They all wanted the fragment from space.
Everyone knew anything from outer space was valuable, so hearing it was a fragment of a star, they all wanted it. In fact, many had already inquired if anyone knew those who had found it.
From what Alina said, this adult head-sized fragment was from the main body of the real thing. Obviously, hearing that Root Sovereign stage spirit beasts protected it didn’t seem to deter them.

Kent was the same. He needed that fragment, considering what his enchanted eyes were showing was something he couldn’t pass up.

Right now, it was a Root Great Sage-level doll. However, with what he was seeing from this treasure, Kent could tell the doll would gain some serious upgrades if this fragment was used to enhance it.
One good thing about having battle dolls was that you only needed treasures like this to increase their strength. Of course, you would require blacksmiths to do that.
But Kent had the Tower, so he wasn’t worried.
In fact, he had already tried buying some of these treasures from the Tower shop, but the prices weren’t something he could easily afford.
Now, a rather good opportunity had appeared. But aside from that, he already had something he would be asking Alina this evening after the auction.

Kent just smiled but didn’t say anything and continued to watch the battle, which went on for an hour until only three people were left still bidding.
The price had reached 50 million, yet it kept increasing. The battle for the star fragment is the first real bidding war, so everyone is enjoying it.
“55 million,” a bulky man with arms that could snap the life out of anyone shouted in a deep tone. He doesn’t need an introduction to know he raises a lot of hammers.

“Isn’t that the Saint Blacksmith from the Kyrrith Kingdom?” one person whispered, but almost everyone heard it.
“Indeed, it’s Metal Saint Rocky,” another person said, and just like that, the identity of one of the 14 Saint Blacksmiths in the human continent was revealed.
The 14 are the backbone of blacksmithing in the human continent.
“60 million,” another person said, making everyone wonder who the second person was.
“That is Metal Saint Andrew. He is also from the Kyrrith Kingdom, and from the rumours going around, he and Metal Saint Rocky are rivals in everything.
Clearly, we will see a good fight here today. This will be good to watch,” Another person said cheerfully.
The identity of another Saint blacksmith was revealed, causing everyone to take a cold breath.
In the world of Sonox, blacksmiths are ranked the same as alchemists or any path, like the sword, spear, and the like.
When one starts off, they are just known as Common, Adept, and the like; however, when they reach the Grandmaster stage, they will gain the title “Metal” to their name.
Metal Grandmaster Kent, for example.
This also means anyone with a “Metal” title to their name is someone worthy of respect. So, to see the two get into a bidding war, they are all expecting a good fight.
“70 million!” Suddenly, a third voice entered the fray, causing everyone to look at VIP Room 4.
“That is Metal Saint Adolf from the Athea Kingdom. He is also the head of the Blacksmith Association in the Athea Kingdom. This keeps getting fun!”
“Metal Saint Adolf, the same blacksmith who crafted the first-ever Heaven-grade treasure… He is actually in this year’s auction and even here on the first day. This is wild!”
The auction hall turned into murmurs as everyone discussed the sudden discovery that three of the 14 Metal Saints were actually in attendance and were bidding in what appeared to be the first of many bidding wars to happen within the three days of the auction.
This is wild, and everyone in attendance can tell that. People like the three metal saints mostly appear on the third day when all the crazy stuff would be auctioned.
So, all three appearing on the first day can be considered a wild encounter.
“80 million!” Metal Saint Rocky shouted from his VIP room, causing everyone to look toward the two other VIP rooms.
“85 million…” Metal Saint Andrew threw in his bid, raising the bid by 5 million.
“You two kids should let this big brother have this,” Metal Saint Adolf said before stating his bid. “90 million.”
“Why don’t you let this junior brother have it instead? I am working on a piece, and this fragment would be a good addition to it,” the bulky Rocky also said.
“100 million,” he raised the bid by ten million.
Metal Saint Adolf gritted his teeth, hearing such a huge raise from the bulky blacksmith.
“This is not going to end well for the three of us, so why don’t I have this? I know there will be other opportunities, considering this isn’t the last item for today.
If you let me have this, I won’t fight over the next item. How does that sound?”
“110 million,” Metal Saint Andrew proposed, but the two weren’t about to lose such a treasure. They wanted the treasure, and if it meant going to war over it for an entire day, then so be it.
Unfortunately, someone with no idea how to spend his money was just waiting for this moment to shatter their dreams.
The price rose to 140 million, but they weren’t about to stop. So, the dragon stepped in.
“Since you three seniors couldn’t come up with a compromise, then I will be taking the ore from your hands. 600 million,” Kent said, and jaws dropped.
