Kent chose to break the tension and let the Gate Master recover her emotions first before logical thinking came into play.
‘But the fact that she chose to be a dancer really is something,’ Kent said inwardly, subtly picturing the body of the Gate Master dancing and shaking her bum.
‘On the other hand, I could pay a fortune to watch her dance,’ Kent smiled.
But he had to give it to the Gate Master. For someone who chose to be a dancer to go from dancing to taking up the sword and becoming a sword sage, it could only take a genius.

“The sect master? How does my presence have anything to do with this?” Kent asked.
“I am sure whatever happened to big sister will happen to you, too. You said there is an evil presence blocking you from sensing where she is at.
If that were the case, it would only mean that the sect master is an evil practitioner.
The presence of evil is probably coming from him. So, this means he only goes after a unique set of people.

“You can never know who wants to cause harm,” he replied before turning to Gate Master Mara, who was looking at him with questioning eyes.
“I don’t know if her disciple is alive or dead, but since Nara is alive, then I can presume she is also alive. All the same, we will find out soon anyway.” The two Gate Masters, now sitting side by side, nodded.
“Now, I don’t know about you two gorgeous ladies, but I don’t like the sound of having an evil practitioner as a sect master, so let’s talk plans. Who gets to drive their sword through his heart?” Kent asked, making the ladies frown.
“What?” Kent asked again.
“You do know the Sect Master is a Root Ascension stage expert, someone a hundred of us cannot even last ten minutes against.
And if that is not worse, know that he is a mage capable of casting Tier 10 spell circles,” Gate Master Mara said with an expression full of concern. Kent, however, just laughed.
“You don’t get my question, ladies. I am not planning on going toe-to-toe with him. Nah, I am not that stupid. I am still young and full of energy to spend on my ladies; I wouldn’t waste that.”
Kent smiled, making the ladies look at him weirdly.
“You’ve heard this saying before, haven’t you? ‘Even gods can be killed if you have prep time.’ Well, the Sect Master can also be killed if we have prep time, and let me tell you, ladies, we have more than enough prep time, so he will die.
Now, what I want to know is which of the three of us will get to stab him through the heart when he is down.”

The two Gate Masters stared at where he had stood and then at each other, both sighing.
“Just who is this kid?” Gate Master Camilla asked.
They could only wonder in silence, not knowing what to think. Kent is like that person who appears, and instead of getting to know him, you start asking all kinds of questions that cannot be answered.
He is a mystery, and now, the ladies, whom he had brought some hopeful news, started making plans for when he would return.
