Durrant’s body is fat and wide making him look huge compared to Rex’s lean body, his stomach is a mouth with razor-sharp teeth with turtle shells on his back with deadly spikes covering it.
His form is bizarre, especially the black crystal on his forehead that emits Death Energy.
After scanning Durrant’s stats, Rex frown since Durrant’s stats almost matches his.
Durrant’s stats are the highest ones that Rex has ever scanned, it was even higher than Ana Delarosa whom he fought so desperately with Jarvald and still lost before.
The difference between the two of them are evident,
While Ana Delarosa has a ridiculously high Agility stat, Durrant in front of him has high Strength and Endurance stats which differentiate their fighting styles.
But the difference in overall stats was too much, this Undead right here is very strong!
‘He’s strong but I’m still stronger’, Rex thought as he looks at his stats.

Even his Strength and Endurance stats has already reached the 2000 points mark which is insane, and now Rex has the confidence to fight against Durrant in front of him.
“I’m surprised to find that you’re a Prince, Who would’ve thought about such a twist”, Durrant said softly after seeing the horns sticking out of his head.
Rex smiles mockingly, “Why? Are you scared?”
“On the contrary, I’m glad to have a chance to kill such a being like you”, Durrant replied.

The black crystal in his forehead started to glow with death energy as the mouth on his stomach bares its razor-sharp teeth, Durrant’s aura is starting to get violent destroying his surroundings.
But upon seeing this, Rex also didn’t back down.
“I’m also excited”, Rex replied with a nasty grin, he was looking at Durrant’s monstrous aura.
The excited look on his face came out of nowhere when he saw Durrant’s emitting a horrifying aura, ‘I didn’t feel pressured by his aura’, Rex thought with a grin.
Back when he meet Ana Delarosa, he got goosebumps just from her presence alone.
Now, when an even more powerful Supernatural emits such an aura that even triumphs over Ana Delarosa, Rex doesn’t feel pressured anymore.
It’s clear that his power has increased tremendously,
Early seventh rank Supernatural is not an opponent he can’t defeat, on the contrary, Rex clenched his hands feeling that he can defeat this monstrous Undead in front of him, “You’re going to be the first out of many Seventh Rank Supernatural that I will kill”

The death aura coming from Durrant got suppressed heavily by the mixed energy coming from the Pure Brace of Moonlight, red force, and black lightning.
CRACK!
Durrant puts his guard up upon feeling Rex’s violent and destructive energy,
Although it’s just been a minute since he arrived, the confident and smug air around him dispersed instantly feeling that his aura alone got suppressed.
“Gustava! Stand up”, Durrant commanded hurriedly.
Durrant is still looking at Rex warily since even Durrant felt threatened by just his aura alone, he was confident before but not now seeing the sudden shot of aura of Rex.
Even when he landed a solid sneak blow catching Rex off guard,
Rex’s reflex is too fast and his senses are sharp, he manages to block a perfect sneak attack imbued with Death Energy from a seventh rank Supernatural.
Durrant glanced to the side when he heard no response from Gustava,
“I need your spells to protect me against this Prince, Go cast a p-“, while he’s turning his head to the side, Durrant instructed Gustava to use her spells but stopped when he saw Gustava.
Gustava is shaking from her head to toes from Rex’s aura,
The Mythical Presence that Rex felt takes effect, and it overwhelms Gustava’s entire being.
Durrant glances to the side and finds Gustava is still kneeling on the ground unmoving, she glances at Rex a couple of times but seeing Rex’s sharp glare she doesn’t have the courage to stand up.
Looking at this, Durrant is starting to get angry, “You are a disgrace to the Undead!”
“She’s not a disgrace”, Rex suddenly intervenes from the side.
Hearing this, Durrant glanced at Rex smugly before Rex added, “She just realized the difference in power and decided to step aside, unlike you who doesn’t have a brain in that thick skull of yours”

Rex dashes like a madman turning into a streak of lightning,
A thundering sound was produced before Rex appeared in front of Durrant with two of his sword, his eyes glisten violently as he swings both of his swords down powerfully.
Durrant saw this as he turns around and crouch anticipating Rex’s attack,
His hard shell on the back glows with death energy, there is an uncomfortable feeling coming from the death energy but Rex decided to just go through it.
BANG!
The silver sword and Amuerus Katana hits Durrant’s hardshell cracking the ground beneath Durrant, Rex’s blow was very powerful that it trashed the surrounding.
Rex’s silver sword started to sizzle Durrant’s hardshell,
Holy properties and silver sword work perfectly against an Undead like Durrant, but the hardshell is too thick and sturdy and impossible to crack it from one attack.
After blocking Rex’s attack, Durrant swings its big arms swatting Rex away.
While twisting his body in the air, Rex suddenly catches a dark rune that appeared in front of Durrant’s big mouth on his stomach as he chanted, “Gleam of Demolition!”

Death energy gathers on the dark rune until suddenly,

A Black ray of death energy shot from Durrant’s big mouth that is ten or even a hundred times more powerful than the Death Ray from Mother Gebbo.
Rex punched the air with red force propelling his body to dodge the black ray,

A straight burnt line spans across a mile was created from Durrant’s spell, everything that got hit by the black ray whither and dies.
‘Shit, where are they?!’, Rex thought turning his head to the side.
Because of the black ray, the ground trembled and the ground started to crack.
The woman and Leo’s corpse are still here and Rex forgot about that, the destruction they caused to the surroundings makes Rex worry about the woman.
Scanning the place, Rex saw the woman is lying on the side.
From the looks of it, the woman seems to be fine but she almost got hit by a huge rock that lands right beside her, ‘I need to bring them away’
Looking at Rex getting distracted,
Durrant also looks in the direction of the woman before he thought of an evil thing, but Rex soon catches Durrant’s scheme as he gritted his teeth.

Rex’s movement is lightning fast and Durrant was taken aback,
He then points both of his swords at Durrant before he imbued red force into them.
The red force gathers on the tip of Rex’s swords turning him into a meteor of red force, he then stabs both swords with all his might, “Force Beam!”
CLANG!!
“RAARGH!!”, Durrant shouted since his big mouth just got stabbed.

A notification from the system appeared in Rex’s vision as the Ameurus Katana does its effect, every slash that Rex landed will reduce Durrant’s stats.
Slashing Durrant’s hardshell doesn’t work, it’s proven before.
But now that Rex manages to land a solid hit on Durrant’s mouth, the Ameurus Katana finally takes effect before flinging Durrant’s body away.

Durrant was sent crashing away destroying everything on his path, Rex manage to land a solid blow before Durrant can even turn around to hide behind its hard shell.
But before Rex can even rejoice, “Hmm?”
Rex looks down to the ground when he felt intense mana gathers on the ground, his eyes then widened before he turns into a streak of lightning again heading towards the woman.

Without wasting a single second, Rex grabs the woman and jumps high into the air.

Hundreds of black ice spikes blasted from the ground in a mile radius impaling anything that got hit by them, the scale was horrifying and if Rex is late for even a second it’ll be bad.
Rex manages to save the woman but then suddenly,
Another black ice spike longer and thicker sprouted from the ground aiming at them, but Rex just like before propel himself while carrying the woman by punching the air with red force.
With his immense reflex, he’s able to dodge it perfectly.
But right after he dodges the black spike Rex’s eyes suddenly widen when a black ray suddenly arrived in front of his eyes, Durrant’s attack was timed perfectly.
Rex’s body moved automatically, he hugs the woman before turning his body.
BOOM!
The black energy landed right on Rex’s back as he protects the woman, he was blasted away like a broken kite before crashing to the ground roughly making a huge crater.
Throughout that scene, Rex protects the woman.
Even when they crash to the ground, Rex protects the woman by taking the fall with his back.
With Rex’s Werewolf form, the woman’s body got protected fully since his sheer size is at least three times bigger than the woman’s entire body.
“Arrgh!”, Rex grunted feeling his back burning with death energy.
The regenerative ability that Rex got started to kick in but the death energy is fighting back, it didn’t get easily healed normally putting a pained expression on Rex’s face.

Hearing this, Rex stands up slowly holding back his anger after confirming that the woman is already safe inside this Astral state.
Durrant is amused seeing Rex’s trembling body, “You’re angry by this marvelous scene”
“Even your killing intent can’t be hidden just from seeing the impaled corpses, you’re a Werewolf and you must know that this is a befitting punishment for the humans”, Durrant added.
But then Durrant suddenly realizes, “Unless, you’re not actually a Werewolf. What are you, prince?”

“What?!”, Durrant exclaimed when suddenly a clean straight cut appeared on its stomach, Rex arrived beside him in a blink of an eye without giving him any moment to react.
Rex’s eyes flash ferociously as he swings both of his swords,

Both of the swords dance along with Rex’s arms as if they are one with Rex, the flurry of slashes from the two swords overwhelms Durrant’s defense.
“Force Beam”, Rex chanted as both of his swords glows with a red hue.
Looking at this, Durrant wanted to turn his body around to hide behind his hardshell but his movement is too slow to anticipate Rex’s attack.
STAB!
ROAR!
Durrant roared painfully as he got sent crashing away,
But the attack didn’t stop as a lightning bolt descend down from the sky and hit Durrant cleanly, the black lightning mana shouldn’t hurt him but Durrant felt an immense amount of pain.
Turns out Rex stabbed Durrant with his swords utilizing the Ether Blink spell,
He then flashes steps again before suddenly appearing beside Durrant who is still crashing away, his body is enveloped with black lightning as he swings his swords again.
BAM!
Rex did it a couple of times decreasing Durrant’s stats even further,
If anyone can see the fight right now, they will see a flash of black lightning blitzing around the place as Durrant got blasted left and right helplessly.
Rex’s movement is too fast for Durrant,
At this point, Durrant already realized the Amuerus Katana is draining his power away from each slash than landed on him.
Even though he knew, there was nothing he can do.
Rex is relentless with his attacks, there are no openings as he kept his offense tight.

He blitzed past Durrant who already sustained numerous injuries across his body, his swords are already stained by Durrant’s blood leaving the sharp part of the swords black.
Thud!
“ARGHH!!”, Durrant shouted as one of his arms got chopped off.
Dark blood spurted from Durrant’s chopped arm, the silver sword sliced through the arm cleanly and kept sizzling Durrant’s skin as he held his chopped arm in pain.
Rex turns his body around slowly with a fierce glare, “Do you have any last words?”
Both of his swords glow with red force as Rex tilted his head to the side fiercely, his eyes are burning with killing intent preparing for the final blow but out of nowhere,
“YOU FAKE WEREWOLF!! DO YOU REALLY THINK IT’S EASY TO KILL ME!!”, Durrant shouted angrily as his body burst with intense dark energy.
‘Let’s just end this’, Rex thought as he ducked his stance lower.
Rex gathers all of his energy into both of his swords concentrating to the max, his muscle also bulged preparing to dash powerfully but then suddenly,
Durran’s body got overwhelmed with death energy as he points to the sky,
The tip of his finger spawned a black rune as he points to the sky, death energy gathers on the black rune as he shouted crazily, “DON’T UNDERESTIMATE A SEVENTH RANK UNDEAD!!”
“HAARRGHH!!!”, Durrant pours all of his power into the black crystal on his forehead.
Because of this, the black crystal got imbued with immense Death Energy that makes it start to shake vigorously pumping death energy as if it’s being possessed by something.
Death aura shot to the sky as Durrant’s pressure makes the ground tremble,
After gathering enough Death Energy, Durrant looks at Rex crazily as he shouted, “I’m going to show you, how powerful an Undead spell is!!”

“Blockage of the Undead!”, Durrant chanted,

Rex suddenly feels a hot burning sensation on his horns and also a painful feeling on his chest, it’s like his horns are burned and his chest is stabbed by a sword.
Even his back is still sizzling from death energy, this puts Rex in a grim situation.
The black rune glows with death energy powerfully,
With the continuous death energy pumped from the black crystal, the rune above Durrant slowly grows even bigger.
Durrant then glares at Rex violently, “DEATH MAGIC!! BLANKET OF THE MOON!!”

Rex widens his eyes when powerful death energy shot into the sky turning the already darkness of the night darker, there is a thin dark blanket that covers the entire sky!
It’s certainly the spell Durrant just cast,
After the chant, the feeling on Rex’s horns and chest gets even stronger.
‘What is happening?! I can’t breathe!’, Rex thought while holding his chest, he’s bending his body while gasping for air but he tries to keep his stand.
After the blanket is established, Rex looks up strugglingly before he steps back in shock!
