Rex stop in his tracks when he heard what Sebrof said, he glance to his side and find Sebrof is looking at him intently.
'What now?', he thought as he sucked in a cold breath.
Gerrard also looks to the side but he then nodded his head instantly when he saw Sebrof's serious expression, even he felt his skin crawls upon seeing Sebrof's sharp gaze.
Without looking back, Gerrard leaves the place hurriedly.
Rex turns his body towards Sebrof again trying to keep his expression calm,
There's an invisible pressure coming out of Sebrof that takes a toll on Rex, it makes the room suffocating as a minute that feels like forever passed in silence.
After inspecting Rex up and down, Sebrof finally moved.
Sebrof taps on the table surface near him before a hologram suddenly appeared above the table, it was sudden as Rex looks at the hologram.

"Since the people wanted to feel safe, creating an alliance with the SCO will give that assurance and also just like what John Webster just proved the SCO will be much of a help against the Supernatural", Rex added without a pause.
The thoughts inside his head, Rex just said it out loud.
Although many benefits for humanity will be made if the SCO and UWO ally with each other, Rex can't just shrug the fact that for organizational gains the SCO will gain is much more than the UWO.
Yes, the UWO will have the Green Messenger's invention but it doesn't compare much.
If the alliance really did happen, SCO will be brought into a new light since they will be stepping into the world as an ally of the very first organization that becomes the pillar of humanity.
Not only the people will start to accept them, but the SCO will be an equal of UWO.

Rex glance at Vargas on the side and saw him giving Rex a meaningful look, Rex then glances back at Sebrof who is eyeing him with sharp eyes.
Then Sebrof's eyes glint as he said, "You don't mind then if I check for the crow tattoo right?"
Hearing this, Rex widens his eyes in surprise.
He doesn't know how Sebrof knows the alliance proposal came from him but Vargas probably told him, and now since he become suspicious he wanted to see if Rex is really a neutral party.
'Shit! This is bad, I need to buy time!', Rex thought while thinking hard for a solution.
Without wasting any more time, Sebrof's eyes glow with red lightning but Rex also responds by activating his black lightning.

Both elements collided, but Rex can't even buy more than a second.
The red lightning that Sebrof possesses obliterate his black lightning easily, it's definitely a higher form of lightning since Sebrof is a ninth rank Awakened.
Sebrof's eyes glow before Rex's entire attire burst into pieces,
He was getting choked on by Sebrof with only his boxer exposing his entire skin, then Sebrof's eyes scan Rex's entire body before he scoffs.

Aside from the rune he has from reaching the fifth rank, Sebrof didn't see any tattoo other than that.
Rex got tossed aside hitting the wall behind him after Sebrof is done checking his skin, his entire body was paralyzed thanks to getting zapped by Sebrof's entire body.

Sebrof is already sitting back at his chair with a stoic look on his face, there's no emotion as he looks at Rex standing back up with a trembling body with cold eyes.
But before he leaves, Vargas then said, "Also contact the SCO and tell them to be present"
"They need to also send their teams under each of the messengers to Eqosa City, this is the first step in making the alliance come true. Don't forget to also tell them to contact us as soon as possible", Vargas added.
Hearing this, Rex looks at Vargas with a shocked expression, "Doesn't that mean?!"

Rex gives one last look at Sebrof before he bowed and left the room,
