Loki has been observing them for a while and noticed that the instrument on these so-called God turned red when the people in front of them was ‘Unqualified’ while it would turn green when they were qualified!
Loki smirked as he thought that he could just use his illusion to turn the staff’s light into green if it happened to light up red! After waiting in line for a while, it was finally Loki’s turn! Loki stepped forward confidently, trying his best to hold back himself from killing any of these so-called Gods! He must get his hand on one of the spaceships that these Gods used, and he needed to be patient for that!
The God waved the unknown instrument in front of Loki, and suddenly, a yellow light appeared! Loki was surprised as he never saw a yellow light before. So, because of his lack of information, he wasn’t sure whether the yellow light was supposed to be bad or good! He could cover it up with his illusion, but now it was already too late as the gods were all surprised to see a yellow light too!
But judging from the Gods’ reaction, he concluded that Yellow light didn’t seem to be bad. So, Loki decided to wait and see what happened next. Even if he failed and something bad awaited him, he could just try again and change his appearance to fool these Gods!
He noticed that the gods immediately contacted the spaceship with the device in their hand. He became nervous as he didn’t know what will these Gods do to something beyond their knowledge. But fortunately for Loki, thanks to his Asgard upbringing, he could understand almost all languages in the universe! He tried to eavesdrop on these Gods and heard something confusing.
“Come to the hall. I found the son of a god! The leader will be very happy of this finding!” the so-called Gods that spoke with the communicator said excitedly without any concern that Loki was within a hearing distance.
Surely, Loki was confused! Just what did the unknown instrument detect? Even so, Loki tried to keep his calm as it still sounded like it was a good thing. There was no way someone with the title of the Son of a God would be treated badly!
Moreover, Loki even thought of taking over the Dark Crystal Sect by using this newfound title!
After the so-called gods finished speaking with whoever it was on the other side of the communication device, Loki was brought into the spaceship! Countless people that have been waiting in line to meet with the Gods clearly felt envious of the treatment that Loki got from their Gods.
Loki still thought about Asgard, Ragnarok, and Hela, but he thought it was no use for him to think about it now as it would be too late even if he rushed towards Asgard right now! Asgard would’ve already fallen into Hela’s hand, and the Ragnarok would happen soon after. Furthermore, he got no chance against Hela when Thor, whom he had never won against in the past, was defeated without any chance to do anything to Hela!
Loki considered himself a person of rational thought. Unlike Thor that lived his life whilst trying hard, Loki wouldn’t take a losing fight! Now, if Thor returned to Asgard and was killed by Hela, Loki swore in all that was holy that he would try to avenge Thor later, but it wouldn’t happen any time soon!
This was Loki that we are talking about. Even in the original plot, it took quite an effort from Thor to convince Loki to escape Sakaar with him because as he was thinking about it now, returning to Asgard was a death sentence! Even now that the plot has changed, Loki’s train of thoughts hasn’t changed!

If none of you tell me where the sword’s whereabouts, all of you will be executed here!” Skurge shouted as he tried his best to gain Hela’s trust. But the people in the square didn’t say anything. Although they were scared of Hela, they wouldn’t let her do whatever she wanted! So, they remained silent as their way of rebelling against Hela!
