Leaving the cafe, Rex and Adhara saw Delta is gathering a crowd.
“Isn’t that the Rex’s tamed mutated wolf?”
“Now that you said it, that’s definitely Rex’s wolf”
“Oh my god! Can someone take a picture of me with the wolf? I want to post it in my social”
The crowd is excited as they saw Delta standing in front of the cafe, Kyran is trying to make the crowd disperse but his voice got engulfed by the crowd.
“Stop it! Can’t you see she didn’t like it?!”, Kyran shouted desperately.
But the longer the crowd gathered around Delta, the more people joins in as they ignore Kyran and started taking pictures of Delta.

Delta growls menacingly but the crowd didn’t seem to mind it as they keep taking photos.
Looking at the crowd of people gathering and keep taking photos of her, a white steaming hue started to come out of Delta’s body.
It’s clear that she felt threatened by the flashes of light,
Feeling the change of energy, Kyran panicked as he can feel Delta was about to d something.
“I SAID STOP!!”
BOOM!!
Kyran’s body exploded with dark energy as it startled and pushes the crowd back, he didn’t try to harm them though so the energy just pushed the crowd back.
“An Awakened?!”, one of the people from the crowd shouted.
Another Awakened that was around the place saw this happening before he approach the crowd.
The Awakened slips past the crowd of people that got pushed back before he finally reaches the front and saw Kyran’s body engulfs in a dark element.
Looking at this, the Awakened frown, “Hey kid!”, he called out from the side.
Hearing someone call him, Kyran glanced around before his eyes fall onto the Awakened.
The Awakened is a man around six-foot height, blue crystal aura is hovering around the man as he walks towards Kyran slowly.
“You shouldn’t attack normal people”, the man warns coldly.
After hearing what the man said, the crowd then started to rebut back,
“Yeah! You can’t do that!”
“We’re just taking photos, what’s wrong with that!”
“Who is this kid anyway? Get out of the way!”
Kyran frowns upon hearing this, a bubble of anger sparks inside but he exhales lightly trying to ignore the people before he turns around to calm Delta down.
Grrr!!
Delta looks around cautiously as Kyran taps rub her furs lightly.
Feeling annoyed that Kyran ignored him, the man walks forward before gripping Kyran’s shoulder offensively, “Didn’t you hear them? Get out of their way”
Upon getting his shoulder gripped, Kyran’s expression darkened.
He glances at the man with a hint of bloodlust making the man steps back in fright, not expecting that kind of reaction from Kyran.
The man doesn’t want to back down and get humiliated as a water blade appears.
A water blade appears in his hand almost in an instant, without waiting any longer the man swings the water blade towards Kyran’s back.
Slash!
But before the water blade can hit Kyran, the water blade stopped on its track.
Rex appeared alongside Adhara out of thin air making the man stop his attack,
His eyes are glowing red as he stares at the man while holding the water blade with his bare hand, it startled the man as his face turns pale.
“What are you doing?”, Rex asks coldly.
The behavior of the Awakened that he met is very displeasing, and that includes this one.
Hearing this, the man wanted to pull the water blade back but found that Rex’s grip is too strong for him to pull the water blade back.
“Bullying a kid? That doesn’t sound cool at all”, Rex said with a smirk.
After pausing for a few seconds that felt like an eternity, Rex let go of the water blade as the man dissolves the water blade while clearing his throat.
The man then replied, “That kid attacked civilians, that’s not acceptable”
“Did you look at the wolf behind me?”, Rex asks while pointing at Delta on his back.
Seeing the growling Delta on Rex’s back, the man frowns before Rex added, “If the kid didn’t do something to stop this crowd, then that wolf will attack the civilians”
“Observe before you act, now get lost”, Rex added coldly.
The crowds also heard what Rex said and they realized that Kyran saved them.
Because of the constant flashes from their phones, Delta felt dizzy and thought that she’s getting attacked which makes her feel threatened.
If Kyran didn’t do anything, Delta might just attack the people.
Aside from realizing their mistakes, they also recognized Rex and felt an overwhelming pressure coming from Rex’s being.
Without anyone rebutting, one by one the crowd started to disperse.
They all know who Rex Silverstar is, the rising star of humanity.
Some of them just didn’t see Kyran walking with Rex, so they thought Kyran is just a nobody that gets into their way of taking pictures.
Feeling embarrassed, the man then bowed lightly before he quickly left.
After the crowd disperse, Rex turns to Kyran before he praised, “You did the right thing, good job in controlling your anger”
“Good job”, Adhara also added while rubbing Kyran’s head.
Kyran’s expression turns normal again as the situation calms down,
But then suddenly, Delta approaches Kyran from the side before she licks Kyran’s face repeatedly as a sign of appreciation from her.
This makes Kyran smile,
‘Did he try to control his anger? He paid attention to Adhara’s fight huh”, Rex thought.
What Kyran did becomes, even more, impressive since Rex now knows that something amplified Kyran’s anger, the plus 30% on his berserk stat says it all.
‘Just what amplifies his anger’, Rex thought as he look at Kyran.
They all then leave the place and head towards the formation.
After asking around about the formation, they finally arrived at their designated place that is guarded by the city guards.
The formation s inside a circle building that just finished being built.
Rex looks at the building before he steps forward wanting to enter the building.

The two guards holding submachine guns step in front of Rex blocking his way, one of them then said, “You can’t enter without the mayor’s approval”
“Are you sure?”, Rex stares at them directly.
Realizing the man that they just blocked, the two guards hesitated but were still unmoving from their spots even though they recognize Rex.
One of the guards then said, “I’m sorry Sir, but you still need the mayor’s approval”
Hearing this, Rex frowns as he didn’t expect them to block him this early.
“Fine, guide me to the mayor”, Rex finally said before one of the guards nodded his head and started guiding Rex and the others.
After walking for a couple of minutes, they arrived at a huge office.
The guard then said, “This is the mayor’s office, you can go straight in and ask the receptionist to meet with the mayor”
Rex nodded his head before he talked entered the building.
Because of Delta’s huge body, she can’t enter the office so Rex assigns Kyran and Adhara to accompany her lest something like before happen again.
With people recognizing him, the receptionist guide Rex to the mayor.
He and the receptionist went to the lift and go up to the sixth floor,
They then arrived in front of a door with a secretary desk on its side, the place is quite modern with the fancy white walls and the marble floor.
“You must be Sir Rex Silverstar, We heard of your arrival”, the secretary greeted.
Hearing this, Rex nodded his head not surprised about the secretary knowing his arrival, “I want to meet with the mayor, is he here?”
“Yes, but can you wait a moment because there is another guest in the room”, replied the secretary before signaling to Rex to sit on a sofa in front of the secretary’s desk.
Although Rex is unwilling, he’s not, particularly in a rush.
So he decided to just wait it out,
While he’s waiting outside of the mayor’s room, Rex can hear subtly the conversation inside the room because of his sharp sense.
It seems the mayor’s room is not imbued with any rune or the rune is just too weak.
Rex can hear a man complains to who he thought to be the mayor, he’s talking about mutated cows but Rex can’t quite hear the rest of the conversation as the secretary approach him.
“Do you want something to drink Sir?”, the secretary asks politely.
Hearing this, Rex shakes his head declining the offer as he wants to hear the conversation.
But when he was about to eavesdrop again, the mayor’s room door suddenly open as a man came outside of the room with an annoyed expression.
The mayor also comes out to guide the guest out of the room.
Rex looks at the man before the man also looks at him,
Different from Rex’s nonchalant look, the man widened his eyes in surprise upon seeing Rex before he turns around to look at the mayor.
The mayor waves his hand as he nodded his head before the man leaves.
“Rex Silverstar, It’s a pleasure”, the mayor strides towards Rex before he stretches out his hand for a handshake that Rex accepts politely.
Rex smiles lightly while shaking the mayor’s hand.
After a moment, the mayor then signals for Rex to get inside the room.
Entering the room, the room looks like a normal work office with a huge window behind the mayor’s desk that shows the city’s view.
‘Everyone likes to have huge windows huh’, Rex thought.
The mayor sits on his seat before Rex sit in front of him,
“So, What is the purpose of your visit to my humble office?”, the mayor asks straight away.
Rex likes the direct talk of the mayor before he replied, “I wanted to go to Wedron City, and I heard you have a transport train to go there”
“Yes we do have it, but you won’t be here if you wanted to go by transport train”, the mayor said realizing what Rex wanted by coming to his office.
After the mayor realizes, Rex then said, “Yes, I want to go by the new formation”
“The guards won’t let me in, they said that I need to get your approval to use the formation”, Rex added stating clearly what he wanted.
Hearin this, the mayor laid back on his seat.
He then said, “I could give you my approval, but it’s expensive to use the formation”
“I’m aware of that. So how much to teleport me, my friends, and a mutated beast to Wedron City?”, Rex asks while studying the mayor’s expression.
The mayor went silent for a moment before he replied, “400 High-Grade Elemental Stones per person or beast”
Rex was taken aback upon hearing this,
With the gifts from Lountain City, Rex thought that he have plenty to use the formation for him and the others.
But turns out, he didn’t have enough.
He currently has 600ish High-Grade Lightning Stones and more than 2000 Mid-Grade Lightning Stones just from Lountain City.
The leftovers of what he possesses after assimilating with Devo can hardly reach 100.
If Rex calculates the stones and converts them all into high-grade, he only possesses around 900 High-Grade lightning stones which are still far from what he requires.
“That’s a bit expensive”, Rex mumbles in thought.
But then suddenly, Rex widened his eyes as he suddenly got an idea before he lift the suppression off of Devo.
[What is it now? I know you want something from me], Devo said feeling annoyed.
Rex didn’t fulfill his promise as he suppress Devo after he got out of Vashag’s sight, and this clearly annoyed Devo judging from his tone.
‘Can you search for a location that is weirdly abundant in mana?’, Rex asks.
Hearing this, Devo sigh in defeat as he replied, [Probably]
‘Great! Then we can work with that’, Rex replied but before he can say anything, the mayor intervene in his train of thoughts.
“You don’t exactly need to pay for the formation”, the mayor said hinting something.
Rex frowns, he studied the mayor’s expression before he replied while squinting his eyes, “What do you exactly propose here?”
“I mean I got problems too, and with your power, you can solve one of them”, the mayor replied.
Upon hearing this, Rex realizes something.
He points to his back recalling the man that just left before he said, “Does this involve the guy that was just here before me?”
“Exactly!”, the mayor replied with a smile.
