Huo Rong’s smile widened looking at Shen Yuan’s confused face, she took a step towards him and smiled, “Saw something interesting?”
Shen Yuan looked at her from up to down a couple of times before his eyes lit up, “You broke through??” he excitedly asked.
Huo Rong smiled and nodded her head, “Yes, it’s been a while since we reached the peak of Mortal Tribulation Realm, so we broke our core and formed our nascent soul.”
Shen Yuan quickly caught the small detail, “Our? You mean Big Sis Bing Rong also broke through to the Nascent Soul Stage?”
Huo Rong giggled and nodded, “Yes, she is with Sect Master, since they are preparing to leave she is there with them.”
Shen Yuan’s smile widened, he stepped forward and hugged her tightly, “Congratulations on advancing big sis.”
Bing Rong sweetly smiled and placed her head on his chest before hugging him back. “Hehe, we increased the distance again, now when will you be able to catch up to us?”
Shen Yuan smirked, “I will reach your level before you know it. Just wait for a bit.”

Shen Yuan nodded and followed her, “So, who is going to the Aurora competition with us?”
“Bing Rong volunteered so she is going since she is now the strongest Inner Elder. Hehe, she should be a Core Elder now but since she just advanced it will be a while before her formal ceremony is held. And with her are going 2 Core Elders and the Grand Elder.” She softly said.
“Oh? Grand Elder? I think I have not seen her once, I wonder how strong she is.” He wondered aloud.
Huo Rong answered while exiting the ten-story pagoda, “Well, I heard from the master that the grand elder is as strong as the Sect Master.”
“Oh? They are taking this Aurora Competition quite seriously. Sending one of their strongest combatants out there.” Shen Yuan said, his voice held a hint of surprise.
Huo Rong giggled and said in an amused voice, “Well, what do you think? It’s the biggest competition that our sect takes part in. If we won’t send our strongest combatant then other sects will think we are weak.”
Shen Yuan thought about it for a second and realized that not only were the disciples competing but also the sect in showing off their might, but his mind wandered off to another thought, “So, what is the opinion of the Grand Elder about me? Is she like the Sect Leader and supports me or does she not like how a man like me polluted their holy lady of female-only disciples?”
Huo Rong paused and looked at him amusedly, “You have some wild thoughts ongoing huh, she indeed did not like you at the start and was strongly against the idea of letting you join the sect. But as you show more and more results and your absurd talent, she quieted down and began supporting you.”
“Even though she doesn’t support you unconditionally like the Sect Leader but she still appreciates what you have done for the sect so far.”

What came into his view was a massive ship landed in the air above a peak. Quite a few disciples were gathered on the peak of that hill with Elders around them.
Shen Yuan and Huo Rong quietly approached that hill from the sky, drawing attention from all the disciples and elders.
The Grand Elder, with bright golden hair and blue eyes, was standing in front of the group of disciples giving some instructions, but noticing the newcomer’s arrival she turned her head and looked at Huo Rong first before shifting her gaze to Shen Yuan.
While among the disciples, Lei Ranyu, the core disciple who wanted to challenge Shen Yuan was staring directly at him, ‘So, you are finally here huh. Good, I will directly fight with you on the Aurora Competition if not here.’
Shen Yuan didn’t look at any of the disciples or elders, instead, his gaze went straight to Bing Rong, who was quietly looking at him with a small smile.
He smiled back and descended right beside her. But before greeting her, he turned around and slightly bowed toward the Grand Elder, “Greeting Grand Elder, and Elders. Sorry I was late, I was in seclusion inside the training pagoda.”
Grand Elder looked at him carefully before nodding her head, “Don’t worry about it, we still have some time before we depart. Sect Leader will be here shortly.”
Shen Yuan nodded his head, while the other elders also nodded towards him in a slight greeting.
He turned back towards Bing Rong and felt the same improvement that he had felt from Huo Rong, he excitedly stepped forward and hugged her tightly, “Congratulations on advancement Big Sis.”
Bing Rong got flustered as her face turned beet red when everyone glanced at her direction, she quickly used her ice Qi to form a wall around the two of them.
