“This is Konoha?” Nawaki stared at the current state of Konoha, dumbfounded.
Where’s the village?? It was completely in ruins!
The rebuilding efforts were underway. With ninja helping, the reconstruction was fast, but it would take time to restore Konoha.
“Regretting it now?” Shin asked Nawaki.

“Good, I won’t say more. But your trouble is about to arrive.” Shin said calmly to Nawaki and Jiraiya.
“Our trouble?” Jiraiya looked at Shin, confused.
But then, Jiraiya knew what trouble he meant. He saw Danzō approaching with Root members, and they didn’t look friendly.
“Jiraiya! You dare show your face here??” Danzō looked at Jiraiya coldly, as if Jiraiya had committed some great crime.
“Danzō, what do you mean?” Jiraiya didn’t understand what Danzō meant, but he knew Danzō was looking for trouble.
Jiraiya had expected Danzō to cause trouble, but he hadn’t expected Danzō to confront him right after he returned.
This made Jiraiya a bit angry.
“Hmph! You murdered the two elders, and you have the nerve to ask me?” Danzō snorted angrily.
“I killed the two elders?? Are you saying Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane are dead?”
Jiraiya’s eyes widened in shock.
He stared intently at Danzō. His intuition told him that the deaths of Homura and Koharu were definitely related to Danzō. It was very likely Danzō who had killed them.
