The afternoon that day,
Rex and the others are currently getting treated in the hospital, especially Rex since the blood energy that he got hit repeatedly by Ana is still lingering inside his body.
The doctor here is only a normal doctor, there are no healers Awakened.
So Rex can only make do with bandages around his body to avoid getting his injuries worsen, but his injuries are still open since the blood energy refused to let the doctor close the injuries using normal stitches.
Before Rex got treated, he already told the Doctor that he will be fine.
Since his regenerative abilities will kick in just a few days, Rex doesn't need to get treated immediately but the doctor insists to do it.
He said that it was an honor to treat him,
Normal humans can die upon getting contact with Supernatural energy.
But the doctor volunteered to tend Rex eventhough he got the most Supernatural energy on him, disregarding that this might cost his life.
While Rex is getting treated in a separate room,
The nurses inside the hospital peeked through the window on the door to see Rex, they're excited to see Rex in real flesh since he's the hero of the city.
"That is Rex Silverstar? He's so young!"
"I know right? If I can just shake his hand one time my life will be blessed"
"Of course, you will be blessed, he even brought back a living Vampire! Some said that he's an Early Sixth rank but I think he already surpassed that"
A couple of hours earlier,
"Edward, bring those two to the hospital", Rex said while squatting down.
Hearing this, Edward carries both Kyran and Adhara with his arms before he looks at Rex who is squatting beside a Vampire that has been stabbed by the Ameurus Katana.
"What are you going to do? Don't you need to be treated as well?", Edward asks.
Rex waves his hand and replies, "This one is still alive, I want to ask him some questions"
But upon hearing this, Edward's expression turns serious as he said, "You need to break his body first before bringing him into the city and chain him the old school style. No matter what you do, just put in mind that he's a sixth rank Vampire"
Although the Vampire in front of Rex is currently unconscious,
What Edward said is not an exaggeration, a Sixth Rank Vampire can easily destroy a city as weak as Wedron City that barely has any Awakened or Black Hands.
It will only take minutes for this Vampire to destroy the city, and Rex needs to be careful.
Rex nodded his head in understanding as Edward dashes away to bring both Kyran and Adhara to the hospital.
After Edward leaves, Rex then asks the system, 'How can I make sure a Vampire can't escape?'
<Linzite is a plant that is poisonous to all Vampires except for some, it will weaken a Vampire greatly if they drink the nectar from the plant>
Linzite turns out to be a flower with seven petals that is only about five inches tall, its crystal blue petals are glowing slightly with its anthers yellow in color that releases yellow powder whenever the flower moves.
The system shows Rex a hologram of the flower, and it's very beautiful.
Reading this, Rex bought a vial of Linzite from the system.
Rex inspect the vial of Linzite that he bought, this vial is an extracted nectar from the Linzite flower so it can be used for drinking purposes.
It will make anyone who drinks it gets healthy benefits except for Vampires.
After inspecting the vial of Linzite, Rex lifts the Vampire's head before he pours the vial of Linzite directly into the Vampire's mouth.
Gulp!
Upon the first draught,
"Huaakh!!", the Vampire snapped awake as he felt his throat burning.
The Vampire touches his neck that felt like it was melting before he looks at Rex in horror, "Linzite!", he shouted as he tries to break free.
But the katana pin him down, he can't break free from Rex.
BAM!
Rex sent another punch at the weakened Vampire sending him unconscious again.
After knocking the Vampire out, Rex pulls the katana off of him before he carries the Vampire and runs back into the city.
Arriving at the city,
The guards above the wall barricade look at Rex in shock, they saw Rex slowly walking towards the city with his bloodied clothes.
Amongst the guards, Rex can see a black hand, and he too is surprised.
But the thing that makes them surprised is not Rex, but rather the thing he carries.
Although the Vampires are not that different from a human physically, aside from their pale skin, Vampires gives off a strong stench of blood and they have claws instead of fingernails with red eyes that give them off easily.
During the early emergence of Supernatural, some Vampires try to spy on the humans from within.
All of the Vampires spies got caught not long after entering the human territory, their stench of blood is too strong even through a cover.
Rex got inside the city after the guards opened the entrance for him,
Upon entering the city, Rex was greeted by the priest that is looking at the Vampire Rex brought in concern followed by the black hands.
"Is it dead?", the priest asks.
Rex shakes his head making the priest widen his eyes in surprise, "Are you mad?! Why are young bringing a Vampire inside the city?!", he says in aghast, the priest knows that a Vampire can easily wreak havoc and destroy the city easily.
"Don't worry, I got it covered", Rex replied calmly.
He then added, "I want to lock this Vampire up for questioning, Do you have a place in mind?"
Hearing this, the priest hesitated for a moment. He looks at Rex trying to see if Rex is sure that it will be okay before he finally sighs, "Follow me"
The priest leads Rex into the corner building that looks abandoned.
It is a quite big building that used to be a factory, but now it is abandoned and from the dust, the building collected Rex can say that it's been quite a while.
"This is perfect", Rex said before he went inside.
After he said that, the priest didn't follow Rex as Rex told them that he can handle it.
But one of the black hands insisted on guarding the place if something were to happen, and Rex can only sigh since this particular black hand looks stubborn.
"What are you going to do to him?", the black hand asks.
The black hand that decided to watch on the place is a woman that looks to be around twenty years old, she's quite young and Rex already knows that she has an enhanced strength gift and a mind-reading gift.
Hearing this, Rex puts down the Vampire before he glances at the woman, "Aren't you supposed to guard outside? I never agree to let you inside"
"I'm just making sure", the woman replied calmly.
Then the woman asks, "How did you capture that Vampire anyway, he's quite strong"
"I'm quite strong as well", Rex replied nonchalantly, he got nothing to hide since the world already knows that he has an early sixth rank power so it's not that weird if he can beat a mid-sixth rank.
But then suddenly, "Arghh!", the woman suddenly grunted while holding her head.
[That woman try to read your mind], Devo suddenly said, he sounds irritated.
Rex smiles lightly before he said, "Don't try to read my mind again, and wait outside before I run out of patience"
The woman widened her eyes upon hearing this,
Without any more comments, the woman left the building to wait outside since her mind-reading ability didn't work and Rex seems serious about what he said.
After the woman leaves, Rex then takes out a couple of red chains from the inventory.
The red chains are completely used only for restraining Vampires, they can suck blood aura from the chained Vampire whenever they try to resist.
He also added another protection,
With another item from the system's shop, Rex stakes each of the Vampire's limbs with a wooden stake with a rune on them before breaking each of the Vampire's limbs.
Even with all of that, the Vampire will not die.
Rex need to be extra cautious if he was about to interrogate this Vampire,
If he was careless then he will be gambling with thousands of lives in the city, and he doesn't want to let that happen.
Splash!
With a flick of his hand, Rex splashes the Vampire with a bit of Linzite.
Tss!!
The Vampire's skin makes a steaming sound before he jolted awake, he felt the unbearable pain around his body upon opening his eyes before he looks around in shock.
He realized that he becomes a prisoner, and Rex is standing in front of him.
"I won't tell you anything!!", the Vampire shouted.
Hearing this, Rex sigh since he knows where this is all going to go, "Everyone said that before I started, we know how it will end. I'm going to torture you so bad that you will eventually answer all of my questions, or you can just answer and I'll grant you a swift death"

Back to the present,
"It's okay, you've done enough now", Rex said to the doctor.
The doctor is currently tending the slight injuries around his legs, but his face already started to become pale and Rex can't bear to let him continue.
After a slight argument from the doctor, he finally agree to stop.
Rex sigh lightly as the doctor left the room, but then Rex saw Edward squeeze through the crowding nurses in front of his room and went inside the room.
"You really got quite a fanatic fans here", Edward said with a chuckle.
Hearing this, Rex smiles lightly as he lies on the bed.
Edward approach Rex's bed before he looks at Rex with a meaningful look, "What is it?", Rex asks as he knows that Edward wanted to say something.
"How are you?", he asks lightly.
Rex looks at Edward in confusion before he replied, "I'm gonna be fine, it'll probably take-"
But before Rex can finish, Edward cuts his sentence and said, "I mean about Rosie, she's taken by the Vampires and she might be in danger right now"
"I think she's going to be fine, at least for now…", Rex replied while positioning his body better.
The conversation he's having with Edward is a serious one, it's regarding Rosie and he can't be lax about this. Edward then asks, "What do you mean by that?"
"The Vampires want me more than Rosie", Rex replied with a sigh.
He then explains, "That Vampire, Ana. She now knows that Rosie means something to me, so I doubt they will just kill off Rosie or even do anything to hurt Rosie"
Hearing this, Edward frowns, "So they're going to bait you using Rosie…"
"Don't you want to know why they're aiming for me?", Rex asks as he looks at Edward intently.
Although Edward seems to don't mind the situation they're in, Rex felt weird since Edward didn't ask him about anything and just accept all of that has happened before.
He didn't ask why Vampires and a Werewolf is attacking them.
Edward didn't ask about what he's talking about with Jarvald before, he didn't ask anything and this makes Rex somehow uncomfortable.
"All I need to know is that they're a threat, everything else besides that doesn't matter much for me", Edward replied nonchalantly.
This makes Rex frowns,
But before he can say, even more, Edward shifted the topic of their conversation, "What are you going to do with the Vampire you captured? Have you questioned him?"
"I did but he's a hard shell to crack", Rex replied with a wry smile.
Before he gets tended by the doctor, Rex already tries to force an answer from the Vampire.
Even so, the Vampire didn't open his mouth at all even though Rex already tortured him beyond normal comprehension using the Linzite.
Edward then said, "What are we going to do now?"
"Let's wait for Kyran to heal and we'll interrogate that Vampire again, How're they?", Rex asks.
Hearing this, Edward shrugs his shoulders before he said, "I think Kyran will be fine, but I don't know why but something seems off with Adhara"
"Why don't you check it out?"
Rex looks at Edward in confusion before he got up from bed, "Alright, let's go"
