The moonlight enters his body like a flow of water, his body felt refreshed from the inside and the outside.
Rex channels the moonlight inside his body according to the book, he felt his body growing stronger because of it.
He took a deep breath and let the moonlight flow throughout his body,
While Rex was meditating, Adhara is walking to the rooftop to get the moonlight.
After becoming Werewolf, she tends to go to the rooftop every night just because the moonlight is addicting for her.
When she arrived at the rooftop, she saw Rex sitting while closing his eyes.
Adhara smiles cheekily and sits beside him.
She then snuggles under Rex’s arm and leans on his chest,
Rex didn’t get disturbed in his meditation, he is currently immersed in the feeling of the breathing technique.
With that, three hours passed,
Rex opened his eyes slowly, he felt his body refreshed, he didn’t even need to sleep because of the moonlight.
He then felt something leaning on him and saw Adhara sleeping soundly on his chest,
The moonlight act as a wingman that highlights Adhara’s sleeping face, as if the moon itself reminds Rex about Adhara’s beauty.
Looking at this, Rex decided to let Adhara sleep some more as he resumes his meditation.
The next day,
Rex is meditating all night long, he’s now on his bed playing with his phone.
Last night, after meditating, he then carries Adhara to her room. Thankfully, the key to her room is in her pocket.
Along the way, Adhara didn’t even budge, Rex almost thought that she’s sick if not for the System telling him no.
He got 1300 Exp from last night’s meditation, it is plentiful compare to his normal 50 Exp he got from daily quests.
At 7, Rex wakes up from his bed and goes to his classroom.
Arriving at the classroom, he sits beside Adhara as usual but today Laura also sits beside him.
Getting another beautiful girl sitting beside him, the guys in his classroom sent an envious gaze at him.
‘Not only Adhara but also Laura too?! I hate that guy!’
‘What’s so good about him anyway’

If Rex can hear what the guys are thinking maybe he will throw up blood because of how cringe they are, he then plays with his phone while waiting for Mr. Joseph.
While he was playing, suddenly Adhara tugged his arm,
Rex glance at Adhara, Adhara shoves her phone on Rex’s face, “Look at this! Last night, Zrolis City is attacked by a pack of Werewolf”
“What?!”, Rex grabbed Adhara’s phone and look at the news.
The news said that Zrlois City has been razed by a pack of Werewolf last night, All of the troops in the city has been killed with no survivor.
It also said that the motive of the attack is because of the Elemental Stone mine, It is said that Zrolis City has a high-grade Elemental Stone mine.
The leader of the pack is a muscular grey wolf, based on the United World Organization (UWO) and the Federal Agency of Awakened (FAA), the leader is the infamous Brutal Grey. Brutal Grey has a bounty on its head for almost three years, the bounty already reaches an astonishing $55,000,000.
Rex then scrolls down and found footage near the bottom of the news, the footage shows the chaos of Zrolis City, Werewolves can be seen left and right massacring people.
The Awakened rendered helpless by their number and power under the moonlight, the footage ends when a young Werewolf that seems to be a Delta clawed the guy taking the video.
Werewolf pack consists of Alpha, Shanman, Beta, Delta, and Omega. The leader of the pack is the Alpha, they are usually the most powerful. Shanman is the second in a pack, they have elemental abilities and usually defend their nest, Beta will help the Alpha in fighting, they are the next in line to become an Alpha. Delta is an adult Werewolf with power below Beta while an Omega is the weakest Werewolf used to become the pack’s stress-relieving thing.
Rex frowns, ‘This Werewolf is way out of my league, even if I meet the last Werewolf that looks like a Delta, I will probably stand no chance against it’
He then gives Adhara’s phone back and fell in thought,
‘I need to get stronger fast, after class I will go to the Task Hall and take a mission there. Also, I need to help motivate Adhara to get rid of her laziness’, Rex thought while stealing glances at Adhara.
Rex then poke Adhara on her waist and said, “Adhara…”, he whispers.
Adhara looks at Rex with a rosy face and replies, “Rex, there’s Laura beside you”, she covers her face feeling embarrassed after feeling Laura is staring at them.
“What?”, Rex asks in confusion.
Adhara then whispers shyly, “If you want to do that, wait until we get into your room okay?”
Rex was speechless, ‘What the heck? Is she misunderstanding my intention?”
Suddenly, Laura said with a cold voice from Rex’s back, “Want to do what?”, the cold tone stabs Rex from his back making him sweat bullets.
“It’s a misunderstan…”, just as Rex wanted to clarify his intention, he saw Laura already made four knives made of water aiming at his head.
His throat went dry, Laura’s face is not changing from her usual expression but her aura is leaking,
“I’m sorry!”, Rex said nervously, the water knives is dancing around above his head.
‘My mother once told me, if a girl is angry for no reason, just say sorry! and it seems like it works’, Rex thought after seeing Laura calmed down.

After a while, the class ended.
Rex wanted to go to the Task Hall so Laura and Adhara tagged along, they said they will join his team.
The three of them arrive at the Task Hall, the Task Hall is full of students from different classes and years. The students can’t randomly take a mission and submit it, they need to line up and assign their group into the queue.
When there’s a mission compatible with them, the Task Hall staff will inform them and then they can start the assigned mission.
The reason for the crowd of students gather here is because the treasury is also located here, students that got points from doing mission will go here to exchange.
Rex enters the Task Hall and takes a queue, the line is not that long only about seven people.
Then suddenly, a high-pitched voice called him from his back, “REX!!”
Rex glances to his back and saw Rosie running while waving at him, “How did she know that we are here?”, he questioned looking at Adhara and Laura.
Adhara then put out her tongue and said, “I did”
Rex face-slapped himself in frustration, Whenever Rosie comes it’s always going to exhaust his mental.
“Hi, guys! Adhara told me that you will be taking a mission today, so I’m here to join your group”, she said cheerfully.
Rex quickly replied, “Your application has been denied, please try on another group”
Rosie pouted her lips and smack Rex on his head, “What are you saying to your girlfriend hmph!”
Rex holds his head in annoyance and said, “Fine just don’t become a burden”, he said while turning to his back.
Hearing this Rosie felt her heart pinched by Rex’s words, she swears in her heart that she will not become a burden again.
After waiting for twenty minutes or so, It’s finally Rex’s turn.
He then walks to the counter, but suddenly Adhara whispers to him, “Rex, just say that you are Rex Silverstar and is a gifted to make things easier”
Rex nodded his head and goes to the counter,
The staff then asks with a smile on his face, “How can I help you?”
“I want to queue to take a mission”, Rex said.
The staff gives Rex a paper to write down his group, Rex then writes down the girls and him along with their rank.
Rex gives back the paper, the staff then said while looking at the paper, “Laura, Rosie, Adhara, and Rex? All is rank three except for Rosie”
“It is stated here in my database that you are a non-Awakened, your last name is?”, the staff asks politely.
“Silverstar, Rex Silverstar, I am a gifted”, Rex said confidently.
The staff frowns, “Rex Silverstar? well, I do get a hint of a rumor that you are equivalent to a rank three but can you prove it to me so I can give the mission without worry? What are you gifted in?”
“Strength”, Rex replied plainly.
The staff nodded his head, “That’s convenient if you are gifted in speed then it may take a long time to verify but thankfully you are gifted in strength. Here can you squeeze this rock please?”, the staff gives Rex a white rock.
Rex looks at the white rock in confusion, “It is a Strength measuring rock for the likes of you, try squeezing as hard as you can”, the staff said professionally while signaling Rex to squeeze it.
Rex looks at the rock, ‘I wonder how strong is this rock?’, Rex thought when suddenly a notification appears beside it.

“Alpha Intimidation”, Rex’s eyes glow red for a second before it goes back to normal, he was stunt when he saw a notification appear.

The staff nodded his head in affirmation when suddenly the rock flickers between light yellow and yellow, then the flickers stop when the rock turns light yellow in color.
The staff gasps in surprise, ‘His strength is almost as good as a rank four Awakened? How is this possible for a young gifted?’
Rex looks at the staff and said, “So did I pass?”
The staff snap out of his daze and replied politely, “Yes, your strength is equivalent to a peak rank three Awakened, so I will give you an assessment of a mid-rank three Awakened”
After that, Rex nodded his head and get out of the Task Hall under the staff still shocked expression.
