"We have arrived, Sir Daniel is waiting for you at the middle table", the woman said pointing to a table in the middle where a man was sitting there undisturbed.
He was sitting idly playing with his phone,
People sometimes glances at the man in the middle which speak of his reputation,
Although he's obviously waiting for Adhara and Edward, some people try to make conversation with him but go denied by him ruthlessly.
From afar,
Adhara and Edward can see that the man that approaches him talks about something, but his expression turns pale when Daniel replied to him.
Whatever Daniel said, it makes the man immediately leave for his table.
The high-rank family such as the Burton Family enjoyed numerous benefits inside Ratmawati City, they're basically just like the president of a nation so even to have talk to him for a moment is a bliss for any Awakened.
With a deep breath, Adhara and Edward walk towards him.
The direction they're heading makes many of the people dining here glance at them,
"Are they both going to Daniel?"
"It's futile, he's always in a bad mood"
"Watch them got frightened by Daniel, they're just kids"
The people around them didn't bother to even hide their voices, they're all mocking Adhara and Edward openly but there's no reaction from Adhara and Edward
Arriving at the middle table, Adhara braced herself, "Sir Daniel?"
Daniel is back to playing with his phone, and when he heard someone call him he immediately takes a deep sharp breath as he glances to his right.
But then suddenly, his eyes squinted upon seeing Adhara and Edward.
"Hi, My name is Adhara Alpenore. May I sit with you?", Adhara asks politely, but Daniel was dazed by her before he snapped back to reality.
Standing up, Daniel then suddenly smiles, "Please miss Adhara, it's a pleasure to meet you"
"WHAT?!"
"H-He actually smiled!"
"Who are they? I never saw them here before"
Many people exclaimed as Daniel signaled for Adhara and Edward to sit in front of him.
When Adhara and Edward sit on the chairs comfortably, Daniel glared at the surrounding people that are exclaiming making all of them put down their heads in fear.
Seeing this, Adhara smiles politely, "There are many people here that recognize you"
"Please, they came here with the intention to talk to me. But I hate people like them, they're boot lickers that jump each other over some opportunity", Daniel replied while waving his hand.
Upon closer look, Adhara finds Daniel to be around the forties.
He's wearing a black formal suit with long light brown hair that falls to his shoulder, his beard also trimmed and suits him very well with what seems to be a blade scar crossing the left side of his mouth.
Adhara can even say that he's quite charming for someone his age, maybe the fact that his confident moves make him charismatic.
Then, Daniel looks at the waiter signaling for them to bring food.
Meanwhile, Adhara and Edward's bodies jolted as Daniel cursed the people around them.
They both can feel the other people here are glaring at them, and the heavy pressure that comes from them makes Edward and Adhara suffocated.
But it didn't last long because Daniel took care of it,
Since he's the head of the Burton Family, Adhara knows that Daniel is a very powerful Awakened that has at least reached the eighth rank or even ninth rank.
He then said, "Before we got down to business, please eat first so we can get to know each other"
Not long after, there is a tray of food brought by the waiter before the waiter puts all kinds of food on their table making Adhara and Edward unconsciously gulp.
"Please, start the feast!", Daniel said before he started eating the food in front of him.
Edward and Adhara look at each other before they follow Danie's lead, they both are shy at first but as time passes they started to enjoy themselves.
"When you said the people here intended to meet you here, What do you mean by that?", Edward asks.
Hearing this, Daniel rubs his mouth with a towel and said, "I own this restaurant, so naturally, people that wanted to speak to me regarding business or anything will try to come here since I really like this place"
"Oh", Edward replied with a wry smile.
Of course, Daniel owned this place, he's from the Burton Family after all.
After eating the full dishes in front of them, the three of them finally finishes as Daniel smiles, "Alright now that we're done eating, let's talk business"
Hearing this, Adhara nodded her head confidently without a hint of worry.
Daniel's expression instantly turns serious with the friendly smile that he had before vanishes, he was now on business mode as Adhara also turns serious.
"Do you know the organization that I represent miss Adhara?", Daniel asks.
Adhara then replied instantly, "Of course, you're also the president of ATC, who doesn't know the ATC in this age"
ATC is in short for Awakened Trade Center,
This is an organization that has the scale that wraps the entire Ratmawati City and beyond, an organization where Awakened can sell and buy any items starting from equipment, mutated plants, and many others.
It was a behemoth of an organization, and the Burton Family owns it.
Daniel nodded his head before he said, "I'm quite sure you already know the details of why I want to do business with you, so let's cut this short. What terms do you want for our agreement to work? Just say it to me"
"To be honest sir Daniel, I don't know if I can do business with someone as big as you", Adhara said truthfully.
The Elemental Stones can only be made by her,
Adhara even created it by accident, so because of that, she can't really make many of the stones at a time since it absorbs her mana and also restraining to make.
But then, Daniel said, "The amount of it is not a problem, just let our team handle that"
"If you don't mind, Elemental Stones are made naturally and there's only a couple of variant of it. But you seem to have a steady supply of it, How did you manage to do that", Daniel continues.
Hearing this, Adhara's lips were closed shut since this is exactly what Edward said.
Edward pokes Adhara's leg with his signaling to her to don't answer it,.
But Daniel's eyes are studying Adhara's expression as he waited for an answer when Adhara was about to answer Daniel's eyes suddenly widen as he looks at Adhara's back.
"Wesley? What are you doing here?", Daniel suddenly said.
Adhara and Edward's bodies turn stiff when he heard the name that comes out of Daniel's mouth, they both look to their back before their eyes widen when they saw a green-haired man was approaching them from the back.
It was no doubt, Wesley Atkins, "Oh? What a coincidence to meet you here"
"What are you saying, you know that I'll be here", Daniel replied with a slight chuckle.
Both of them seem to be very close, and it all makes sense for Adhara and Edward since Wesley's wife is Daniel's bastard daughter.
Wesley stopped at their table and said, "I just want to see the one that can interest you so much"
"Surprisingly it's a couple of youngsters. Nice to meet you both, I'm Wesley Atkins", Wesley said as he stretches out his hand with a grin on his face putting Adhara and Edward at a loss for words.
Both of them thought the same thing, 'What is he doing here?!'

Meanwhile, Rex is already near Faraday University.
The moon is shining brightly above him as he makes his way back to the university, he just dropped off Kyran at his place near Ochyra University to prepare for the Lunar Blessing tomorrow.
"Thank you", Rex said as he paid the taxi driver.
Although the taxi can escort him back to the university, he prefers walking because there's something on his mind and the night air is relaxing for him.
Because of what happened yesterday, Adhara hasn't talked to him since morning.
Even when Rex asks where is she going after seeing her dressing up, she ignores Rex making him helpless before bringing Kyran to the place.
Rex takes a deep breath while walking through the empty street,
While he was trying to enjoy the night alone, he suddenly sensed someone on his back that seems to be following him since he got out of the taxi.
The person that following him tries to be secretive,
But Rex already sensed her and even know who she is just by smelling her scent, "What an unpleasant meeting. Why are you following me, Jane Atkins"
Hearing this, Wesley's daughter Jane widens her eyes.
She wears equipment so that she can follow Rex easily, but somehow Rex manages to notice her even when she uses this equipment.
Rex turns to his back and saw Jane walking out of the shadow,
"What do you want?", Rex asks with a devious smile as he's in a mood for fighting.
With Adhara ignoring him, he can't say that this doesn't affect him at all since he's currently in a bad mood and he might just do something to Jane.
Especially since he remembers that Hans was the one that make Adhara like that.
"How do you know father's secret?", Jane asks threateningly.
Rex smiles playfully upon hearing this, he then said, "You don't need to worry about that, Hans is already trying to figure that out and still hasn't found a single clue yet. If Hans can't find out about it, then you have not a single chance"
"You!", Jane was filled with anger as he points at Rex.
She then scoffs, "For a weakling, you sure know how to talk, Aren't you afraid that I will attack you here right now?"
"Personally, I would like for you to try", Rex replied with a condescending smile.
This makes Jane grit her teeth in anger as her body burst with wind energy, the same spirit that she shows before appear increasing her power tremendously.
She takes out a sword sheathed on her back as her legs bulge with muscle,
SWOOSH!
By being a Wind Elementalist, Jane's speed is nothing to laugh about as she arrives at Rex's front intending to stab Rex's chest with her sword.
'You're dead!', she thought angrily.
CLANG!
The metallic sound that was created as Jane tries to stab Rex's chest makes her eyes widen.
She looks up at her sword and finds that the sword can't penetrate Rex's chest at all, he even has the time to look at the sword as if it's a joke with an undisturbed expression.
"H-How!", Jane exclaimed as Rex's chest manage to stop her sword trajectory.
Seeing this, the smile on Rex's face grows wider.
"I think your information is outdated", Rex said lightly before suddenly,
BOOM!
His body exploded with spirit energy as Devo came out looking down on Jane as if she's an ant, the spirit that appeared behind Jane was completely washed away just like a normal wind.
The gap rank of their spirits is too far making Jane fall onto her knees.
Rex walks slowly towards Jane before stopping right in front of her who is kneeling on the ground because of Devo's pressure, "Y-You reached the sixth rank!", she exclaimed in shock.
The last time she met her Rex hasn't reached the sixth rank yet,
But in the span of a few months he manages to reach the sixth rank as if it's easy for him, his talent is terrifying, to say the least.
"For a weakling, you sure talk a lot", Rex said with a grin on his face.
The words that Jane said earlier got thrown back at her, but even when this makes her angry she can't do anything about this.
She slowly raises her gaze to Rex as she mumbles, "He's terrifying…."
