“I am not a senior; I merely wanted the ore for my own purposes,” Kent said, causing everyone in the hall to look at him strangely.
“Then I would like to let this junior know that this Metal Ore is something we blacksmiths need for our craft.
If this junior doesn’t mind, perhaps we can have it?” Metal Saint Andrew asked again, maintaining his calm expression and demeanour.
“No can do. Like I said, I also have a use for it. Normally, I would have accepted, but what I need it for is something I cannot delay in hopes of getting lucky again,” Kent replied, knowing three people were about to take offence.
As expected, a soul attack landed on his soul right when he said those words. There are formations, but a soul attack from a Root Transcendent holds some strength in it.

Kent just smirked. Even Elsa smirked and asked Kent if she should retaliate, but he said no.
“Juniors should make way for the seniors to have what they need because through them, it’s true that we all can learn something new,” Elder Cecil from the Everlasting Immortal Sword Sect spoke, causing many to nod in agreement.
She wasn’t about to let three blacksmiths take a loss like she did, so she chose to fan the flames.
“True, as a junior, you should let your seniors have this. This way, you will even earn their good graces,” another figure spoke from a VIP room.

While the people began speaking in favour of the three blacksmiths, another soul attack came from Metal Saint Andrew, who just couldn’t believe Kent had survived the first attack.

Elsa was just asking for the go-ahead to launch her own attack, considering she was sensing the attacks coming at Kent.
However, he said no. Instead, he looked toward the ore one last time.

Kent raised the price to the next level, showing everyone that he not only cared little for subtle threats but also had the money to back up his arrogance and disrespect.
Alina, who never expected that amount to be mentioned, looked toward Kent’s booth and sighed inwardly. But then reality kicked in, and she smiled.
“Price set at one billion. Are there any more offers?” she asked, but even after 30 seconds, nobody said a word.
“The item is sold to the gentleman in VIP room 13,” Alina announced, and everyone looked in Kent’s direction.
Two things had now occurred, and each was equally shocking.
Not only had he bought the item for a billion, but he had also disregarded the threats from the powerful figures and went ahead to purchase the metal ore from the three Metal Saints.
It was like standing at the centre of the auction house and raising a middle finger at everyone.
Alina, who was now smiling for selling a billion-dollar item on her first day, began to sense the hostile energies rising from the VIP boxes.
“I would like to point out that this is an auction house where the rich have all the say using their money. He bought the item because he has the funds, so lets all respect that.
However, if you have any grievances to settle with him after the auction, please be sure to take it outside of the auction house.

Alina’s words were like the voice of a god. Just those few sentences brought calm to the auction house. As she said, while inside the auction house, the rich hold the power.
