The sky turned pitch black, with only a purple silhouette hovering in the sky, a terrifying power erupting from Zenobia’s body.
In that instant, the entire Western Sea — even the whole Eternal Continent — trembled. Then, to everyone’s shock, a nearly impenetrable black passageway slowly opened in the sky, covering almost the entire Sea of Mist.
Through this passage, one could see the pitch-black demonic realm on the other side, with a red moon hanging high. Countless monsters, all with blood-red eyes and various forms, emerged from the darkness.
They seemed to be summoned by some force, surging toward the passage like a tide, so densely packed that it was impossible to see the end. Among them were innumerable low-level monsters, as well as a large number of high-tier monsters and Superclass monsters.
At this sight, everyone’s expressions changed.
The Abyssal Demon Realm Node?!
This was the only thought running through Luca’s mind.
Even combining his two lifetimes, this was the first time he had seen such a massive Abyssal Node. If all these monsters came pouring out, who knew how long the entire Eternal World could last?
After all, in his previous life, when monsters arrived, it was only through small nodes — nothing like the massive passage Zenobia had just opened.
After the Abyssal Demon Realm passage opened, Zenobia didn’t pay any attention to the monsters. Instead, she turned and headed toward the deepest part of the darkness.

The pillar soared into the sky, disappearing into the clouds, completely black with intricate red blood-like patterns carved on it. The designs resembled a mass of red worms, and at its center were chains formed from black runes, binding a woman in a tattered white gown. Her head hung low, making it impossible to discern her features, but her long hair cascaded around her.
Just as Zenobia looked at her, the woman suddenly stirred, slowly raising her head to reveal a face identical to Sophia’s, Zenobia’s, and Pandora’s.
The difference, however, was that the woman’s eyes were devoid of any emotion, only overflowing with endless murderous intent and hatred. Just one glance from her was enough to make one feel as though they were falling into an endless abyss, destined to sink forever.
Everyone who saw her, including Luca, was filled with terror, as if they had encountered the embodiment of all evil thoughts in the world, the very incarnation of every desire.
Just as Luca was about to be consumed by the sensation of falling, a voice suddenly rang out in his ear, calling urgently: “Luca! Wake up! Don’t look into her eyes! Luca!…”
The voice echoed in his mind, and Luca jolted, snapping out of his trance. He quickly pulled himself away from the overwhelming sensation of being ensnared.
“You finally woke up, huh?” a familiar voice rang in his ear — it was the one who had just roused him. Luca turned to look, and only then did he notice that the Solar Divine Spear had appeared beside him at some point.
“What happened?” Luca looked around, noticing that the people around him seemed to have lost their sense of perception, their minds immersed in their own worlds. On their faces, there was nothing but numbness and pain.
Even Rod was frowning deeply, his face twisted with hatred, while Fratis looked at them with confusion, as if, like him, she had no idea what was going on. It seemed that she was unaffected by the strange force.
Seeing that Luca was unharmed, Solar Divine Spear let out a long sigh of relief and explained, “This is Zenobia’s ability. Anyone who looks at her is triggered by the desires and sins buried deep within their hearts, causing them to become lost in those feelings. They are trapped until they either succumb to despair and die, or fall deeper into darkness. The chaos that ravaged the Divine Court all those years ago began because of this.”
What a bizarre ability.
Thinking back to his own state earlier, Luca was drenched in cold sweat, a wave of fear surging through his heart.
If Solar Divine Spear hadn’t awakened him, he might have ended up like the others, trapped in that inescapable despair.
Luca instinctively wanted to look at the woman bound to the stone pillar, but in the end, he forcefully restrained himself.
Zenobia’s power was just too eerie. Until he was absolutely certain he could deal with her, Luca felt it was better not to indulge his curiosity.
He glanced at the monsters, which were already beginning to fall toward the Western Sea, and asked Solar Divine Spear, “Is there any way to stop this?”
However, as soon as the words left his mouth, he realized it was a futile question.
“If I had a way, I wouldn’t have been nearly torn apart by her power all those years ago,” Solar Divine Spear replied helplessly, rubbing his forehead. “I suggest you prepare for the worst.”
The worst… Luca furrowed his brow. Was he supposed to run away? Setting aside the potential disasters that could unfold if the situation here wasn’t resolved, he simply couldn’t ignore Sophia.
Seemingly reading his thoughts, Solar Divine Spear sighed and said, “I know you can’t just leave her behind, but Zenobia is not someone who can be easily dealt with. If you don’t want to see yourself and everyone else die here, I suggest you take a few people and leave now. As for that girl…”
He hesitated before adding, “She’s beyond saving.”
“No,” Luca shook his head without thinking. “If I can’t even save one woman, how can I save my family or this world?”
He looked at Solar Divine Spear and said, “Think harder. Is there any other way, like a divine spell or something? My divine soul attributes should have reached the necessary level by now.”
When he obtained the Celestial Pearl, the power not only enhanced his body and abilities but also strengthened his physical form and soul. Now, his mental attributes had surpassed a million, and if he could learn a divine spell, he might still have a chance to save Sophia.
Solar Divine Spear was truly at a loss. He was about to say that even if there was a way, Luca wouldn’t be able to learn it in time. Seeing Luca’s resolve, Solar Divine Spear didn’t say anything further. He extended his hand, and a small point of golden light appeared at his fingertip before touching Luca’s forehead.
In an instant, Luca felt as though his mind had expanded, filled with a wealth of new information. Upon further examination, he realized that it was the method to learn and use a divine spell.
Solar Divine Spear explained, “This divine spell is called ‘Golden Lock Divine Spell.’ It’s the one that girl used before. The name may be a bit lacking, but its effects are excellent. It was a God Lord-level divine spell that the God King bestowed upon my master back in the day. It’s the most powerful binding divine spell I know of.”
He paused for a moment, eyeing Luca with a serious look. “Right now, Zenobia is at her weakest. If you can learn this divine spell within twenty minutes, you might still have a chance to save her.”
That meant, if Luca couldn’t learn this divine spell in twenty minutes, Sophia would be lost forever, fully merged with Zenobia.
“I’ll try,” Luca said in a low voice.
Despite having a maximum talent for comprehension, Luca had no confidence that he could learn a God Lord-level divine spell in such a short time.
But no matter what, he couldn’t just stand by and watch Sophia die.
After saying that, he didn’t waste another second. He focused all his attention on the divine spell in his mind. This divine spell didn’t come with any specific learning method, so the only way to learn it was through direct imitation.
With twenty minutes on the clock, Luca had enough time to try about four times.
In other words, he had only four attempts.

On his first attempt, he only made a few strokes before a mistake caused the entire divine spell to collapse.
He didn’t hesitate and immediately began a second attempt.
Unfortunately, it was another failure, this time because he had exerted too much divine power.
On his third attempt, he failed again, this time due to using too little divine power.
Now, with only one chance remaining.
Luca’s breathing became hurried.
Less than five minutes remained—just enough time for one more attempt. If he failed…
Luca furrowed his brow, a sense of unease starting to settle in his heart.
After a brief silence, he stopped trying and closed his eyes, his chest rising and falling as he began to take deep breaths, trying to calm himself.
With each breath, his emotions gradually settled, and the anxious feeling disappeared, replaced by a deep sense of tranquility.
Then, he once again summoned the divine power within him, a golden divine light emerging in his hand. Slowly, he began to sketch the Golden Lock Divine Spell once more.

Inside the Abyssal Demon Realm, innumerable monsters made a path, and Zenobia’s avatar followed it, arriving in front of the massive God-locking Pillar.
The chains clattered loudly, and the Zenobia on the pillar slowly raised her head, locking eyes with the avatar of Sophia that had taken control of her body. She gave a slight nod and said, “You’ve done well.”
