than Hans’ eyeballs to see, he suddenly already arrives in front of Hans as he swings both of his daggers with all his might.
CRASH!
“What?!”, Hans exclaimed when he saw Edward suddenly already attacked him.
The powerful swing from Edward’s daggers burning with dark fire pushed him back as the both of them crashes outside of the house, Hans is currently looking at Edward in disbelief as he was surprised by Edward’s raw strength.
With the addition of the blue apple that Edward just ate, it’s clear his power has risen.
For him to actually push Hans back shows that his power reached the peak of the sixth rank power, the rise in power shocks Hans so much as Edward’s eyes burn with dark fire.
“RAARGHH!”
CLANG!
Edward puts more power knocking Hans’ entire body as he spins in the air.
Hans suddenly saw his vision start spinning, his body is spinning in the air by Edward’s raw strength that almost as if he’s an Awakened juiced with steroids.
Dark fire mana gathers on Edward’s arms as he chanted, “Fire Titan Art! Colossal Punch!”
BOOM!
“HUAKHH!”, Hans spat a mouthful of blood as he got punched right on his stomach.
The dark fire mana concentrated on the tip of Edward’s fist, and it explodes after making contact with Hans’ stomach sending him crashing away.
His body broke the trees in the surroundings as he crashes into the park not far from here.
After punching Hans powerfully, Edward glance around and find that the people living here can already be seen running toward the entrance in fear.
Edward then dashes again towards the park intending to finish Hans off,
“Kuahk!”, Hans spat a mouthful of blood again as he kneels on all four, the punch from Edward penetrate through the wind barrier that he created in the nick of time.
It was very powerful as if he’s fighting a real peak sixth rank Awakened, “Impossible…”
“What kind of mutated fruit is that, to actually raise his power by an entire realm! He didn’t even have a spirit, this should be impossible!”, Hans mutters in disbelief.
Before the situation escalated like this, Hans didn’t think much of Edward.
Fighting a peak the fifth rank Awakened whilst he himself is a sixth rank Awakened is supposed to be child’s play, there’s no comparison between the two.
With the spirit energy, a sixth rank Awakened can obliterate a fifth rank Awakened.
Fifth rank Awakened’s elemental prowess is only enhanced by a rune they made, the sixth rank on the other hand is strengthened by a spirit on top of the rune they made which is way denser and more powerful than a rune.
But now, Hans is in a state of disbelief.
He got hurt this much from a fifth rank Awakened punch, his mind is scattered right now.
BAM!
Edward landed right in front of him making Hans looks up in horror, the dark fire coated around his body and daggers glistening sharply makes Edward look horrifying.
The chaotic mana around him is splashing fire to the surrounding like an erupting volcano.
“Don’t get cocky you bastard, this is not over!!”, Hans shouted as a snake spirit materializes behind him, the wind mana on his body sends a shockwave cutting the trees in half.
With glowing green eyes, Hans then chanted, “Elementalist Domain, Whirling Tornado!”

Out of nowhere, the surrounding win started to spin creating a tornado that engulfs Edward who is inside of the tornado unmoving from his spot.
Despite the powerful gush of wind, Edward didn’t get lifted from his spot.
Seeing this, Hans gritted his teeth as he becomes one with the tornado turning into a gust of wind while hawking at Edward fiercely.
His entire body merges with the wind, and his movements seem to be faster too.
Edward stands on his spot with his body blazing with dark fire before Hans suddenly appeared from the back, the sword in his hand glows as he smirks evilly.
SLASH!
Hans slashed his sword with a wide grin seeing that Edward can’t react to his movement.
But then suddenly, “Fire Titan Art, Unbreakable Body!”
CLANG!
Right after Edward chants that, his body suddenly becomes glossy as the dark fire got engraved inside his skin increasing his skin toughness by a mile.
Hans widen his eyes when he saw the sword didn’t manage to penetrate Edward.
“Is that all you got? Hans the Snake…”, Edward mumbles as he turns his head to the side, the mocking look on Edward’s face makes Hans grit his teeth in anger.
His face turns red in anger as he shouted, “Don’t underestimate me!!”
“Great Spell, Hurricane Wind Bladestorm!”, Hans chanted as his body disappear and reappear while attacking Edward from all sides, the sword in his hand is glowing green fiercely.
He was moving akin to a snake slithering around the tornado,
But even with its fast movement trying to take down its prey, Hans’ sword only creates a spark as it made contact with Edward’s body.
Wind Elementalist has high penetration attribute, but that doesn’t work right now.
Hans desperately attacks Edward from all angles but Edward’s body is as solid as a rock, nothing manages to penetrate or even cut his skin, ‘How is this possible?! My strike is not strong enough?!’
“It’s my turn now…”, Edward mutters as his dark fire becomes violent.
The dark fire didn’t increase the temperature in the surroundings instead, it’s almost as if the fire is terrifying cold and it feels and looks unnatural.
After saying that, a fire titan appeared behind Edward’s body.
The fire titan is black now thanks to Edward’s element and this fire titan is not a spirit, but it’s a materialization of the art that Edward is currently using.
With a darkened look, Edward concentrated his fire mana before bursting it into the surrounding.
ROAR!!

“What?!”, Hans exclaimed when suddenly black flames burst from Edward’s body, the black flame splashes the surrounding before suddenly,
WHOOSH!
Hans widens his eyes when the black flames become even more powerful than before,
Looking at the surprised look on Hans’ expression, Edward then said with a mocking smirk, “You forget that I’m a Fire Elementalist, this wind of yours is just fuel for my fire”
After hearing Edward’s words, Hans wanted to leave the tornado but it was too late.
“ARGHH!!”, Hans shouted feeling his body getting burned by the dark fire tornado, with the last bit of strength he uses his wind element to propel himself out of the dark fire tornado.
The wind mana gathers on his hand powerfully,
He then punch the air in front of him pushing his body outside of the tornado, he crashed and roll on the ground a couple of times after managing to break free.
It almost didn’t work from how powerful the suction of the dark fire tornado is,
Hans manages to escape the dark fire tornado, he then glances at his right arm and finds that his right arm got turned into black charcoal ash.
It’s non-existent right now,
“Just where did things go wrong, How did he possess such a powerful mutated fruit?”, Hans mutters as he looks at his non-existent right arm in disbelief.
Even his sword got lost inside the dark fire tornado, he didn’t have any weapon right now.
SWOOSH!
The dark fire tornado dissipated as Edward walks out leisurely,
Hans starts to back away slowly as Edward makes his way to him, with the blue apple taking effect Hans can’t do anything to Edward that seems to be invincible in the sixth rank realm.
It’s clear from the exchange, Edward didn’t even need to defend Hans’ blade.
A terrifying gap existed between the two of them thanks to the blue apple, and the advantages of Fire Elementalist against Wind Elementalist do Edward a favor here too.
‘Is the effect wearing off? I can feel the energy stirring inside me’, Edward thought.
As powerful as the blue apple effect was, there is certainly a time limit and Edward can feel the time limit for the boost in power is nearing the end.
With a serious look, Edward then ducks his battle stance lower.
The stance that he’s in with two daggers in his hands is airtight and looks sturdy, “Let’s end this, I’ve had enough of you”, he said making Hans sweat bullets.
BOOM!
Dark fire swirls around his body, it coils around Edward’s body creating a spiral.
If Rex were here he will instantly know this stance of his, this is the stance when Edward is using the most powerful spell in his arsenal that he got to see at Lountain City once.
Edward’s eyes sparks fiercely as his muscle tensed, “Fire Titan Art, Colossal Tear!!”

With the last remaining time of the boost from the blue apple, Edward dashes forward turning into a dark fiery arrow that turns everything the fire touches into black ash.
The same fire titan materializes again as the dark fire coats Edward’s entire body.
Just from the mana coming from this spell and the intensity of the dark flame around Edward’s body, Hans is sure that he will not survive his attack.
It takes but a blink of an eye as Edward arrives in front of Hans,
But Edward’s eyes suddenly saw a green crystal that Hans is holding, he then shakes his head as he thrust both of his daggers powerfully right at the same time Hans crushed the green crystal.
BAM!!
A powerful shockwave exploded from the collision cracking the ground beneath them.
Edward was thrusting forward with all his might but he suddenly frown when he feel some resistance from the other side, the wind mana covering Hans’ body is very sturdy.
It was even more powerful than Edward’s dark fire as their collision exploded.
BOOM!
The explosion blasted Edward away as he hits a couple of trees, he also destroyed a statue of an Awakened hero and also crashed into a house nearby before he finally stop 300 feet away.
“Krghh!”, Edward grunted as he support his body up.
With the smoke covering his vision, he can’t see anything as he struggles to stand up.
‘Where is he?’, Edward thought darting his eyes left and right, he then dashes forward to search for Hans but he’s nowhere to be seen.
The place where they both collided is right by his side,
But there’s no sign of Hans, and he’s certainly not dead because Edward knows that weird wind barrier that collided with his colossal tear managed to protect Hans.
‘He escaped…’, Edward thought as he falls to his knees.
The blue apple boosting effect starts to wear off as his strength slowly decreases to the point he becomes weaker than a peak fifth rank, it’s the after effect of the blue apple.
He will be weakened for a while thanks to overexerting his body due to the blue apple.
While Edward is steadying his breathing, an ominous feeling suddenly appears on his back making Edward looks back, “You’re dead now!”
On his back, Edward widen his eyes when he saw Hans is already near him.
The fierce glint in his eyes is obvious as Hans intends to kill Edward, he stretches his hand forward trying to grab Edward’s throat, ‘I can’t dodge this!’, Edward exclaimed in his thought.
But then suddenly,
BAM!
A man suddenly appears from the side before kicking Hans right on his face, the kick sends Hans screeching in a straight line on the ground and it looks very painful.
Edward glanced at the man and frowned since he didn’t recognize him,
Hans touches his teeth and finds some of them are missing because of the kick, he then glances in Edward’s direction and found a man standing beside him.
Knowing that there’s a powerful figure helping Edward, Hans gritted his teeth.
His body then turns into a gust of wind as he escapes the place, the man that saved Edward didn’t pursue him as he straightens his body.
Before Edward can even say something, another crashing sound can be heard.
The crashing sound came from the left as Edward saw a figure clad in black just like the ones inside the house getting chased by two other guys.
It seems the figure is hurt judging from the wounds and his tattered clothes.
Edward and the figure’s eyes made eye contact for a second, but without paying Edward any mind the wind mana gathers on the figure’s feet as he dashes away leaving the place.
‘Isn’t that…’, Edward thought with a frown.
But before he can think of the figure that past him before, chattering can be heard from the side as Edward glance to his right.
“Shit! He got away!”
“What are you doing, we’re tasked to capture the leader! How can you be so reckless to punch him like that, he’s a Wind Elementalist for christ’s sake. The book told us to never end a fight against Wind Elementalist with that kind of attack, you should’ve used your sword!”
“Alright, Alright, I get it!”
“The king will be pissed if he knows we fail, damn it! You have to take the blame!”
“Why me? We’re a team right?”
Edward heard a bunch of chattering as two guys clad in normal clothes walks side by side, they look to be around his age but Edward frowned when he doesn’t feel any mana from them.
The man on his side also didn’t have any mana, but he’s certainly strong.
‘Who are they? They’re not an Awakened’, Edward thought in confusion.
The two guys suddenly saw Edward kneeling on the side beside the man as their eyes widen, both of them approach Edward, “Thank god you’re okay!”
“At least we did something right”
Seeing the look of concern in their expression makes Edward tilts his head in confusion, he then asks, “Who are you guys?”
“Us? We’re a black hand”, one of them replied.
After saying that, the one that replied then rubs his nose as his face reddened in embarrassment, “It feels good to say that, I can’t believe we can step into the light!”
“Stop with your embarrassing act, you’re making me look bad!”
The two guys are bickering with each other but the man beside Edward is silent.
While looking at the three, Edward then thought, ‘Black hand? They’re from the SCO? But why are they here, did they also follow me?’
“Man, you shouldn’t disappear in the mall like that”
“We’re late because you somehow disappear, you could’ve died!”, one of the guys said.
Hearing this, Edward becomes even more confused since the two guys seem to be following him also, “I’m sorry, but why are you guys here?”
“You didn’t know? Rex asks the organization to watch over you guys…”

Meanwhile, a city near Eqosa City.
An Undead sitting inside a dim-lighted room can be seen meditating calmly, the moonlight penetrates through from the window on its side as the only source of light.
The Undead wore a very dark blue robe that covers its entire body.
On the side of the Undead, there’s a levitating wooden staff with a dark blue orb on its tip that is emitting a horrifying amount of death energy.
Aside from that, the dark blue horn sprouting on the Undead forehead also emits weird energy.
While this Undead is meditating in its own room, the door to the room is opened slowly as an astral female Undead with red hair came inside the room.
This Undead is levitating in the air as she made way into the room,
“Yolgos, What are we going to do with the humans? Their act can’t be forgiven, we must attack them right now to show them our supremacy!”, the astral Undead said.
It then added, “The Origins will bless us! We must sacrifice their lives!!”
Hearing this, the meditating blue-robed Undead glance at the astral Undead.
The blue-robed Undead then stands up from its seat and said, “Don’t be hasty, the humans even manage to kill Durrant’s company and it seems we’re the last one. So we’re going to remain here patiently for the reinforcement”
“But their act is unforgivable! How could the-“, before the astral Undead can finish,
Yolgos glared at the astral Undead making her shut her mouth, it then said, “Be patient, we only need to buy time for the Werewolf’s reinforcement, they are obviously trying to lure us out of the city to ambush us. Even if they killed Durrant, they know they won’t be able to enter this place”
After saying that, a skeleton suddenly rushes inside the room.
“Great Yolgos, There’s a Werewolf at the south gate”, the skeleton said.
Hearing this, Yolgos glanced at the levitating Undead with a meaningful look, “You see? The reinforcement has come, we can massacre them now…”
