He knew that what he did came with a big risk, but in the end he still prevailed! Dio was sure that he would be able to kill Thanos before he could do anything. Moreover, Thor was also next to him as a precaution in case he failed!
But still, the Infinity Stones and the Infinity Gauntlet were too powerful for the universe to know about them. Therefore, Dio wasn’t quite sure about what to do with them.
Dio lifted the white cloth that covered his body and stood up weakly. Because of the serious injury that he received from Thanos and after spending too much time unconscious, he felt weak! The [Gold Experience] has burned up all of its time limit, but Dio still had two Recharge Card on his hand in case he needed it back. For now, Dio knew that he would recover over time and so, he didn’t have to use the Recharge Card now.
Dio smiled bitterly and started to examine his physical condition thoroughly. At this time, he didn’t know what happened to the universe after his pronounced death, but nevertheless, he was relieved that he could still come back to life without any major problem. After making sure that he didn’t have any underlying threat to his health, he sat back down in relief.
“How long have I been here?” Dio said to himself as he really didn’t know how long the war had passed and what happened to the casualties. He didn’t even see Pietro’s body in there as they should have been kept at the same place. Dio wanted to comfort Wanda right now as he didn’t really know how bad Wanda’s psyche was right now.
“I am not too sure, but at the very least, you are here for a few hours. The injury you received was too heavy! The snail that you kept on your body has turned into ashes and the one that inject you full of life energy had disappeared without any trace. I restore your body as I was the only one left to do so, but I couldn’t tell how long it was!” Venom said as he popped out from Dio’s body.
Dio immediately realised that Venom was really a good asset in Peter Parker’s arsenal. Dio thought that Venom was wasted on Peter as Venom was a really powerful creature, but now he knew that Peter really needed Venom the most due to constant exposure of criminals! Peter as the Spiderman dealt with criminals the most out of the others Heroes in the Marvel Universe!
Dio already made up his mind. He would later return Venom to Peter, even if Venom would end up in Flash’s hands eventually. Venom himself also knew what Dio was thinking right now as they were bonded together, but it didn’t say anything as it also wanted to be with Peter the most.
But then again, Dio finally realised what Venom was talking and immediately searched for the Little Snail around him. He couldn’t sense the snail anywhere with his Hamon Energy and finally he saw bits and pieces of dried up snails in the bed he was kept. He had ignored the Little Snail’s existence for the longest of time as he only used its ability for his own convenience! He now regretted his atitude in the past after it all was over!
Now that Little Snail has sacrificed itself to save Dio from death, Dio finally felt an extreme sadness from losing his first Stand Pet. Dio felt compelled to smoke at the moment, but he didn’t have any on him at the moment.
Dio immediately stood up and walked out of the room with heavy steps. He knew that everyone who found him alive would be rejoiced right now and so, he needed that kind of atmosphere to brighten up his day.
But he soon found it odd as there was no one around there. Not even one guard could be seen anywhere! He began to wonder if something terrible happened right after Thanos has been dealt with. A bad hunch lingered in his mind as he didn’t really know what happened, but that was only until he pushed door to the conference room!
“Dio!” Steve, Tony, Natasha, Banner, and Thor all looked up as they felt someone opening the door, and were surprised to see Dio was alive and well!
“What happened? Where is everyone else? Why are you guys the only one here?” Dio asked as he was confused by the amount of people in the room. He neither could explain how he was resurrected from death, nor did he want to explain it anyway, so he asked for an explanation instead.
But as soon as Banner wanted to say something, Natasha stopped him and Steve immediately calmed down the situation.
“Wait a minute. When was the first time we met each other?” Natasha asked worriedly as she put her hands on her waist, ready to draw her gun if Dio couldn’t answer such a personal question. Dio immediately realised that something was definitely wrong after his so-called Death!
“In Dio’s Fantasy Restaurant! You came in my store with your fake identity and pretended to be my guest to eat at my place!” Dio said annoyedly. He ought to know the details of what had happened after he defeated Thanos, but he knew he had to calm the Avengers down first.
“Well, you are the real Dio! No need to say anything else anymore.” Natasha said as she was relieved and smiled at Dio. She didn’t want to be reminded by that shameful deed she had done in the past, but it was the safest question she could come up with to make sure that the Dio in front of her right now was the real Dio!
“Dio, are you alright? We all thought that you are dead already!” Steve said as everyone hugged Dio gratefully.
“It’s a long story and I will explain it in detail to you later! But in short, I was just lucky to survive Thanos’ last attack, but answer my question first! What happened to the others? Where is Wanda? How about the casualties of the war? Are the Infinity Stones already secured?” Dio immediately asked a series of question before anyone could answer any of them.
