Rex leaves the room and intends to leave for the mission,
But he stops for a moment in the hallway and opens the quest from the Tree Spirit that he got a while back, the quest reward is a Fire Serpent Spirit that Rex planned on giving to Adhara.

The fire snake already embedded the big tree with its fiery core, although the tree looks lush it is actually dying inside because of the nurture of different energy. Find the red snake and bring it to the big tree!

'System, How is the Fire Serpent Spirit compared to Devo?', Rex asks.

Reading this, Rex rubs his chin in thought, 'It's good enough'
'Even Jane Atkins only has a spirit that doesn't even reach the 1,000 years mark, and she's from the ninth rank family. This Fire Serpent will do just fine'
But a frown then appears on Rex's face, 'As for Kyran...'
Rex opens the system shop and filters to just Dark Attribute Spirit that has at least in the early realm of high spirit just like Adhara's, but his eyes widen when he saw the prices.
'Why is it so expensive?', Rex thought in surprise.
High-rank dark attribute spirit prices are way higher than normal, the cheapest one is 120,000 gold and it's barely a high rank since its age is right by the 5,000 years.

Rex close the shop deciding to buy Kyran's spirit later after he get Adhara's, but then he suddenly remembered as he loosen the restraints on Devo, 'Devo, you up?'

'Just wondering, Can you restraint all spirits that are younger than you?', Rex asks.
When Rex confronted the Platchi last night, he found it very easy to take down Duncan after dissipating his spirit which is what makes a fifth rank and a sixth rank different.
It's very useful if Devo can dissipate every younger or weaker spirit than him.
Hearing this, Devo's laughs ring inside Rex's head as the expectant look on Rex's face started to fade since he knows that Devo is laughing at him.
[You're really ignorant aren't you], Devo mocked.
He then explains, [I can only do that to a spirit that doesn't even reach half of my life, unlike other living beings that can get stronger if they try, Spirit can't really do that. What determines our strength is how long we live, we can't become stronger willingly]
[Higher rank Awakened can deflect my energy so restraining their spirit is impossible, even a seventh rank with the weakest spirit, I can't dissipate them because their Materialization is sturdier than me]
'Materialization? What's that means?', Rex asks.
[Right now, I'm nothing but a ghost since you're still a sixth rank Awakened. The higher the Awakened rank, the more we can manifest into the real world and give you our power. Materialization means the state of a spirit manifestation]
Reading this, Rex nodded his head in understanding.
Basically what he thought was possible was just hopeful thinking, since Devo is the strongest spirit since even the Atkins have weak spirit just below a thousand years old, the only thing stopping Devo is because of the Materialization that he explains.
That is because Rex is still a sixth rank, Devo can't budge spirit from a higher rank Awakened.
'Well, this still makes me the strongest in my realm', Rex thought before he left.
Two hours later,
Rex arrives back at the UWO main office, he got escorted by Linda who has already been on standby since the morning waiting for Rex.
But he's not going together with Linda in her car,
Instead, Rex is riding Delta through the privileged street following Linda's car from the back.
Many people glance at Rex when they saw he's riding Delta, Zeragon has a high standing even when Rex is in sector 2 where many powerful Awakened live.
This shows just how hard to tame mutated animals,
Some even try to tame lower-rank mutated animals like mutated cats or dogs, but still, even after years, they can't tame them as their minds are filled with the intent to kill.
It's not the same as the regular animals the world has before the Supernatural Emergence.
Even if they did tame lower-rank mutated animals, they wouldn't boast about it.
In front of the UWO main office, there are many people around.
Just from a glance, Rex notices that there are many guild members from the 25 families gathered here. They're wearing their guild uniform, so it's easy to tell.
There are roughly 13 different guild members in front of the building,
Aside from doing missions scattered all over the human territory, some of the stronger free Awakened are recruited by the related family to be their guards.
It's a dream for many people to be recruited by the 25 Families, it's quite an honor.
These people Rex is seeing on the parking lot is that said guards,
'I'm curious of how the descendants will do in the mission. I already prepared for the worst though, so it doesn't matter', Rex thought as he got off of Delta.
He rubs Delta's head gently as he said, "Be good now, no more going nuts alright?"
Delta whimpers lightly as if she understands what Rex is saying, she lightly pushes Rex's chest away with her muzzle playing with him making Rex chuckle.
After talking to Delta, Rex strode into the building.
Some UWO personnel escorted him and Linda through the hallway,
They are heading to the back of the building where Rex already can smell the scent of the 25 Families, he met with them a couple of times and this makes Rex remember their scents clearly.
Rex arrives at the back of the building where the descendants have gathered,
The back of the building is an open place that has some green lushes here and there, this place looks like a resting place for the workers but this place is very spacious with the ground decorated with silver marble concrete.
With a scan from Rex's eyes, the ground turns out to have already been engraved by runes.
'It's a teleportation formation', Rex thought.
All of the descendants are already on their armor, some of them even wear extravagant armor with many protection accessories on them which makes them look funny in a way.
While walking, Rex glance to the right,
"Remember, just stay back when you meet a fifth rank Undead or higher"
"Listen to your father, and don't even try when you meet powerful Undead. Throw away your pride. Surviving is more important than anything, I don't want to see you get taken back in a coffin"
He then glances to the left and finds Dray with Daniel and his wife, and he can also see Valery.
All of them are getting reminded by their parents about their battle plan, this makes Rex a bit weird since he's the only one walking in without his parents.
Upon noticing Rex has arrived, Daniel's eyes brighten.
He then said something to Dray before Dray started walking towards Rex.
"Hey, You ready? Don't forget to pick me alright, I'll owe you a favor if you do this one", Dray said with a smile pressuring Rex even more.
Rex didn't answer as he looks around,
But then suddenly, someone jumped from the back trying to surprise him.
Instead of surprising Rex, the figure that tries to surprise Rex got nothing but a cold stare.
"That was stupid of me", a woman clad in armor said as she try to surprise Rex.
Rex glances at the armored woman before he frowns, "Evelyn?", he asks while looking at the woman in front of him, the woman is covered in full plate armor.
He can tell that it's a woman because of how the armor curved on the waist part.
"Yep, it's me!", Evelyn said as she takes off her helmet.
Evelyn shakes her head left and right making her long silky red hair dance with the wind, although she's wearing full plate armor there is no hint of sweat on her face.
Of course, the armor is engraved with a cooling rune, for Evelyn's convenience of course.
Rex shakes his head after realizing that Evelyn forgot once again that Rex is a Werewolf, he can clearly sense Evelyn creeping on his back.
Looking to her side, there's also a figure clad with a similar armor as Evelyn.
The figure is, of course, Kevin.
Both of them are wearing full plate silver-ish armor, red band, and cloth made of enhanced mutated silk decorated their armor with a red cloak on their back. This set is clearly inspired by the armor of the medieval ages, it looks kinda cool.
The difference between Kevin and Evelyn's armor lies on their helmet,
Evelyn's helmet has a red plume decorating its top while Kevin doesn't, what Rex finds fascinating is the scarfs on both of their necks though.

Sixth rank equipment made by a remnant of Talos the Fire Wyvern. Give the wearer increased agility by enhancing the wearer's fire element and also have the ability to cover the wearer's body protecting them from any external attacks.
'It's a decent defensive item', Rex thought with a smile.
Rex then scans the items that the descendants around him wear before he sighs, 'All of them wears defensive items with only one of them has some sort of offensive items, they're really scared of dying aren't they'
Dray on the side suddenly looks at his phone before he mutters, "It should be about time"
Hearing this, Rex looks around trying to find someone.
"Where is Gerrard? He's still not here?", Rex asks in confusion, the mission was about to start and Rex can't find Gerrard anywhere.
But just as he said that,
ROAR!!
All of the descendants jolted upon hearing the roar, They all look up unconsciously upon hearing the roar including Rex.
In the sky, Rex can see a white monstrous tiger with wings.
The tiger's wings are at least 30 feet wide composed of angelic feathers, two horns are sticking on the tiger's forehead that is curving up, and its tail is a steel color.
Rex looks to the person riding it and find that it's Gerrard,
Turns out Gerrard is a Zeragon too, a higher rank Zeragon at that.
Gerrard wearing his white armor looks graceful in the sky as the mutated tiger slowly descend and landed in the middle of the descendants, he then got down from the big mutated tiger under everyone's gaze.
'Mid Sixth Rank, that's one powerful mutated animal', Rex thought after he scan the tiger.
While Rex is looking at the tiger, a growl can also be heard from the side and Rex found Delta being escorted by the UWO members from the side.
ROAR!
Delta roared loudly towards the white tiger, she growls while baring her sharp fangs.
Looking at this, the white tiger scoffs without even replying to Delta's roar as if she's not the white tiger's competitors since they're a realm apart.
Gerrard is also patting the white tiger lightly,
His expression is calm and stoic even under Delta's roar but Rex can hear his heartbeat is out of rhyme, it's clear that Gerrard is feeling good about this.
Rex runs to Delta trying to calm her down, "Why are you getting so worked up for?"
Growl!
Delta replies by pointing her muzzle towards the mutated white tiger that is looking at Delta with a mocking gaze, the tiger's size is way bigger than Delta and it's clear Delta is not its match.
Seeing this, Rex then mutters, "Calm down, you'll get there"
Hearing this, Delta whimpers before turning her head away while getting stroked on the head by Rex, he then glanced at the white tiger with a fierce glint.
Flash!
Rex's eyes flash in red startling the white tiger as it steps back making a few thudding sounds.
The frame and sheer size of the mutated white tiger is enough to make the ground slightly tremble, but this behavior surprises Gerrard since he can see a slight fear on the tiger's eyes.
'Fine, I'll help Delta to become stronger after this', Rex thought, turning his head away.
Although he didn't show it on his face, Rex's competitive nature is riled up seeing that Gerrard has a sixth rank mutated animal as his mount.
It even irritates him a bit when Delta whimpers submissively.
When the descendants are looking at the quarrel between Delta and the white tiger.
"Alright! Everyone is gathered here right?!", the same UWO official from the auditorium before shouted bringing everyone's attention to him.
The parents of the descendants moved to the side per the UWO instruction,
After looking at each of the descendants' eyes, the man can see different signs from their eyes as he said, "I'll quickly remind you guys again what the objective is"
"Obliterate the five companies of the Undead around Eqosa City"
"That is the only objective nothing else, so don't get sidetracked. I expect not one of you to die in this mission, it's for the better good for your respective families and yourself of course"
Another UWO official then whispers stopping the quick briefing,
Hearing what the other UWO official said, the man then continues, "We have located your teleportation point, you will be teleported to Zissea City. The city is already in ruin but their Marginal Anchor is still working, so we'll teleport all of you there"
"The Undead companies will be on your west after arriving there, the leaders will be given a map each to help guide the others. We don't know how the situation there will be, after getting teleported you will be on the battlefield so keep your guard up"
After saying that, the man then moves to the side where all of the heads of the family are.
The descendants including Rex who is already on Delta's back are in the middle, the silver marble ground started to glow as the formation is starting.
Both Rex and Gerrard are given a map each,
Looking at this, Rex then said, "Evelyn, Kevin, and Dray, stick close to me"
Hearing their names getting called, the three of them went to Rex and stood by Rex preparing to get transported by the teal energy.
"Remember, from this point onwards your life and death is on your own hand"
"Good Luck!"
It's the last words that can be heard from the man's mouth before a transparent teal barrier shot up to the sky, and before they realize it, all of their bodies turn into teal energy and disappear from their spot.
SWOOSH!
The teal energy shot up to the sky as the descendants disappear from their place.
Sebrof who is watching this from his own office is smiling while smoking his cigarette, he then mumbles, "Although it's the descendants of the 25, I sure hope one of them dies"
Zissea City, outside of Ratmawati City.
CRACK!
BOOM!
A teal light creates a cracking sound on the sky before the energy shot down and hit the ground, the descendants materialize again after the teal energy dissipates.
"I feel sick", Kevin mutters while holding his stomach.
Hearing this, Evelyn approached him worriedly as she pats his back a couple of times after taking off Kevin's helmet in case he wanted to puke.
Rex looks around and find that the whole city is destroyed,
"We should go west from here right?", Dray asks while pointing to the west side.
But Rex ignores Dray's question before he mutters, "Keep your guard up, We're surrounded"
