With Isabella’s overwhelming attack, Jiang Fei only needed to step forward. Literally… All the monsters that Jiang Fei encountered were immediately killed. All he had to do was lure the monsters, cast Ice Burst, and have the little lady burn them all in one clean swoop.
Level 30 dungeon monsters were not easy, but the monsters themselves provided wholesome Experience Points. Each of them provided around 10,000 Experience Points. A single wave of monsters would provide Jiang Fei with roughly a little over 100,000 Experience Points! Such speed of leveling up was just too fast!
After clearing a short route, Jiang Fei reached the first boss. By then, there was only a third left of his experience bar. The recently leveled-up Jiang Fei was extremely delighted to know that it was possible for him to reach Level 35 by the end of the dungeon!
Sentry Guardian Felix (Bloodborne, Advanced Elite)

Skills: Charge, Frenzy Attack.
Charge: Rushes towards the farthest target. Knocks target down and deals a huge amount of damage.
Frenzy Attack: Immediately deals a powerful strike and increases Attack Speed by 10%.
Note: A true Bloodborne. The manager of the lower end of the Blood Prison.
Bloodborne Foot Soldier (Xenogenesis, Elite)
Level: 30
Health Points: 20,000
Magic Attack: 1,300
Skills: Shadow Bolt, Curse of Pain, Darkness Recovery.
Shadow Bolt: Fires a dark arrow to deal Magic Damage to an enemy. Two-second cast time.
Curse of Pain: Curses a target, deals Damage over Time Shadow Damage. Lasts for 15 seconds.
Darkness Recovery: This Foot Soldier will heal the Sentry Guardian by 10% of his maximum Health Points.
The first boss of the dungeon was not alone; it was accompanied by two little minions. Such a formation was rare in a five-man dungeon run was common in a ten-man dungeon run since there would be a secondary tank in a ten-man party. This boss line up was meant to test the cooperation of the party. Failure to work together would inevitably result in a complete wipeout.
However, as of then, the boss was too easy for Jiang Fei to kill. Jiang Fei did not need to move a muscle to eliminate them! Even if all three of the monsters were to combine their Health Points, they would not be on the same level as Isabella!
“Alright, I’ll kite the monsters. You take on the boss,” Jiang Fei ordered Isabella, to which she gave a quick nod. Jiang Fei nodded back and immediately rushed forward.
“Intruder!” cried the Sentry Guardian. With a loud growl, the boss rushed to intercept Jiang Fei with two of its minions following closely behind.
Since Jiang Fei knew that the boss had the Charge skill, he did not allow the boss to take the initiative first. With a quick dash, Jiang Fei activated his own skill and zoomed towards the boss.
“Bam!”
Since the Sentry Guardian was an Advanced Elite, it did not possess a certain level of immunity to debuffs. Hence, when Jiang Fei activated his Charge, the boss was immediately stunned. When the skill animation ended, a debuff icon appeared above his head. It was Curse of Pain, dealing 500 damage every 2 seconds!
Five hundred DoT Damage was quite severe for your average joe. However, Jiang Fei was no average man. The man had over 30,000 Health Points to spare. Such damage meant nothing to him.
Lightning Strike!

Jiang Fei struck the ground with his hammer, dealing damage and gaining aggro on all three targets.

The boss slammed Jiang Fei powerfully. It was strong, but its attack speed was too slow!
Abyssal Flame!
By then, it was Isabella’s turn to attack. That was the first time Jiang Fei had witnessed Isabella using a single target Magic Attack.

“What the hell? What is that skill!?” cried Jiang Fei. Isabella should have had over 4,000 Magic Attack, yet that black-colored flame had dealt over 7,000 damage in total! It also had Burning Damage OverTime, which continued to tick! What sort of skill could do that? It had to be something Jiang Fei had never heard of before since he knew that most Magician Class players would not have it.
“Nephilim’s Magic Art. Abyssal Flame!” said Isabella proudly when she noticed that Jiang Fei was staring at her in awe. With a quick flick of her wrist, she conjured up another Abyssal Flame and threw it out a second time!
“Oh my god… If you continue to attack like that, I’ll never hold on to the boss’ aggro!”
Jiang Fei had never been a proper tank to begin with. All the aggro that he could ever generate was from his Damage. The problem was, Isabella’s Damage was much higher than his!
As expected, when the second black flame struck the boss, the Sentry Guardian turned away from Jiang Fei and proceeded to attack Isabella!

“Oh come on! How could she have a higher Defense than me?”
Jiang Fei rolled his eyes. The boss had dealt over 800 damage to Jiang Fei but only over 600 to Isabella. What did that prove?
“Insolent fool!” Isabella’s eyes flared with anger as she rose from the ground and roared in fury.
The girl was once a Nephilim Realm Princess. She was a character who was once a Level 99 Overlord-Tier Boss, yet she had been knocked to the ground like a weightless strawman. It was only natural that she would be enraged.
Demon Flame Infusion!
With a flash, black flames burst out from both of Isabella’s palms. With that, she no longer needed to channel her spell. She got into an attack stance and lashed out her fingers, which then became claws, and she attacked the boss mercilessly.

Each time she attacked, two damage texts would pop up. If that was not already powerful enough, her Attack Speed was much faster than a dagger-wielding Bandit. In the blink of an eye, the Sentry Guardian Felix’s Heath Bar dropped to half.
“Screw this. I’ve had enough. It is you who should carry[1] me instead.”
Upon witnessing the power of his “pet,” Jiang Fei was speechless. It was purely a coincidence that Jiang Fei was able to make Isabella his pet. He was supposed to be the main attacker! Yet, Jiang Fei’s pet was now the one taking care of him! Not only was she able to cast spells and deal magical damage, but she was also fully capable of melee combat!
In less than 10 seconds, the boss was burned to death. After killing the boss, Isabella was still not sated. She was still fuming and she had wheeled around to face the two remaining targets. The remaining two minions were slaughtered. In total, she only took 20 seconds to finish the boss fight.

“Little lady, you’re just too macho!” said Jiang Fei with a wink, a huge smile, and a thumbs-up. By then, the black flames on her palms had allayed. Likewise, the murderous look on her face had vanished.
“Oh please… You’re the macho man. I’m just a lady,” said Isabella as she rolled her eyes.
“Hoho. A lady, you say?”
Jiang Fei could not help but roll his eyes as well. The little girl had killed a 250-cm-tall monster and burned the poor fellow to death. How could she call herself a lady?
This dungeon run was supposed to be of the same difficulty as the “Depths of the Night” dungeon. With an Advanced Elite Boss, the dropped equipment should be in the form of a treasure chest. When the boss’ corpse vanished, the chest would appear.
“It’s time to open the treasure chest!” cried Jiang Fei as a silver treasure chest appeared. He smiled from ear to ear, knowing that this was basically a free gift.
