Chapter 330 - Summary From The System

While Dray and Evelyn are conversing with each other, Rex is on the other side looking at his lock screen with a troubled look on his face.

The phone call from Edward before won't stop bugging his mind,

'I swear he sounds weird, should I check on him after this?', Rex thought, he's a little bit worried about Edward since he definitely meets with Kyran who is absorbing the Sacrificial Energy.

Rex looks at his phone screen before he sighs,

He puts his phone back into his pocket but then suddenly remembered something, 'System, open my stats tab'

Rex looks at his stats and saw that his stats has increased so much from before, 'System, show me my default stats without the increase from the Lunar Eclipse', he thought.

Just from a glance, Rex can tell that this is not his default stats, but then suddenly,

'As I thought, show me the defau- Eh?', Rex was stunned upon reading this.

It took him a good few seconds before his eyes widen in realization, 'THIS IS MY DEFAULT STATS?! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!', Rex screamed inside his head.

All of his stats starting from Mental all the way to Intelligence has raised tremendously,

If he were to compare his current stats with his previous stats, with a rough calculation Rex estimate that they will differ more than five hundred points!

'Show me right now, I want to know what happened exactly', Rex thought hurriedly.

Right after he said that a bunch of notifications appear in front of him as Rex started to read through all of them one by one.

The summary that the system shows to Rex was very detailed, Rex reads through the entire notifications as he thought, 'The Sacrificial Energy came from Supernatural?'

'How did the ritual they conducted go to me'

Rex rubs his chin as he read the system's explanation,

'Then that means whoever did this ritual is also a Prince just like me, but the Lunar Eclipse acknowledge me more than him so I got 80% of the energy produced from the ritual', Rex thought, he already had a guess based on the system's explanation.

But then his eyes landed on the first few notifications, 'I got 56% since I share it to Adhara and Kyran, both of them should get 12% each'

Although Rex didn't know how this happened, he's grateful for whoever it is that does this.

Even so, Rex now got new information from this ritual that there's a Werewolf Prince just like him in the Supernatural territory, it worries him for a bit but Rex is pretty relieved knowing that he just hijacked that Prince's ritual and took more than half of the energy produced.

After reading through the notifications, Rex then asks, 'System, Can you compare me with other general Awakened?'

'If my stats are put into Awakened rankings, Where will I be?', Rex asks curiously.

Rex's smile started to grow wider as he read this, 'If it's the full moon?',

The last notification makes Rex's expression turns brutal, 'The seventh rank huh?', Rex thought as he remembers the face of the Vampires that attack him after leaving Carabidis Temple.

'Enjoy your peaceful days bastard, It will end very soon', Rex thought with a brutal smile.

"Raarghh!"

Rex snapped out of his thoughts when he sensed someone approaching him from the back, he turns to look at his back and saw Dray is dashing towards him with a sword in his hand.

Feeling irritated by what Evelyn said, Dray went to attack Rex again.

"If you're going to teach me something then, Show me what you got!", he shouted.

The wind sword in his hands is emitting fierce mana as he dashes towards Rex, this makes Rex frown but when he looks to the side he saw a couple of people watching him.

One of the people watching him is Daniel Burton, it seems the meeting is over.

A smile appeared on Rex's face as Dray chanted, "Disposition of Wind Technique, Final Form!"

BOOM!

The ground cracked as the wind surrounding Dray swirls even faster than before, it creates a tornado as it engulfs Dray's body completely.

Rex can even feel the amount of mana behind this attack,

Even the energy that comes from Dray is at least three times sharper than before, it seems this is the signature technique identical to the Burton Family.

Daniel who is watching them even smiles from the side,

"Dray manage to learn that even when he's still a sixth rank? I'm quite impressed Sir Daniel", a woman said from the side commenting on Dray's technique.

Hearing the praise, Daniel chuckles lightly, "The brat insisted to learn the technique"

"Although the full extent of the technique can only be released by an eighth rank or higher, this is quite good for his realm", he added before his eyes landed on Rex.

The woman also looks at Rex as she mutters, "So, What's Rex going to do"

Rex stands fiercely above the chaotic wind that sprouted surrounding him, Dray's spirit is amplifying his attack as the wind blows around the arena like a tornado.

'It's a powerful technique but...', Rex smiles as he takes out his own weapon.

He takes out the Ameurus Devourer of Souls Katana from thin air surprising the audience as well as Dray, but what is even more surprising is not that Rex takes it out from the air but the katana itself.

NGING!!

The Ameurus Katana glows with a red hue as Rex held it with both hands in front of him.

Looking at the sword Rex is holding, Dray gritted his teeth as he can feel the sword is no ordinary sword before he musters his leg strength and jumps up right after arriving near Rex.

The chaotic wind got swayed following Dray's sword as if it's a magnet to the wind.

With fierce determination and muscles bulging all over his body, Dray shouted as he slashes downwards with all his might making the entire arena shake, "Abstruse Wind of Agony!"

SWOOSH!

Rex imbued his immense black lightning mana to his katana,

The Amuerus Katana started to shake vigorously as the runes on it started to glow,

"He's not going to use any spells or technique? Is he planning to take Dray's attack head-on?!", Evelyn mutters from the side as she too watches from the side.

Even the woman and Daniel is also intrigued upon seeing this,

A smile appeared on Rex's face as he raises his katana to block Dray's attack.

An even more powerful shockwave was created much more powerful than when Valery and Dray's attacks collided, Dray put all of his strength into this one attack.

The shockwave burst to the surroundings but Daniel blocked it with his elements.

None of the bursts of energy from the shockwave manages to reach outside of the arena, Daniel also knows of the technique Dray used so every movement of the wind got blocked by him perfectly.

When the dust recede everyone can see Dray's shocked state as he saw his attack get blocked by Rex.

But the surprise didn't last long as Dray smiled wryly, he already know that Rex is more powerful than him. He just wanted to try one last time because of his irritation from before,

BAM!

Rex sent a powerful kick on Dray's stomach blasting him away,

He kept rolling through the entirety of the arena before his body slammed to the fence surrounding the arena.

After kicking Dray away, Rex bowed a little to Dray before he walks towards Daniel.

Seeing his son get defeated one-sidedly Daniel can only shake his head, he was not as surprised as he should be which Rex finds surprising.

"I didn't realize that you're watching Sir Daniel", Rex said with a smile.

Hearing this, Daniel chuckles subtly before he replied with a sigh, "No need to be so formal, I thank you for accepting my humble request though the outcome is as expected"

While he's saying this, Daniel sent a glare to Dray which makes him jolt upon seeing this.

"You're praising me too much, I'm just lucky", Rex replied politely.

"Lucky huh...", Daniel mutters before he looks around trying to search for someone, "Where's Adhara? I thought that she was with you"

"She fell ill so I send her back", Rex lied with a sad expression.

Daniel was surprised to hear this before he said, "That's a pity, if her condition worsened you can call me. I have a friend that can help"

Rex smiles thankfully before his eyes land on a woman beside Daniel,

Although the woman is standing beside Daniel, Rex knows that this woman is not his wife since Rex recognizes this woman to be the Awakened he met in Beah city alongside Denzel.

The woman has blue hair with crystal clear blue eyes,

From just a glance Rex can tell who the woman is, how can he forget this woman who is a powerful Awakened and since she's working along with Denzel Rogers before.

It's clear that she's also a pillar of humanity, a ninth rank Awakened.

"Remember me?", the woman said with her soothing voice.

Hearing this, Rex widen his eyes as he slightly bows in respect for the woman, "I remember meeting you in Beah City, It's nice meeting you again"

Daniel was surprised to see this, "Giana, you've met Rex before?"

"Yes, We met when Rex is helping the people of Beah City that is being sieged by the blue demons", Giana replied making Daniel quite surprised.

Daniel looks at Rex with an unreadable look as Giana added,

"You remember me, that's good. But why didn't you come to the Sky Temple?", she asks.

Rex was caught off guard by the sudden question, he remembers Giana saying something about visiting the Sky Temple but he forgot thanks to the problem with Atkins.

With a wry smile, Rex then said, "I'm sorry, I've been busy and had not the time to visit"

"I was going to give you a spirit, an Awakened of your caliber shouldn't be assimilating with just any regular spirit but it seems I was too late", Giana said after noticing that Rex has already reached the sixth rank.

Dray who is walking past them from the side heard this as he widen his eyes,

He glances at the woman before he mutters, "Regular spirit? His spirit can even suppress my spirit easily as if I'm nothing"

"It's okay, I assimilated with a decent spirit", Rex said modestly.

But upon hearing this, Giana squint her eyes as she said, "Show me your spirit, I want to assess it myself if it's as decent as you said"

Hearing this, Rex smiles wryly, 'It seems she already prepared a spirit for me'

Giana's looks have a flavor of unwillingness in them, it seems she takes quite a bit of time to prepare a spirit for Rex to only find Rex has already assimilated with another spirit.

"Quickly, show me your spirit", Giana added hurriedly.

Without having any other choice, Rex then finally said, "If you say so"

Rex steps onto the middle of the arena making Giana confused, "Why did he need to go all the way there, I'm just asking to see his spirit"

"Maybe his spirit is really decent", Daniel replied nonchalantly.

But Giana quickly shakes her head, "Spirit is not that easily accessible, I doubt that"

After stepping into the middle of the arena, Rex closes his eyes focusing on his body before he summons Devo out of his body as mists started to suddenly appear.

When Giana was about to comment, a powerful surge of spirit energy suddenly exploded.

BOOM!
