Dave was testing Kasuya, observing his nervous reaction.
He knew that something was amiss with Kasuya and that he possessed certain knowledge.
The Ancestor bowed to Kasuya and left the place after bidding farewell to Dave.
Kasuya smiled, and his nervousness dissipated.
He began to think that the lord might have misunderstood the situation.
Judging from Dave’s eager expression, it seemed he was here solely to visit their domain.
Kasuya guided Dave to various places, and Dave admitted that the location was pleasant, except for the presence of bald individuals.
He even noticed that the women here were bald and felt sympathy for them.
“Frustrating! How am I supposed to pull their hair if they’re bald?”
Dave cursed inwardly upon seeing some attractive monk women, despite their lack of hair.
Kasuya accompanied Dave for many hours, causing him to lower his guard.
Meanwhile, Dave was searching for the true instigator behind the scheme.

“Master Kasuya, I’ve heard about a place you have called Buddhist Mountain, a location only accessible to you. Why not permit me to visit that place?” Dave inquired.

Within Buddhist Mountain, a man dressed in red garments sensed the arrival of two individuals and furrowed his brows.
“So, he’s already here? Kasuya truly is incompetent,” he muttered to himself.
“But at least I can discreetly eliminate this person.”
His body exuded a potent aura of hostility, yet the surroundings of the mountain suppressed the intensity of his killing intent.
Opting to remain in this place, he planned to operate from the shadows while carrying out his tasks. Rising to his feet, he unsheathed a crimson sword, readying himself for a confrontation.
Confident in his abilities, he believed he could eliminate the intruder.
His primary concern lay with the Alexander Clan; their domain’s formation had nearly exposed him.

Entering the dense fog, Dave realized that everything within was secluded from the rest of the domain.
With a smirk, he declared, “Alright, time to make a move.”
In an instant, Dave’s sword plunged into Kasuya’s chest, catching him off guard.
A bewildered “What?” escaped Kasuya as he realized he was under attack.
Dave’s rapid summoning of a black sword and his unmatched speed left Kasuya incapable of reacting.
Kasuya swiftly retrieved a bracelet infused with mana and escaped 50 meters away from Dave, coughing blood in the process.
Desperate, he questioned, “Arghh! What are you doing?”
Attempting to regenerate and heal himself, Kasuya found his efforts in vain.
The bleeding persisted, and the more he employed his energy to mend the wounds, the more severe they became.
To his dismay, a dark energy invaded his body.
With a smile, Dave inquired, “So, where’s the guy with the fox mask?”
“Arghh, so you already knew,”
Kasuya admitted, ceasing his charade.
His expression turned into an evil grin.
He felt toyed with, realizing that Dave had been aware of his feigned ignorance.
“Amitabha, Ashura Absorption,”
Kasuya invoked abruptly. The skill absorbed the dark energy within him, transforming it into a small marble in his hand.
“Ah, quite an intriguing skill. Just as I suspected, you have ties to the Ashura Clan,”
Dave smirked. He recognized the unique nature of the technique, capable of transmuting energy into marbles.
He also noticed its energy-draining effects on Kasuya, who appeared weakened.

Kasuya declared, dropping his pretense.
Dave had already transported Samantha to his pocket dimension.
While confident in his victory, he refused to let any harm befall her due to the lurking shadowy figure.
Dave clapped his palms and chanted, “Amitabha.”
“Your demise is imminent,” he calmly stated.
“Ah, Yama awaits you,” he continued.
“Fret not, I’ll take care of your beautiful mother and sister.”
With those words, a multitude of different energies surged toward the monk.
“What is that?” Kasuya felt an overwhelming and terrifying power emanating from the energy.
The speed was so great that he couldn’t react in time.

“Arghh!”
“What is this?”
“Arhh… I hate you.”
Kasuya attempted to chant numerous scriptures to counteract the effects, but his efforts were in vain.
His mind started to be corrupted, and Dave’s energy of sins infiltrated his thoughts.
He began experiencing sensations of lust, wrath, sloth, greed, hunger, pride, and envy.
“Ahhh!”
“Buddha, please be merciful and aid this poor monk,” Kasuya pleaded desperately.
He realized that while the rumors about Dave were terrifying, he still believed he could confront him directly and escape if things went awry.

Suddenly, Dave froze time, his smile playful.
Approaching the monk, he observed the corruption taking hold in his mind, the energy of sin proving resistant to removal unless countered with light-based powers.
Dave was on the verge of scanning the monk’s mind when he sensed a disruption in a region that had been affected by his time manipulation.

A figure clothed in red and wearing a fox mask dashed forward, brandishing a one-meter-long red sword. Reacting swiftly, Dave lunged at the intruder, but to his surprise, the encounter turned ominous.
“Oh?”
Dave was caught off guard, and even as he escaped, his left hand was cut off.

Dave appeared 100 meters away from that guy, and time resumed.
The man in red looked at Kasuya and saw that he was already corrupted; it was hard to save him unless he killed the caster. “A demonic skill, huh?”
He looked at Dave, who didn’t even frown when his left hand was cut by the man’s sword.
Dave looked at his wounds and realized that his regeneration ability was useless against the sword, but he had the law of life.
Therefore, such wounds would be healed easily, and he could recover his limb.
