The Grandmaster was enjoying the show as he didn’t think he had to resort to his tricks to ensure the Hulk’s victory. But Dio just smirked as he knew it was too early to think that the Hulk had won as Thor was about to get serious! Thor regained his thunder and shocked the Hulk, sending him flying before hitting the ground hard!
The Grandmaster couldn’t help but stand from his seat as he couldn’t believe what he just saw. Obviously, he had no idea Thor could do such a thing, and it wasn’t just the Grandmaster alone. Even the 100.000 audiences in the arena were quiet as they were surprised by this turn of events. The only one who already knew something like this would happen was Dio, so he didn’t seem surprised at all.
Thor was ecstatic as he felt the surge of power coming from his body. He regained his confidence and looked the Hulk straight in the eyes. “Before I come here, I lost my father and my beloved hammer. I also lost an eye to the same person that took everything from me! Now, my people are waiting for me to save them while my brother’s whereabouts were unknown! If you want to make my day, then come and be my guest!” Thor said coldly.
The Hulk immediately rushed towards Thor and leaped high, but this time, Thor that had regained his thunder could move faster than the Hulk, giving him the upper hand. Thor focused the thunder in his right fist and punched the Hulk in the face, sending him flying once again. The crackling thunder exploded and definitely injuring the Hulk! Although normal people wouldn’t be able to get back up after Thor’s attack, the Hulk was exceptionally sturdy!
The Hulk stood back up again, but it was clear that the punch did some damage as the Hulk seemed a little bit dizzy. Dio himself frowned as he saw the punch earlier as he knew that his Hamon Barrier wouldn’t be able to block Thor’s punch completely!
The audience began to chant Thor’s name as they were excited to see such a powerful attack! In fact, none of the audience even chanted the Hulk’s name anymore as they were mesmerized by Thor’s power. Dio sighed as he remembered when the name Team Phoenix first came around inside this arena. It was obviously an embarrassing moment of his life!
At the same time, Thor walked towards the Hulk, but the Grandmaster that was nervous that he would lose his Champion immediately grabbed the stick beside his seat and pushed some buttons. This button was supposed to electrocute Thor on the arena and cause him unable to move his body any longer, but complete to the Grandmaster’s surprise, nothing happened! He pushed the button repeatedly, but still, nothing happened!
The Grandmaster then took a closer look at the cane on his hand and noticed that the light that was supposed to be on didn’t light up. The Grandmaster was convinced that the cane must’ve broken at this point, but why would it break so suddenly?
Now the only thing on the Grandmaster’s mind was what should he do to ensure his victory! The Grandmaster returned to his seat and watched as Thor made a spectacle out of the Hulk! At the same time, Dio that was observing the Grandmaster’s confused and disappointed look, couldn’t help but chuckle a few times. He had already known that the Grandmaster would do something to ensure the Hulk’s victory. Thus, he used [Red Hot Chili Pepper] to break the cane on the Grandmaster’s side as he knew that the cane had to be the remote control to electrocute Thor!
It was easy to do as the Grandmaster’s attention was too focused on the arena. The Grandmaster didn’t notice the tiny electric spark on the cane at some point. Now, the Grandmaster couldn’t do any daring act as he would bring shame to himself in front of 100.000 audiences. Unless he no longer wanted to hold another championship, he had to take this one as a loss.
Now, Dio lost his excitement as the fight was no longer interesting. Thor had regained his thunder, and Hulk was losing his temper. Finally, when the Hulk’s body hit the ground and was no longer moving, the Grandmaster had to announce Thor’s victory!
When Thor stood up and the audience roared, the audience no longer hesitated to express their enthusiasm and cheered for the Little Spark, the title that the Grandmaster gave Thor earlier to their heart’s content.
In terms of popularity, maybe Thor was more popular among the audience than the Hulk ever was, but still, it was a weird moment to see Thor being cheered by so many men, although there were so many women among the audience.
No one cheered for the Hulk anymore as the winner took it all here. No one cared about the loser after the championship was over!
But as Dio watched Thor in the arena, Dio immediately frowned! Didn’t Thor just lose his father? Why was he so happy being fawned over by these people? His home was even taken over by his psychopathic sister, and his people were waiting to be rescued, but Thor was happy just from hearing the cheers of some random audience?
Dio had to admit that Thor had a personality of an adolescent despite already being a grown-up man, but this was really something that he shouldn’t be happy about! Dio thought Thor might be venting his anger and frustration towards the Hulk, but seeing his happy face really threw that thought out of the window!
But if it wasn’t for Thor’s attempt to calm the Hulk down, the Hulk was probably still going to keep fighting, but as he was calmed down earlier, the Hulk lost almost all of his anger.
The Hulk without his anger wasn’t a threat at all. He was probably reduced to some street-level hero like the Power Man! But, if the Hulk was super angry, he could even destroy a planet! That ws where the epithet World Breaker Hulk came from!
“Thor is really a child, but he is growing quite nicely. I don’t know if his last word was meant to calm the Hulk down, or is it just a coincidence!” Dio said to himself. He knows that Thor wasn’t the smartest of the bunch. In terms of brainpower, Loki was much more capable than he ever would be!
