Chapter 358: 358, Sneak into Wanda Town_1
Wanda is a small town on the eastern border of the Lun Kete alliance, roughly of similar size to the Red Forest Town that Su Yu had visited before.
However, unlike Red Forest Town, most of the houses in Wanda Town had blue roofs, while those in Red Forest were mostly red. The architectural styles of the two places were also quite different, likely reflecting the cultural differences between countries.
About 2 kilometers from the town, Su Yu descended from the sky and began to walk.
Upon reaching the entrance of the town, he used the [Invisibility Skill] to sneak in.
Now as a sage mage, restrictions such as the “cooldown period” and “duration” no longer applied to his [Invisibility Skill]. As long as he had enough magical power, he could maintain his [Invisibility] indefinitely.

Upon entering the town unseen, Su Yu discovered that Wanda Town was situated atop an oasis amidst the desert.
Surrounded by a desert exterior, inside the town were large expanses of lush trees and several rivers, with a large lake in the center of the town.
The bustling commercial street of Wanda Town was build around the lake, where most of the town’s wealthy residents lived. There were even several private yachts owned by the rich anchored in the middle of the lake.
Su Yu lingered by the lake for a while, then headed toward the more remote outskirts of the town.
He would tend to navigate towards areas with fewer people; the more secluded, run-down, or shabby the streets, the more likely he would venture into them.
Eventually, in a damp, cold back alley on the south side of the town, he found his target.
A gangster with messy clothes, blue hair, and a sharp knife was threatening a Skuru woman, clearly terrified and wearing tattered clothing.
Although the Lun Kete Alliance was left-leaning politically, the presence of gangs had less to do with political ideology and more to do with the government’s management abilities and willingness.
For a remote and overlooked town such as Wanda, the existence of gangs was not surprising.
Su Yu deliberately sought out the messy, quiet and remote areas of the town in a bid to find these gangs, and now he had indeed found one!

“Quick, give me your money! I’ve been following you from the bank all the way here. It’s a golden opportunity!” The scruffy man with the knife rudely scraped the blade across the Skuru woman’s face.

When the woman fell, the gangster tried to tear the cloth bag from her hands.
But the woman clung resolutely to the bag, not letting go even when the gangster’s knife sliced open her hand. She showed no intention of letting go despite the pain.
After struggling with her for a while, the gangster lost his patience and roared, “You’re looking for death!”
He raised his knife and lunged toward the woman’s neck.
Although killing someone over a few tens of thousands wasn’t worthwhile, the gangster was too impulsive to care at this moment.
Just then, a black-purple ball of light flew from nowhere and landed straight on the gangster’s head. The ball of light was Su Yu’s [Mind Control].

“Leave it with that woman.” Su Yu frowned. So this thug was this poor, no wonder he was robbing people.
“Okay.” John quickly acted as instructed.
“Do you have any accomplices? Or do you work alone?” Su Yu watched John lay down the money before coldly asking.
“Master,” John immediately replied, “I have a boss named David. He was the one who asked me to follow that lady.”
“Let’s go. Take me to your boss!” Su Yu waved his hand and disappeared again after entering the [Invisible] state.

A few minutes later, inside a dilapidated apartment building.
“John, have you dealt with that woman I asked you to follow?” A burly Skuru man with a full beard, sipping a beer, asked John expectantly.
Before John could answer, a dark purple light ball quickly flew to his head, and Su Yu firmly controlled John’s boss’s mind also.
Tsk, tsk, [Mind Control] is really useful!” Su Yu marveled as his figure gradually appeared in the old apartment building.
