Nawaki fell silent. After a long moment, he looked up at Shin.
“Shin, what do you think I should choose?”
Nawaki couldn’t make up his mind, so he wanted Shin to advise him.
“You want me to choose for you? Nawaki, you’re a grown man now. Learn to make your own decisions,” Shin said, exasperated.

Shin believed Jiraiya understood what kind of person Danzō was. He should know what Shin meant.

Also, Jiraiya didn’t want Shin to go to Konoha. Konoha was already in such a state; it couldn’t withstand Shin Uzumaki’s antics.
What if Shin caused trouble and destroyed everything?
But then Jiraiya thought, ‘Konoha doesn’t really have anything left to destroy. There’s no need to be so defensive.’
And if Shin went with them, it could be a good thing. If they encountered a problem they couldn’t solve, Shin Uzumaki could help.
This time, they were going to deal with that bastard Danzō.
Jiraiya didn’t think Danzō would be easy to deal with. After all, Root had many powerful ninja.
