Dave instantly appeared in front of the man and swung his sword, invoking the words.

“I suspect it has a certain time limit,” Dave speculated, still unable to see the man’s face due to the flames.
“So what? It’s sufficient to kill you.”
“Ashura’s Fire Explosion,” the man invoked, conjuring a drop of his blood that detonated before Dave.

The explosion nearly razed the surroundings, yet Dave remained standing, shielded by the surrounding space.

Dave tapped his chest where his heart resided. The man in red suddenly felt his heartbeat quicken.
